I asked for my nails shorter and she went as short as where my nails skin was exposed which she knew not to do. She also filed the square in the worst shape possible. The fact that is it a toss up in service is why I will not be returning. Everyone is really nice , but you nails will not look as you expect. I got liquid gel from this salon. I wanted to find an alternative to acrylic that would still give length. I'm obsessed with how they came out. They didn't file down my nails like you have to with acrylic so it already feels healthier. My nail artist shaped my nails to be perfectly almond and the perfect length. I will say, the hard gel HURTS when you put your nails under the light. After my first pinky stung so bad, they told me to to take my hand out of the light when it begins to hurt and then put back in. Also, the listed price for gel full set was $50. It ended up being $75 total because I got length and shaped the nails. I didn't even get a design just one color. I don't love the lack of transparency with pricing (this is why 4 stars). And some of them do great designs... there's two people there I would trust with my nails, one is the manager/head nail tech/head honcho in charge... and the other is one of the male nail techs that skinny I can't remember his name though! Very disappointed in their services today. First of all, I walked in with almond shaped long nails and they charged me $5 extra for my length and $5 extra for my shape. They did not change the shape or add length to my nails. For the past yr, I've been going to the nail salon and each time I go I always see new nail techs and charged different prices. I needed a quick gel manicure and a pedicure because I was going out of town the next day. They were able to squeeze me in at the end of the day. They have an efficient check in system which is great and the staff is pretty friendly. There are an abundance of nail colors to choose from and add ons too. I was there for a little over an hour. I felt a bit rushed towards the end, I guess because it was the end of the day. I also got my eyebrows waxed. It says you need an appointment but I don't know if they enforce that rule all the time. Very happy with my service today. Everyone was very friendly and the salon is super clean. My technician, Lynn, did a great job. I needed a fill and a pedicure- she did the pedicure in a reasonable amount of time and paid close attention to all the details as we went along. Each step of my fill she checked to see if I was happy. She got my shape exactly as I wanted it and perfectly sculpted my nails. They have every finish and design option I could want. I went here for a walk In 3 days ago and she seem like she didn't really want to help me when I asked if they had time for a walk In appointment only took her about 30 min from start to finish for a pedicure. when I was picking colors I asked if they have glow in the dark polish and the lady said yes. she claimed it was 48$ so I picked from a ring of colors that was presented as glow in the dark polish. as she's doing my feet she's moving extremely fast as if it was a line of people waiting. And it wasn't ! didn't clean all the dead askin off my feet or get under the nails to insure all ingrown nails were out. she painted 4 coats of the polish and it is already pealing off I asked for her to not make it so thick because I knew the gel peels off when applied to thick. also the glow in the dark that I requested and paid for is not glowing at all watch these people if u do decide to go here they will just rush you out and not service u properly. take the advice from all the other reviews, don't go here unless you have time to watch over they every move doing your nails. They just take your money and rush you out! She had a attitude after every question I asked ,Service was so bad I didn't even get my hands done but I still tipped her for a bad service just because she was nasty to me doesn't mean I was nasty back . My nails turned out fantastic, but the pricing was not good. I paid $78 for a refill with hard gel. There were upcharges for literally everything. The shape I can understand, but charging for cutting them down the smallest bit is ridiculous. This was my first time here and if I had known that I would be paying $78 I would have left. As a college student, I cannot justify spending this much for nails. I looked at the base price for the refill and it was reasonable ($50), I never expected it to be this high in the end. Although my nails and feet turned out okay. The woman who did them wasn't consistent with applying produts and massaging. What I mean by that is that one arm, hand and foot was massaged better and longer than the other/ had more or less product applied to it! I also felt like she was rushing to service me.(She also didn't even out the shape of my 2 big toes. So that they were identical.) Which I couldn't understand because they weren't packed! And even if they were, that not an excuse to shorthand a customer! She also kept slapping away my fingers as she was going over each one which I personally feel is very rude and annoying to say the least. And she didn't scrub my feet smooth. Which is saying a lot seeing as how there was barely any roughness to them! This was my first time coming, and it might be my last. I never write reviews however, the incident that I encounter at the D'luxe nails was extremely inappropriate as a paying customer to encounter. I went to the D'luxe Nails to get full set acrylic nails. I specifically expressed to my nail technician before she applied acrylic powder on my nails that I would like a thin layer of the acrylic powder applied. I even explained to her why I prefer a thin layer application since I want a more natural look and a lighter feeling to my hands. The nail technician completely ignored my request and continued to argue with me that she basically going to apply the acrylic powder the way she desired. During the entire service the nail tech had a disgusting attitude and was extremely rude and continued to laugh and talk in their language which was unprofessional. Stay clear of this place as there is clear racial discrimination this is happening and I am just one of many victims. read more
