We ordered Sweet Bangkok & Winter Melon drinks, Bao Chicken & Cheese steak sandwich. The sandwiches are surprising good, especially the Cheese Steak sandwich. The food was nothing like you see on FB. The ingredients were not fresh (shrimp and broccoli) and the salt and pepper was on sale..very generous amounts. If I could give less than one star I would. We've conversed with Duy (the owner) for over 3 months to cater our wedding. We ran into several issues that ultimately ended with us canceling his services and wanting nothing to do with him or his business. First, we live on the east coast and scheduled a tasting for a date that was agreed upon by both parties. Duy proceeds to cancel a month away from the agreed date, after we purchased cross country tickets, stating that he only does weekend tastings. He then asks to reschedule as if we live close by (we live on the opposite coast). Because of his lack of understanding and poor scheduling, we couldn't make it but luckily we had a west coast friend make the trip to taste for us. Duy, without notifying us, arrives with items that we didn't ask for, stating due to an event they had that week, they can only provide items they made for someone else's event. Mind you, we paid $200 for these items that were agreed upon before hand. So we didn't receive/taste the items we paid for. He tells us to just come back again with a complete lack of consideration that were not local. We decide to overlook these inconveniences and sketchy practices bc we didn't want to restart our catering search. After 3 + months of communication, quotes and tasting conflicts, Duy "suddenly remembers" they have a transportation fee which was never mentioned nor documented on any of his previous quotes. All in all, we were at a roughly $600 loss dealing with Duy and his sketchy practices. read more

Chef Duy and his wife, Diane, are not only talented but extremely kind people. It is rare to meet people with these traits. We booked them for a small birthday event in October; and from the very first interaction, we've been so happy with their communication and customer service. They did not make us feel that our event is too small and have been so responsive to all of our questions. Everytime Duy picks up my calls, he knows exactly who I am, and this speaks volume about their customer service!! We stopped by their storefront to try some of their food and drinks, and we love the twist on the Vietnamese food. There isn't a lot of Vietnamese fusion out there my family would approve of, but we feel confident that D-D Catering will exceed expectations. I reached out to them over Instagram and they responded quickly about menu, price and they were willing to accommodate our orders even it was small orders and last minute added on orders. I love how they cared about their quality by giving us a recommendation for the pick up foods time frame. Hired D-D Catering for my Xmas party and I have to say I made the right decision to do so! Duy and his wife was by far the best! They took a whole load of stress off of me by providing a spectacular catering service! From their presentation, and to how good their food taste! My guest was very impressed! I also appreciate the fact they threw in the caviar and the dessert at no extra charge as a holiday gift for me as their client. I gave them my budget, they worked on it right away, and provided me with the most favorable proposal. This review is way overdue, but my wife and I have been so busy after our wedding to finally express how grateful we are for Chef Duy, his wife, and amazing team for catering our wedding. We had an outdoor wedding at Saratoga Springs Wedding Venue, and wanted more food options to provide our guests than the BBQ that was offered by the venue. Duy was very helpful with his communication and recommendation once we had booked him. He treated me like a friend and brought up concerns that he foresaw and advised us how to avoid any inconvenience for us and our guests. They were very on point with service, quality of food, and presentation. I was under immense stress, but D-D Catering pulled through and allowed us to have a magical wedding without any issues. We hosted 150 guests, and opted for buffet style. My only recommendation would to discuss ways to serve guests without creating a line. We had a line build up, but not due to their fault, venue was not setup properly for buffet style. I would definitely book them again for future events and will without a doubt refer them if anyone has catering needs.
