Great facility! Really cool staff! We came from out of town and this was the perfect place to get the kids ready before the tournament.

I wouldn't say this is the absolute worst batting cage in Arizona but there's definitely better alternatives. The machines only gave you one or two seconds to load into your swing before it threw a pitch, and seeing the ball come out of the machine was hard. The pitch machine was inconsistent at times, however when it fed a good pitch once in a while it was easy to hit. Sharing the machines does make for a pain trying to get into line and waiting. I understand it's busy which is ok, but maybe have more than 1 or 2 soft toss cages for people who just wanna work on their form instead of getting tossed into a machine pitch batting cage with no warmup. Prices are really good I will say, you definitely get your moneys worth. It's certainly not horrible, but if you're looking for better, there's a Scottsdale Batting Cage 20 minutes north off the 101 which has great machines, is very calm, and are versatile between soft toss and machine pitch at your own discretion. read more

You could not see when the ball was coming using their provided pitching machine. They had a tube and it was hard to see the balls loading because they were dark and you load and it was hard to hit. We were forced to share our batting cage with another person because the other cages were down and the lady said those were the rules. The lady that was rude to us at the front desk about bats, snacks, and sharing our cage Was the weird built Mexican lady she wears glasses. She is pretty short She was walking like she owned the place and was sassy and had an attitude. The other front desk lady was acting slow like it was her first time, but it clearly she knew most things about the store besides customer service and social awkwardness. We then the lady at the end and she was still acting sassy, and then when the conversation was close to being over, she didn't let us finish our statement and door on us and locked it the same weirdly built Mexican lady with the glasses. read more

Greetings Steve, I wanted to reach to you to let you know about our experience with Coach Jordan. I learned about a D-Bat Speed and agility camp held during spring break thru my Son's flag football team. I signed him up and the 3 day camp Jordan held was fantastic. I again brought my Son Logan back for the 4 session Speed and Strength course. I have to say Jordan is a fantastic coach. He knows the needs of these young athletes, he does very well at evaluating their abilities and really works to coach them up. My Son showed great improvement in a short time. I appreciate that Jordan values the training session and is a "no nonsense work hard" trainer. He's stern but still fun and interacts well. I can't say enough how much we appreciate his coaching and Logan looks forward to working with Jordan in the future. read more

I've used D-bat for almost 4 years. I love the instructors, but booking is so difficult. They never answer the phone, which leaves the app. When I had a membership, I would book on the app and pay. Then the day of the lesson they would auto bill my credit card on file. When I caught the double billing. I played phone tag for a week or so and it got credited back. I just had to book directly and not pay on the app. Now I booked on the app and did not pay. I received a message from the instructor, so I know it was seen. I drive out for our 8:30pm appt only to find that it was not in the system. The instructor was not there. I showed them the messages showing that it was there a week before when I received a message about it from the instructor. The employee said if you do not pay on the app, it won't book the lesson. I reminded them of the last issue I had. Made the long drive home. Pooped from the long day. And no lesson. When lessons are nearly $50 for a half hour, the app should work. read more

D-BAT is an outdoor batting facility. They have 14 (or so) different cages available. Four are slow pitch softball, a couple are fast pitch softball and the rest are various speeds of baseball pitching machines. They have a bunch of free bats available to use... and then some nicer ones available for $1. Since I'm playing softball again, it's time to get my swing and timing back and start hitting like I should be. On a Wednesday late afternoon there were only a few other people there, so I got my choice and made the most of it. The facility looked good. However, the speed setting and actual ball speed differed, and we felt the balls were somewhat heavy (!?) My son's composite bat had a dent after hitting a few balls, and he almost broke his wrist by hitting some of those balls. We might choose the wrong box, but he might have ended his baseball career if it went wrong. I, as an old man yet experienced baseball player, also had severe pain in my hand after hitting the balls, which had never happened before. read more

Sunday around 4, 4 people. We bought the 15 round package. Luckily it was not too crowded so we were able it move from cage to cage easily, all of us taking turns. The counter personnel were friendly and explained how things worked. The place was clean and cool. We will def go back again. read more

I rarely come to this location even though it's close to my house. My home location is Scottsdale which is excellent in every way. I happened to come here tonight just to get some swings in after a long day at work and my machine was all over the place. Ended up snapping off my virtually unbreakable Marucci hard maple bat worth $150. I'm also a college level player so I know I'm not in there taking bad hacks. I would've given them negative stars if it weren't for their employees who were nice and seemed apologetic about my bat and the faulty machine. I just gave them the card with all my credits on it back and walked out the door I was so mad. Probably won't come back again. read more

This batting cage was very nice. It seems like this was a pretty new location because a lot of the equipment seemed to be really new and nice. There was a little bit of an issue with the machine throwing the pitches a little low but they had a button that you could press to adjust the pitches (which sometimes worked and sometimes didn't). I'm sure they will figure this problem out though. Really friendly staff that showed great customer service. I thought that the prices were pretty reasonable too. I want to give a shout out to D-bats Mesa and Coach Kiley. D-bats Mesa is clean and the counter staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. My daughter started hitting lessons with Kiley approximately 6 months ago and I can not begin to tell you the difference it has made in her performance but most of all her confidence and love for the game. Kiley takes the time to explain what she is doing and why and how it will impact her performance. Kiley also takes the time to encourage her outside of the cage. Kiley wants to know how she did at her games so she can encourage or help her work where she is struggling. She has reached out to her providing words of encouragement on and off the field! Great place to get your swings and anything else you might need to better yourself. Prices here are pretty reasonable! Also, the staff is courteous and friendly. One of our friend's sons was in town and we needed to find a batting cage last second. Yelp told us that D-BAT was close by. The facility is really big and really clean. Looked like it had about 12-15 cages. You could use a machine in the first 4-6 and then the rest were standard cages with nets in the middle separating each. We got there on a Saturday when nobody was really there. It was nice because we weren't close to anyone else and the guy who checked us in gave us an hour of time for a half hour of pay. It was really nice because we had never been there. The facility was well taken care of and clean. Their bathrooms are outdated and didn't seem so clean. However it was really a great facility to use. read more

My daughter began seeing Coach Kiley for hitting lessons a few months back and that eventually led to fielding/catching lessons as well. With her coaching, she's been able to instill proper mechanics, that got rid of bad habits, and has brought consistency in my daughter's production on the field.
