My issue comes from being charged a cancellation fee in the midst of a medical emergency when I requested to reschedule as I was in the ER. I would understand being charged a cancellation fee if it was for a superfluous reason, but this was entirely out of my control. When I brought up how ridiculous it was to charge me for an unforeseen emergency when I was not canceling simply attempting to reschedule, I was told to not make appointments and just call for walk in appointments or daily schedules since my "schedule wasn't firm" from their perspective. As unfortunate as it is that I can't see Christa anymore, it is because of the salon management and not anything she did.

You can tell the team here has great chemistry with each other and genuinely support each-others' craft, love it! Andy is a generational talent, I have come to her twice now with insanely outgrown, uneven, unloved hair (your girl is busy and things fall by the wayside!) and both times she has whipped me into shape. She works quickly, efficiently, and with a smile that puts you at ease. Great conversationalist, totally apt with hair cuts even if you bring her something new (my first time I wanted a k-drama style hush cut), takes special care to ensure she does the least damage possible to my hair, the list goes on. As we neared the end of our appointment yesterday, the owner of the salon (I think) came by her station and we talked about how my hair turned out, she even asked to see what it looked like before! I've never been in a salon where everyone takes a positive and personal interest in each other, but it really made me feel great. 10/10 salon. If you get the chance to visit and become a regular, I highly recommend.

It has been the best haircut I've had in the past three years. Since losing contact with my hairstylist three years ago, the haircuts I've had turned out to be mostly okay but nothing like I wanted. Today was the first time in a long time that I was satisfied and felt it was worth it (though it wasn't all that much, it's about how much all the other trendy salons charge for women). Brad was my stylist and my appointment was at 9:00 am. I know, ridiculous of me, but I had a day full of errands. I came in a few minutes early but Brad was already in and preparing for me. He truly listened to what I wanted and definitely got my idea. I didn't even had to show him a picture of what I wanted and I came prepared with a handful of pictures. He also asked if he could cut a few inches off my waist length hair, which was nice because I had someone cut 6 inches off without asking me first. He explained that cutting off the two or three inches off will help shape the haircut I wanted and I easily went with it because what he suggested was reasonable. I thought why not, it's summer and my long hair is driving me insane with its heat retaining properties (I kid you not!) and it's been getting tangled a lot lately. Brad was very personable and tolerated my chatty mouth so early in the morning. I normally don't talk that much during the day but I haven't had coffee yet and I was still half asleep. It was just me and him for a while until one of the other employees came in. My fiancee originally referred me to Brad for haircuts. He found this salon through yelp and gave it a shot about two weeks ago. My fiancee loves his haircut and I know he'd bug the crap out of me if I don't go to the same hairstylist. My fiancee and Brad definitely hit it off. My fiancee also said that Brad and the other hairstylists only come in when they have appointments set up. Otherwise, they wouldn't come in. So make sure to make an appointment instead of just walking in. My fiancee said it was just him and Brad as well on a weeknight. The place was clean, trendy looking, and I liked that it wasn't crowded although I thought it was a little stuffy in there (could be better if they turned on the AC). Overall, I would recommend this place, Brad specifically, because both my fiancee and I definitely will be coming back. I have finally found a hairstylist to go for the first time in three years!

It is time spent with one of the most genuine, kind, and uplifting people I know. She has a way of making you feel comfortable, heard, and taken care of from the moment you sit in her chair. She is consistently on time, always professional, and incredibly open to feedback. She actually listens and somehow manages to make every appointment better than the last. I came to Kathleen for a color correction after a previous color job elsewhere. She explained it…read morewould take two sessions and quoted me accordingly. I trusted the process and spent around $600. Less than 2 weeks after my first and second apt, the color had already "fallen out". Now, just over 6 weeks out, my hair looks almost exactly like it did before I ever saw her, only markedly more damaged. When I reached out again to express how disappointing the "results" were, I politely asked for a partial refund (after I had come back in 2 weeks post apt #2). She refused, citing salon policy and claiming I had my hair colored elsewhere, referring to a toner/lift I did using demi-permanent color w/ 20 volume, a normal maintenance step trying to fix the color because it still wasn't what I asked for. The only consistent thing about this experience was her inability to deliver a lasting, professional result. If there is a response to this review, it will only be done to deflect responsibility. If you're considering seeing her for a color correction or anything technical, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. My experience was frustrating and ultimately a waste of time and trust.
