They have the best gyros and gyro salads!! But the ice cream is WAY overpriced and the quality has gone WAY down. We spent $25 on two dishes (one full sized and one a one scoop mini)! I was floored. Also the ice cream had crystals, they were out of butter pecan, and the hot fudge was more like Hersheys syrup. We will be skipping the ice cream in the future. We could have bought 4 or 5 tubs of ice cream at the grocery store and made a better sundaes at home! read more

It's ok. The staff is pretty friendly. Not the best on communication, though. The fried mushrooms are pretty good. Only ranch dip for them. No Ancho Ranch. I do like the fact they do not boil their hot dogs. The chocolate shake was delicious. They have a kids menu for kids here. That is a plus. read more

This restaurant has completely lost me. I always considered the Battle Creek (& the West Main in Kalamazoo) restaurants as the places to go to get good gyros. But recently, the owners seem to be making some choices about food quality that have led to perfectly tasteless gyros. The pita and meat, by themselves, have little or no flavor. But the dealbreaker is that the tzatziki sauce is no longer a yogurt base with sliced cucumbers but sour cream with some dried herbs mixed in. Very disappointing. read more

Great food for great prices! It is impossible to leave here hungry. I usually get the Gyros supreme, and I can only finish it in one sitting about half the time. Menu has a good selection of gyros, Greek specialties and sandwiches/burgers. Always clean and the service is friendly and speedy. We walked in an hour before closing which was 8pm on a Friday. Everyone who was working was super nice and welcoming. But for the prices and the quality of the ice cream I think that family fare ice cream in the carton has them beat. I got the junior hot fudge brownie sundae and the hot fudge had a weird coffee based taste and the brownie was basically a Debby snack cosmic brownie served in a dollar store plastic ice cream container. A good return to an old favorite restaurant. D'nicio's has a good mix of Greek and American cafe fare. The wait staff is a little overwhelmed at dinner (around 6pm), but they were still fast (even though our waitress was a little forgetful of us). The food was very good. The gyros and burger we got were excellent. The banana split for dessert was amazingly awesome. I highly recommend D'nicio's for everyone to try at least once! We heard great things about this place before our visit. It lived up to the hype! The food was amazing, best gyro sandwich I've ever had! To wrap up the meal I had the junior brownie sundae, the vanilla ice cream and hot fudge was top notch and the brownie was thick and tasty. Had a very nice old fashion family dinner vibe. This place used to be one of my favorites when it was on Beckley Rd. Not exactly sure what it is, but the food at this new location is just not the same. Ordered Athena (Take-out) today....the meat was dry and overcooked. I appreciate that they have improved the lettuce mix from just iceberg to a mix with Romaine. The salad was very short on Feta which is the best part. Just hope the quality doesn't go any further downhill which the prices keep rising. read more

This is one of the worst places in Battle Creek for customer service. The Hispanic waitresses are lazy as hell. They sit around on their asses while the other busy their asses. They also won't help you unless you are their customer. Calling a pick up order is a joke as they will leave you on hold forever. read more
