Shad worked hard to make things right and it showed, very much appreciated. What a fantastic decision to transfer him to this facility in Gilbert to "fix" things, he definitely is in the right spot and will go far. During my dealings with Shad last week, I dealt with numerous others that definitely deserve recognition for their patience, helpfulness and just being kind over the phone. Chase was the one answering the phone and wanting to help, good listener and never just transferred me to get me off his line, he truly wanted to make sure I got to the right person. Andrew, the assistant manager is also in the right position, he truly is there to serve MountainSide's customers. Last but not least is Chandler the manager, talk about making things happen for the good of the customers and the follow up is amazing, something you don't find anymore. One morning I was taking my 2-year-old to the Kid Zone when he urgently needed to use the restroom. We were clearly in a rush, but the front desk employee stopped me and insisted I scan a QR code before letting us pass. The interaction felt unnecessarily strict and passive-aggressive. If I didn't have a membership, I wouldn't even be able to use the Kid Zone, so the situation could have been handled with a little more understanding given that I was trying to help my child get to the restroom. What made the experience worse was the tone. It felt like a scene was made in front of my child over something that could have been handled calmly and quickly. For a gym that charges close to $50 a month, I would expect a higher level of customer service and basic courtesy. I spoke with someone at the register afterward and was told the manager would be informed, but it has been over two weeks and I haven't received any follow-up or apology. Between that experience and the already high membership price (especially considering the sauna often smells unpleasant), I decided to cancel my membership. I'm very disappointed and will be going to a different gym moving forward. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this location based on my experience.

I hopped on a Precor treadmill and tried to connect my iPhone. No luck. I asked staff on the floor if there was an app. No one knew. I went home and did a quick Google search. Precor uses the Preva app. Downloaded it. The app immediately asked for a club code. I called the Chandler location. Spoke with two people. Neither knew what I was talking about. I called two other locations. Same result. I finally spoke with an assistant manager. They checked with the general manager. Still no answer. Not a single person knew that Precor even has its own app. That alone was surprising. What happened next was worse. The assistant manager told me to call corporate. I did. The person who answered had clear attitude, no answers, and no idea who could help. I was then given the phone number for a local Precor sales rep. That is not a support experience. That is a handoff. I am writing this from two perspectives. 1) As a club member, this was frustrating and disappointing. 2)As a business consultant, this is exactly the kind of frontline failure I would escalate to ownership. You promote premium equipment, but your staff is not trained on basic features members actually use. You promote friendliness, but the experience felt indifferent, plus corporate attitude. You promote community, but new members are left to figure things out on their own. Mountainside Fitness started with smiles and towels. Somewhere along the way, the smiles stopped meaning much. Over here, I only come for Cecilia's class. EōS is a solid gym and I have no real complaints. It's bright, clean, and basic. It's also pretty spacious compared to some of their other locations. I get to do what I need to do and get out with relative ease. This parking lot seems to be more plentiful compared to all the other EōS locations I have been to.

Specifically in detail, both by text and in conversation, it was expressed between members that there would be no personalized training... Just working out as members often do together... Often seen there with friends working out together and Couples. Anyone that has been in a gym sees people working out together and pushing the workout all the time. (Spotting for reps, etc) The management and staff mistakingly made assumptions, and furthermore, in discussion, even when being shown proof by text evidence and verbalization from the other members, would not accept that it was just members working out together. The GM Connor Wickland Expressed a non-solicit policy, And even in a phone conversation, when asked what about it specifically was a solicitation, she would not answer. She literally chose to avoid answering that they had made a mistake. The same thing happened with Cam one of their training staff, Making accusations of propositioning members instead of having a conversation to learn the truth. He was then corrected and literally told in person by another member that there was no training taking place, no propositioning, and it was simply buddies working out together. Literally being shown the truth of his mistake in person via text and conversation. Instead of taking ownership of his mistake he escalated the situation. He then became very threatening and in a close proximity while both raising his voice and shaking uncontrollably. (All of this shown on their video system) Vasa fitness is an example of a poor professional establishment and it has been proven by both their one sided dismissive phone conversations and non ethical actions. I strongly urge you to train anywhere else. Their corporate will be hearing about this and they will have one opportunity to correct this. If zero stars was an option they would be receiving it.
