First , the place is small* if you know you get busy at least have space to put chairs for your clients waiting. 2nd I walked in, i tell the receptionist lady ( i am here to see DEE ) she points behind and says OH speak to her shorty named (Helen) , I'm looking at the receptionist super puzzled because im hella confused* OK so i ask "HER"(Helen) hey I'm here to see DEE, she goes OH, did you speak to DEE?? Because she has a walk in LIST and if you didn't tell her you're coming to see her she gets mad... HM ok let me see wth does "WALK IN" mean??? Means you walk in and get served? Correct?? So if there's a list then that's obviously it's by appointment.... whatever. So Helen stays quiet & askes JARI the other booboo the fool who almost cut her clients hand. I am leaving this place traumatized!! FRAUDULENT PLACE SAFE YOUR MONEY AND ENERGY. My hair is short (shoulder length) and all I needed was a straight trim. I asked the stylist here clearly what I wanted. But the minute she started dividing my hair I notice the division in the middle wasn't even a straight line. (I have gotten this same cut multiple times with real professionals) So I had to tell her to make the division right for what she did and laugh like it was a casual mistake. For that on I prayed throughout the cut because she clearly didn't know what she was doing. Then when she was blow drying my hair I started noticing it was not a straight cut! Many sections of my hair were one shorted than others and it looked terrible! She recognized but again just laughing and said she was gonna even the sides! She started cutting but a girl sitting next to me said it was not right. So I called another stylist in this place and she who at the begging welcomed me into the place in a friendly way was clearly angry. Holding my head on a rude way she cut my hair straight, but of course way shorter to what I requested. When I pointed that out the only thing she said was: Just give it a week. If this whole thing wasn't enough. When I go to the cashier to pay for my cut I gave her my card and I see her typing $380 !! To what my card rejected it. And she asked for another card. I gave her my card again and asked her to do it again. To what I see her typing again $380! The cut was $48. So there was no way this was a mistake. She asked for another card and when I gave her my same card again she reacted angry, so I said I saw you wrote $380 she said no. Then I asked to do it again with the same card on my face and she did it and the card worked. I never experienced such a horrible service in my entire life. The salon was clean with an open waiting area. They also take debit/credit cards which is not common for salons in the neighborhood (a bonus for me since it saved me from a trip to the ATM). I went in the day before NYE I had an appt. stylist was running 1 hour behind (still ok for the day before New Years Eve) she was attentive, greeted me and asked me if I wanted anything to drink (how sweet) the place is clean & gorgeous. This is my second time going to Lush. The decor is cute and the people are super nice. They offer you coffee and/or wine. However, today I got what has to be the worst blow out of my life. Im Hispanic and I have pretty thin manageable hair. I had rollers done then an older lady proceeded to do my blowout. She's a nice lady but it was a terrible job. So bad that I didn't tip her. I HATE not tipping. First time I did my hair there I got it done with Leidy she was great. I probably won't be going back unless Leidy is there cause I'm not willing to spend $25 to try someone else and have them do a bad job. There are way too many salons around the area and I like going to places where I can have someone else do my hair if the person I usually do it with is not there or is super busy. I give this place 1 star besides the glass of free wine they give you there's nothing great about this place. I went to get a blow out and my bangs trimmed from what I had trimmed myself which didn't look bad. They stylist complained about my bangs not being even then she cuts my bangs even more uneven and way to short. I had to stop her from cutting more hair off my bangs. When I was done my hair was frizzy bangs uneven and shorter than I liked them. Never again will I go here. I can just do my hair at home much better and I'm not at all a profesional. read more

I have visited this salon for about two years. I finally decided to discontinue being a customer. The owner is very immature, her focus is on GOSSIPING and being liked by her YOUNGER STAFF. She's clueless and a weak leader. When you bring CONCERNS to her attention, she responds by passively dismissing you and fails to correct the problem. She doesn't know how to be a manager. There is no consistency with the staff and the service. The staff on site are immature (with the exception of the older women who does hair, beware she can't cut hair.), inexperienced and unprofessional. There is little to no structure or supervision. Instead of walking around the salon making sure that customers are receiving good service and that they are satisfied with the care. The manager focuses on gossiping with staff and customers, posting on her Instagram, and filming her customers on social media WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION! While her hair washers are pulling customer's hair, the stylists are burning customer's hair, and other stylists are f----ing up customer's hair styles (like uneven hair cuts, burnt ends, ugly finger waves, and bad bleaches) This is because they LACK EXPERIENCE & GUIDANCE! horrible customer service!!!!! i went to this salon on a sunday to get my nails done at 10:30am on the website and on the door of this business list the hours of operation which are that they open at 10:00am on sunday. so again i got there at 10: 30 am and no nail techs was there not one!!! and the beautician that was there had no clue when they would be there. i will never come to this place again. my usual spot ( nail squad) was closed. they do great nails and they open on time. read more

Went here for a massage with deal on Groupon. This was probably the worst massage ever. The staff is nice and the place is clean and that's about it for the pros. The tables don't have a headrest so my neck was in awkward positions during the massage. The massage mostly consisted of her rubbing oil on my back vigorously. It was like when you ask someone to put lotion on your back and they rub it in that's how it felt. I thought I was going to get rug burn from the rubbing. There was no effort to massage deeper to the muscles. She then placed cold stones on my back after trying to warm them by rubbing them in her hand. That doesn't work to warm the stones. I'm pretty sure this woman is not licensed or has even taken any classes on how to give a massage. I will not be returning and now I have to find a real massage to work out the kinks in my neck from laying in an awkward position here. read more

Hands down Ms Tee Tee and Ms Francesca are the 2 best nail techs I've ever had! The salon is clean, the customer service is excellent and my nails are always on point! They use the best products and are true professionals. I'm a bit boring when it comes to my nails, but these two ladies always steer me in the right direction. I visit Tee Tee every 2 weeks religiously, but because she is so great with acrylic she can make my fill in last 3 weeks (I'm funny with my nails so I will still see her even if I don't really need it lol). Ms Francesca does my boyfriends manicures and he's always happy when he leaves. The ladies have amazing personalities and are extremely passionate about there craft. Being that it's so hard to find a professional nail tech in the Bronx I highly recommend visiting lush beauty salon for all your beauty needs! read more

The stylists were polite and my hair looked amazing when it was done. Got a wash & set with a layered cut for just $40!
