So disappointed with our service. We've used King Appliance a few years ago, and we had an amazing service, but this time, the servicer was rude and afterwards told us that our refrigerator was beyond fixable and that we should just go buy a new one. A week later we called another appliance service, and not even 10 minutes of working on the fridge, he fixed it easily, describing our issue as a tiny problem. In the end, King Appliance took our diagnosis fee, and either lied about the fridge being irreparable or he just didn't know what he was doing. I've heard from other clients who have used King Appliance talk about their reputation of only prioritizing the diagnosis fee. read more

Mr. King was called following another Athens appliance service company that said there was no problem even though I complained that my freezer food was defrosting and refreezing creating a coating of frost on all the food packages. [yes, I had to throw out all the frozen(?) food] Mr. King listened to the complaint and put a temperature monitor into the freezer to see what was happening, it sent information to his computer. Within a few days he determined it was cycling into high temps and staying there too long during the auto defrost. He even printed out the graph from the computer showing the highs and lows for me to see the before and after. He replaced the temperature sensor and it took care of the problem immediately. He used this monitor before to determine when my regular food compart was not cooling properly. What a tool! Mr. King is quick to respond. He is methodical, and his repair work spot on. This was my 3rd service call to him. I am most pleased. read more
