The view from outside was nice. Theresa was was a 30 min wait and there were empty tables inside and out, but I could only see 2 servers total. Shame on management for under staffing. A couple with a child next to us were never attended to and wSited at least 30 minutes then left. I was served red chicken enchiladas when I ordered enchiladas suisas. I waited at the bar patiently I do this thing at Mexican restaurants called the chip timer How long after you sit down do you get chips and salsa Fail never got them Ordered a Bloody Mary and it was flat couldn't taste the alcohol You will find out later in this review I ordered the chicken enchilada special with a hard shell taco The taco was pretty tasty however the chicken in the enchilada tased off hope I don't get sick One thing that really bothered me was watching the manager come from the kitchen make a bulk batch of Bloody Mary's then handle money from the register and go back to making Bloody Mary's without washing his hands As a matter of fact I didn't see any employees hand was or sanitize while I was there Excellent location with plenty of outdoor seating Even with that hard pass read more

Service was great! Bloody Mary was good. I had the Red Chicken Skillet and it was delicious! My wife had the country sausage gravy on biscuits with the links under the gravy. Eggs were cooked perfect over medium both times. First plate the gravy was cold so they did an entire new plate that was awesome! So many places would have just microwaved it and made the biscuits tough and over cooked the eggs. Well done! Had a side of pancakes and all I can say, is in my opinion and my tastes, all the other pancake places in the Quad Cities better look out!!!! First time here and we LOVED lunch on the patio. We started with two jumbo margs that were awesome! I usually steer clear of margs because they're so sugary, but at D'lua they're not over-sugared, which I really appreciate. For lunch I tried a shrimp tostada and a fish taco. The fish taco was good, but the shrimp tostada was great! For Iowa shrimp, it tasted really fresh. Hubby had the Chicken Queso Rice and gave it a 10/10. To top it off the atmosphere and the service were great! We've been looking for a new go-to Mexican restaurant in the QC, and now D'lua in Bettendorf will be it! read more

Took my niece & baby cousin out for dinner & drinks. The margaritas were a little weak for the price mine was frozen & theirs on the rocks. I even added an extra shot to mine... blah. We ordered two of the queso birria tacos, steak tacos with beans & rice. The salsa & chips were OUTSTANDING!!! So, fresh & thick w/a kick but not too spicy. When you walk in they have this gorgeous bar to enjoy a cocktail or margarita or be seated quickly and enjoy a drink at your table. We have been here several times and the food is always great! Love the red burritos! Service is really, REALLY slow. Don't expect to get in and out quickly when they have even a moderate amount of business and Friday or Saturday nights...no comment. I've stood there for more than 20 minutes before to get seated (no idea why I would wait that long)...they just keep saying "we will be right with you". COVID or not, that's bad service! Drive through doesn't know your there (no matter what the sign says), go to the front door and hope there is someone who will help you there, if not go to the bar...usually the look on your face by then will get the bartenders attention and they will help you. Owner really needs to post a phone number that actually works... I will no longer recommend this place, no matter how good the food is, strictly based on service alone. Very disappointed in how I have been treated the last few times I have been in there and will not be back until I hear of some serious changes to service. read more

As I sat down the bartender put a mini Pina colada in front of me - what wouldn't fit into the tall glass of the drink he just fixed. It was delicious! I asked for a suggestion from the menu and he was gracious to provide that. The food was quick to come from the kitchen in spite of a few signs asking for patience as they are short on cooks. I've been there many times now with my wife, kids and grandkids... The breakfast is amazing! Many choices and you can get lunch too if that's what you prefer. The pancakes are fantastic! The kids love the flavored pancakes. I like the goat tacos and there is so much food that I end up eating a good part of the grandkids breakfast. Try the Chorizo omelette. Excellent taste and you will be shocked by the amount of flavorful chorizo Quantity and quality which is why the place gets busy on the weekends!
