You then wake up and canoe to your car, whenever you want. The best part is you don't have to meet anyone, you just leave the canoe and head out. It's gorgeous, totally isolated, and you can light bonfires to your hearts content. I love it because it's true camping, without having to hike and carry anything on your back. The stars are insane & its now become an annual trip. It's a blast. Just go!

I arrived for my reservation one hour early for the reservation and was told I didn't provide a Wisconsin license and they could not rent the boat. I asked them to cancel the reservation and they refused and charged my credit card for the rental. It would have been very helpful if they required a Wisconsin license prior to accepting the rental. I would also add Paul was extremely rude and not certain how he feels justified to charge for a service that was never provided. If you are looking to rent a boat in Madison, you should pass on Capital Boat Club.

When I got there today, I was SHOCKED to see the condition of the 'new' bike! What a waste of 4 hours and $30 in gas. After making me wait 10 minutes for my deposit to be refunded, they offered to sell me this $2,400 bike for cost ($2,000). I wouldn't pay a penny for it! I rubbed my hand on the frame and the paint chipped off even more! I am livid that I wasn't told about the condition over the phone. Absolutely terrible business!!!

There is a smaller space through a step down that features more bikes lining the walls. In addition to the actual bicycles, they offer a wide variety of accessories, tools, kits, tires, tubes, etc...and even a few other outdoor sports for those who go beyond bikes. Service was super friendly. While we were not after a bicycle that day, the staff was very welcoming, helpful and enjoyed chatting up about bicycles...as we had questions! Overall, solid spot in a beautiful location! My pal, which lives in Madison, has since purchased a bicycle from here, so our trip in was well worth it!

In the past, I've taken my bikes here, just for advice and they didn't charge which I really appreciated. As a citizen of the Only Waunakee in the World, I appreciate having a local bike repair option…read more While I have not purchased a bike from Wana Bike, I've used their repair services a number of times for my Trek 7700 and always have been pleased with the outcome. Prices for repairs are competitive with the Madison bike shops. Most recently, when the shifter on my bike was giving my problems, they found a replacement and got my back on the road in less than 24 hours. (Unlike the Trek Store on the West side that was unable to address this same problem, but that is a story for another review). The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. They have made some minor adjustments to my daughter's bike at no charge on several occasions. The owner does seem to be on the phone a lot, so several times when I've dropped in I've had to wait for him to finish his call to get helped.

I…read morehad purchased a fat tire e bike online unknowingly with woefully underpowered brakes for a bike of its size. I had been having to have my brakes adjusted every 2 weeks at various locations that offer bike service on the west side of Madison. The various service departments (3) all told me that my brakes were inadequate but were unable to offer a solution. 2 of them did suggest Crazy Lenny's. They were right about that. Conner found me the perfect cable actuated hydraulic brakes. I already feel a lot safer and they should require a lot less maintenance. Kim in sales helped me schedule to have my bike picked up from a nearby bike shop in the Crazy Lenny's van. I had already arranged to have my brakes fixed; however, I got a flat near another bike shop. I had pushed my bike to the nearby bike shop. The other bike shop has a strict policy of not working on ebike brands that they do not carry and refused to fix my tire. Crazy Lenny's had my bike picked up and ready with brand new brakes installed and the flat fixed within 2 days. It probably would have been sooner if there wasn't a winter storm. I can't thank them enough! It feels like I have a brand new bike. I am pretty sure it rolls smoother than it ever has and certainly stops better. THANK YOU!
