They have mini golfing where you can rent equipment inside the facility. They have a great playground area and outdoor fitness equipment. Inside the facility, they have a free pool and gym area. They offer a variety of classes such as yoga, water aerobics, etc. Make sure to check out their website or pick up their schedule at the facility for hours of operation. For first timers, you will have to fill out a form and don't forget to bring a large sized towel for workouts! There's a really great large dog park next door but there's no entrance to the dog park from Mary Jo Peckham. You would have to park at the Katy Library to enter the dog park. I love the quiet room with the Jacuzzi in it. It's so freaking relaxing. I also like that they have a steam room and a sauna. I love the steam room. If you have eucalyptus oils, I suggest to get a towel and put it on the towel( personal wash cloth) , walk in and kinda inhale it while you in there with the steam. 10/10 !!!! I also like to take showers here lol I've never been to a gym and was excited to take a shower after working out in pool because most of the times gyms don't keep up their bathrooms . But not this gym.! They're about $10 a day which I pay because I don't have a membership and just can't afford one right now but I do come once a month. Late fee is $32 and if you have multiple cards on your account, the primary is locked because you're off shore due to work, YOU ARE still going to be charged the late fee $32 but the very next day they will charge any card on file and of course it goes through. Unfortunately they will not refund because per Villa Sport, "late fee is late fee". So people read your contract carefully because I also had to pay $80 to cancel the membership. Any other amenities you also have to pay more to add onto membership. Lifetime didn't give me all this hassle. Mind you I used the gym a few times per month when I would return back. It was so inconvenient that freezing also came with a specific time lock, 30 days. So if I arrived before the account would unfreeze I still couldn't use it. There are just more classes available in the day than nights. Wish there were more options for healthcare workers that work graveyard shifts.

The initial appeal is that Katy Hustle has its own gym that can host tournaments while other programs lease facilities.. The emphasis is on the older players while younger players are not consistently coached or supervised during practice. Its not a bad program, just that it could be better managed. Considering the cost, more attention could be paid to fulfilling the representation of excellence in coaching and customer service. No question that the gym is nice, but that is the only saving grace for this program until greater effort is made to build the brand of a player-focused program. Fortunately this is in a high growth area so as they lose clients more will come to replace them. The incentive to improve probably isnt there right now because it doesnt have to be there. In a another sense, I would concur that the excellent facility and the program that funds it is well named - the Katy hustle.

This Katy Cinco Ranch location is very family oriented and has plenty of space & equipment. I have yet to have any issues with waiting to use equipment even when it is busier. You will find a surplus of treadmills, free weights, squat racks, benches, and more for all your exercise needs. There is also a child care area available for the younger ones. In addition, they also have a gymnasium with multiple side rims, as well as both an indoor and outdoor pool. Other areas available include a stretch room, cycling room, group exercise room, and another smaller weight room. They have plenty of locker/storage space as well, located is some weight rooms, outside the restroom/pool area, and inside the restrooms as well (the ones in the restroom require your own lock). One of the things I love most is they have a water fountain with a filtered water bottle filler so I can bring my empty water bottle from home and fill it with water at the Y for my workout. Another thing I appreciate are the several sanitizing stations for your hands and for wiping down equipment. Overall I'm extremely happy with this Y. The staff are very friendly, they have plenty of parking and allow 3 free guest passes per year (my previous Y made you pay for all guest passes). The only slight negative I've found so far is that they don't provide basketballs for the gymnasium due to people not returning them, which is understandable. Thus, I highly recommend this YMCA!

They don't have as much equipment as the other one in Katy, but it's not bad and it's somewhat similar, and might even be a 5 star if the greeting staff had been friendlier. It's often quite quiet in here which I like, and which you wouldn't expect considering a lot of fairly well-to-do people live around here and Cinco Ranch isn't flush with gyms (or flushing toilets) (OK it probably is). It has plenty of space and is a pretty good gym all things considered, and I'll probably be using it again in the near future. The hard part is getting in the door, of course. I used to be a member at this exact gym and due to the way he spoke to me and my mother and sister, I will absolutely not be be bringing my business back to this gym due to the type of employees they choose to keep at this gym. If you don't like to talk to people in a respectable manner, go back to school and get another type of job.
