The machines constantly having issues is clearly something management should take more seriously, and the staff should have a better attitude when customers bring it up. Today was even worse. I showed up to get some batting work in, only to find the entire building closed. An electrician on site mentioned it was due to electrical issues, which honestly makes sense considering how often the machines don't work properly. The frustrating part is there was no notification anywhere saying the facility was closed. Google Maps showed the place as completely open. I've been to other D-BAT locations, and this one is by far the worst experience I've had. Even the bats are in poor condition.

He not only tested the machine, fixed the arm, and pinpointed the problem efficiently but also provided our girls with a bucket of balls for tee and front toss practice while the machine was being repaired. Moreover, this facility utilizes real balls, which is a great feature. Alex demonstrated excellent customer service by communicating the issue to both the girls and myself, showing kindness and professionalism. Next day I was told I didn't have a membership, while I just visited their facility and 2 others in the last 3 weeks. Lillian couldn't have been more rude like it was making her day to be a jerk to us. Both days I dropped my daughter off at the family zone the welcome was weird. During my 2 days there I would check on her frequently. The facilities are ok but compared to the other Y in the area I would say if you are on a national pass and traveling, choose the other facility. I still have a couple of complaints: Their refs are not all on the same page. Some things are counted off and some are getting by with other refs. The blonde ref does not pay attention when she is working. She texts and drinks beer...not looking at the game. The bald ref counts EVERYTHING! if your hand is not completely together hitting a serve ball, you are done, son! he stops the game all the time and it gets annoying because we just want to play. We are not pros!!!! Another complaint is customer service: I ordered four burgers with my groupon. It took him 45 mins to bring them out. Ordered at 5:30pm, came out at 6:15pm. My game was at 6:15pm. I inhaled my burger in 30 seconds because I had a game. Instead of putting in my order when he was suppose to, he chose to eat his first before putting my orders in. Then forgot about it and came back out to ask me again. I told two different guys the same order three different times. I told him twice and once more to the guy in the back. The burgers were salty when they came out! I asked him about my order after 30 mins past. He told me it'll be ready when it's ready. That's really awesome customer service, guys....NOT!

All staff where the same colored shirts on the same day, so there is an identifiable uniform. Just as cheer wears a certian uniform, socks, shoes, bows etc. So they can be identified and show as a team. (Have different shirts for customers to buy vs the same as staff) 2. *Consistency* in how a class is taught when you have multiple instructors (different one each week) is key for many! (Example: warm up the same, next exercise/apparatuse the same and how the present, explain and demonstrate, and so on) -When there is so much variation students tend to get confused. 3. Show the student how to do the exercise, do not just mark it, as many do not have an idea. Example Cartwheel - show a cartwheel, explain a cartwheel, then help student do cartwheel (just like you do a routine marked or full out, show full out!) 4. When classes are going on, random gym kids are wondering the floor and getting in the way of others. This is a safety hazard and rude to the ones participating in a class. 5. Staff should not be allowed phone use (or even on the mat) during a teaching of a class. 6. Staff greets as one walks in, Hospitality goes a long way in a competitive market (vs talking to friends) Overall kids enjoyed, instructors are nice, however had no big take aways or building on skills. We will be looking for another gym to try.

He was able to get me a private lesson that afternoon! He has been teaching for over 30 years. He has a lot of experience and a ton of patience with me! Lessons are always fun. He plays upbeat music and is able to explain skills in different ways so I can better understand my approach. Picking up a new hobby is difficult but I'm glad I have Fred as my coach. He has provided me with a ton of tips! 10/10 would recommend him to my friends and family.
