Omg this place was so much fun! I used to love going to the batting cages as a kid. I did bring a little nostalgia. The restrooms were clean, they played music and the prices weren't too bad. I recommend bringing your own bat. I got a black eye though because the ball hit the bat in a sweet spot and it smacked me in the eye. I did find it a little weird that they had no ice or ice packs for sale. That would be the only recommendation from me. Is have some sort of an emergency station. If u're not expecting to be treated like royalty or a batting cage with all the bells and whistles, then this place will rock ur world!! Half hour of batting time for $12 bucks!!! What a deal!! Bats are limited here so if u have a bat, bring it! If u don't have ur own bat, make sure u bring some gloves as the bats that they allow u to borrow will mess up ur hands if u're not careful. My hubby left with a big ol gaping blister! I didn't have that type of damage, but it was pretty painful while batting. Other than not being prepared, we had a blast here! They have all different cages for all different flavors of pitches. Fast, slow, up, down, turn around, u know what I mean... anyway, super fun!!! Home Run Stadium has been around since I was a kid in the 90s. Not much has changed there over the years. The batting cages can be rented by time or tokens. I recommend time but do what you like. The machines are the wind up arm type. These are by far the best. The cages are are also outside (as they should be). Most others in the area are indoor. The arcade and snack bar is 80's 90's par. After moving to AZ from CA I have been in search of a quality batting cage establishment. I came here late afternoon before a slow-pitch softball scrimmage to get some cuts in and work on my timing. It is great to be hitting in cages that let you see how far and where the ball is going. Super clean and they even had misters and music playing. My son just started baseball and I was looking for a place where he could practice his swing. I was recommended Home Run Stadium. It was exactly what we needed. We loved how the baseballs automatically roll back down to the machine area and recycles back through. The music was awesome, many catchy songs that is popular with many generations. The owner talked to my son about the best way to play the sport and how to properly stand and swing the bat. True customer service we did not expect. What better way to kill time between spring training games than the batting cages. We came here in the afternoon wanting to see if we were as good as the players we had been watching. The answer is no, of course not, but it was brutal to see just how bad we were. There are bats you can rent for $1 and cheapo freebies outside. Helmets are all around too, and the machines take tokens which I think give you 20 pitches. Front desk guy was super helpful and instructive, in case you have trouble with the concept of coin go in, balls come out. One particular attempt by our group was cursed. We had been doing okay, making some solid contact sometimes and missing other times. One time an unnamed individual, walked in and tried to swing at some pitches. The first five blew past him at the blistering 30mph or whatever the slow pitch machine throws. We started paying attention as the next pitch came out. Miss again. Then another, then another, then another. There might have been something weird with the lighting or perhaps a trick with perspective and height. The machines might have been moving even, who can say. But then another miss and another and another. Before we knew it we were all standing watching as the last pitch came in and then it was all over. Home Run Stadium became Perfect Game Stadium. The other machines were ignoring the pitcher as is tradition until the very end of the game. They continued to ignore each other after because they are still just machines. But in their inability to express emotion, we laughed in shock and surprise. Thank you for the memories Home Run Stadium Batting Cages. You've earned a special place in our hearts. read more

This is clearly an old school facility from the ancient guy at the front desk to the neighborhood it lies, but your here to hit balls and Home Run delivers on that simple task. It was $20 for an hour ($12 half hour) of whatever pitching you choose (softball for me) and away you go. They have free bats to use as well and they have been around for 30 years, so they are doing things right. There are some targets in the cage you can try to nail, but otherwise this seems to be a fine place to work on your swing for a reasonable fee. read more

Great batting cage. I've been going here since I was a little girl playing travel ball. Great machines 20 pitches each round for $1. No helmets required (which is a plus, as most cages make you and I am not a fan) I've traveled from all over the valley just to come to this one batting cage. Had a great time! Yes, this is an older facility, however it was super clean and well maintained! I haven't played softball in 10 years and boy was I sore for the next few days! Inexpensive and fun for a date! If it's hot, there are misters but wouldn't recommend this for any temperature over 100 degrees unless you plan on sweating. What's not to love about this nostalgic batting cage! I've been coming to Home Run Stadium for the last couple decades (Robo Pitch era). A $1 token get's you (20) balls to hit. They have free bats to use, or rent an upgraded bat for $1. There is roughly 14-15 cages with various speeds for baseball and softball. They recently remodeled the netting and extended hours of operation till 9pm. I find myself coming all the way from Phoenix to use this cage because I genuinely love vibe here. read more

This place is awesome. I came here on a Sunday mid morning. There was nobody there. I hit about 70 baseballs for 7 bucks. They do have a $10 minimum for credit cards so be aware of you do not have cash. It also costs a dollar to rent a bat. But it was well worth it to relive the glory days. There was no one bothering me and I had the cages to myself. Come here if you want to hit some baseballs and hangout. Also they have a big wheel if you get 5 tokens or more you get to spin. I unfortunately landed in between water and a snack so no prize for me but still a cool concept. Great local establishment. read more

Great place to take the kids for batting practice. No wait both times we've been. Great prices as well $10 for 10 tokens each gives 20 balls. Softball and baseball cages. Start in one of the slow pitch cages then go to one of the medium pitch cages and by the time you get to the fast pitch cage you can hit a ball. My son is pretty athletic has played soccer and basketball for years. But his first time playing baseball his Junior year in high school (a small school) he struck out every time his first two games. We came to the cages twice over spring break his next game hit a home run and got a base hit. We tried other cages: one indoor with a long line and many others don't open until late afternoon. I've practiced at this facility for about 30 years. It changed names several times but the current owners have kept it up the best.
