Never been to this salon before as I usually go to Newbury Street, but they were overbooked. So I needed to find someone that I could trust to cut my hair. Cassia is wonderful! I came in recently for a keratin treatment and am so happy with the results. I have thick curly/wavy hair that takes a lot of product and time to style. Got a haircut here and the final product didn't really look anything like the reference photos i showed him. The pictures i showed had one part of the hair asymmetrical and slightly longer than my hair already was. Obviously they can't make my hair longer, but i was really unhappily surprised when he took off a few inches from the area that was supposed to be long. My hair is basically just at an awkward length now. Other details were also ignored completely. They're very nice people but i just wish that for once i could go to a stylist and have them actually make my hair look like my reference picture. read more

I came to this place with a mess (grey strands, Frizzy, Split ends and out of shape hair). I was fortunate to get an appointment with Cassia. I have been to this place before for the hair color so I trusted Cassia's expertise in hair coloring. I came to Cassia for a haircut with highlights. She spent first few minutes in understating what I am looking for and how I visualize the end look. I really appreciate this because sometimes stylists don't spend time in understanding customer's vision and end up all together in a different look. Cassia spent three hours in doing my highlights along with coloring out my grey rooted strands. This also includes a shoulder length. Just had my 2nd keratin done. This is the only place I have visited again for my keratin. I have really fine damaged dry and curly hair but the treatment i got done from this salon made my hair feel so healthy and shiny. i could blow dry my hair with low heat in just 3 mins. i noticed less hairfall as my hair didn't get tangled like it use to before.. perfect if you have lot of flyaways like me. The only place where i had my kertain done and did not see damage to my hair.. even when it was wearing off the hair looked healthy and shiny with some waves. She took the time to go over the options with me, and in the end I opted for the Brazilian Keratin. I was apprehensive at first, since I had a keratin treatment done last year that only lasted a month. I have been reading about and contemplating different hair straightening treatments for almost two years... I finally did it and I am so glad! First, I have to explain that I have very thick, very frizzy, and very curly hair. I have tried every "frizzy" hair tip and product imaginable but nothing has ever worked. I read about Cassia and D'Ciro and decided to go for it. I was terrified of chemicals partly because of my very sensitive Irish skin and also because I have never even colored my hair before! I was shocked when the chemical straightener did not bother me at all! My hair looks amazing. It's soft and shiny and not dried out like it used to be if I flat ironed it. I can keep it curly if I want or blow dry it straight (which is amazing to me since blow drying my hair used to create a huge frizzy mop on my head).
