Fast forward to dropping the proverbial hammer, I did the business, paid the $$, and finally - took forEVAh, emotionally speaking (just about 3-4 weeks IRL) - My drum kit arrived in CA. And here's where My magical day manifested. The Drumming Section Guy - Dewayne, the human being in the pics with the super cool hair - assembled the million drum parts while answering all of My newbie drummer questions. And while I was completely engaged & distracted, AllofaSuddenouttaNowhere My new Drum Baby was born! It really felt like Xmas morning, I was sooo, soo excited I almost peed Myself loll. Dewayne educated Me mostly enough that I was able to reassemble 87% of My drum kit at home; if I had to wrestle with that huge box We started with, I'm positive I would have been too overwelmed, given up, and sadly returned it... but That's Not How This Story Ended. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Guitar Center. The packaging appeared to have been opened, and the item showed signs of previous use. When customers pay for new equipment, they expect to receive exactly what was advertised. Receiving a used item instead is unacceptable and reflects poor quality control. This experience has made me question Guitar Center's commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope Guitar Center takes responsibility for this issue and improves its processes to ensure other customers do not have the same experience. I suggest is that you check everything before you leave the store make sure you're getting what you paid for!

He asked what I needed, and I explained that my acoustic guitar had a broken peg tuner. I already had the replacement part with me, so I handed it over. Instead of jumping straight into recommendations or upselling, he immediately tried to fix it on the spot. Once he confirmed it was repairable, he quickly cut the string, replaced the tuner, and got everything back in place. The whole process took less than 10 minutes! I live in Carson, so driving out to Lakewood and getting it fixed the same day was such a relief. This guitar isn't for professional use--it's for my daughter who's just starting to learn--so having it ready right away saved me a lot of time and hassle. He even tuned it by ear in seconds, which was really impressive. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. I really appreciated the quick, no-nonsense service and would definitely come back again for future repairs!

I spoke with him last week and made a lesson for today at 11:30am. I got there 10 mins early and he was not there and the business was closed. I sent Xaiver a text at 11:26 am and received no response. Then I called him at 11:30 am and left him a message. I never got a phone call back, even though his VM says that he promises to return calls. I waited some more and finally left. I never received a call back. What a waste of time and what a poor way to manage your business and treat customers. My daughter was heart broken because she was excited for the lesson. I do not recommend GLS for any lesson.

Yikes! I was referred to this place by friends so I figured if they trust this place so can I. I…read morebrought two flutes in for everything to be done. I told the lady in the front when I dropped it off that I wanted them cleaned, pads changed, and whatever else that needed to be done. They quoted me a week's work. Today I picked up my instruments all excited to see two shiny flutes with new pads and the whole shebang. No! I asked the lady about it and she said it was not noted. I literally told them I wanted everything done and for whatever else that needs to be done. Money is not an issue! It's like dropping your car off to get washed, oil change, brake changed and when you go pick your car up they're like here's your car. It's in working order. If cleaning and polish is not a part of the regular maintenance then offer that as a service add on! Ridiculous!
