What I reall want to ask, whoever is in charge of the park is, if you would consider adding a dog park in a section of the grounds. There are hundreds of people in Pecan Grove that can be seen walking their dogs every morning and evening on the streets of the Grove. Don't let the seemingly small size of this park fool you, because it's deceptively large and it's…read moreeasy to get turned around in it, especially when it starts getting dark, so if you go in the late afternoon, it would be good to have a flash-light and a little extra water...just in case you get lost! Part of the issue is that the official maps and what's on google maps is very incomplete. There are a lot of other paths that aren't on the map that just kind of appear. If you don't cross over any bridges, you'll be inside the official part of the park and worst case, you just circle back around, but if you do go over that Crossover bridge, you'll be treated to some nice hiking, but there is no other way to circle back around because the 2nd bridge will put you in the "uncharted" part of the park and take you to the Pumpkin Lakes and you will have to come back the same way you came. This is kind of a shame and hopefully in time, they'll add another pedestrian bridge near Red Gully Lookout, but hey, you're there to walk so this is a way to walk more! For some reason, even though this is right next to an airport and a large suburban neighborhood, the GPS keeps going wonky too so don't count on that too much. This was my first visit with some other people who had never visited the park so I think we all became experts in the park and won't get turned around next time but a few extra signs wouldn't have hurt to help newcomers.

Once there you scan your guest pass. The welcoming process wasn't that welcoming by the front staff workers. They barely made eye contact or anything. Location for the class was odd being off in the corner from a gym full of kids in a summer camp. Yet once we entered into the cycling studio Dan definitely did bring a more bright and uplifting aura. The music was vibrant and the exercise was nice and challenging. The spin class is every Tuesday at 6:30pm and guest can come every 60 days I think but you can't reserve a spot in the class. You'd have to wait until a spot opens. So that can be a bit nerve wrecking if many come that day. So shoutout to Dan for making the experience amazing!

I really like the large TVs they have to watch sports while working out. The restrooms have quite a few stalls and lots of lockers. This has the potential to be a great gym if they update free weights equipment. The bench press is very out dated and lots of missing weights. Barbells are very disorganized and missing. Members pay an annual maintenance fee for FC so why isn't the facility being maintained to members standards. Members are what provides your income and we are not getting what we pay for.
