He paid the $180, got it out of there and took it to Zellers where they looked at it right away. Ends up only a hose clamp was broken. Just letting you know that Raben is not looking out for the welfare of its customers, they overcharge, are understaffed and are more interested in selling products than fixing your car.

The customer service, the care for customers, and the overall quality of service are not what they used to be. In the last six months, I have taken both my car and my wife's car there. Neither left with the issues resolved. My car is older, and Quality Automotive had always done a great job keeping it in good shape until now. It is disappointing to see that change. My wife usually takes her car to the dealership, but this time I encouraged her to use my trusted shop because I believed they would do a great job. I was wrong. They told her that their computer could not determine why the car was having acceleration issues. Later, they suggested a repair at one price but when my wife agreed and said, "If that will fix it, let's do it," they doubled the quoted price, claiming the original estimate was incorrect. That felt very dishonest, almost like a bait-and-switch tactic. As a result, we decided to take the car home. To make matters worse, the young man at the counter essentially called my wife a liar, even though she had the written estimate. They did refund the cost of her oil change, but that did not solve the problem. Whether the repair cost $300 or $600, our goal was to get the car fixed. That is why we brought it to a mechanic in the first place. Sadly, it seems like many shops today simply hook up a computer and wait for it to tell them what to do. I never thought I would say this, but I do not know if I will return to Quality Automotive. It is hard to find a repair shop you can trust, and it feels like the "quality" in Quality Automotive has disappeared. I hope they can turn things around and regain the level of service and trust they once had.

I need my brakes done $895, that the brakes were so bad that the tab was gone. They told me I didn't have any leaks. After leaving and parking it for 2 days, I noticed I had oil spots on the driveway. I took it to a mechanic that I trust, to make sure everything was fine. They told me that everything was fine and that the oil cap was leaking oil (last touched by Best One). I have complained to Best One about oily fingerprints on my car, among other things. They also forgot to mention my oil change was going to be 4x more than my last oil change. They told me I had to pay $80. I asked if there were any discounts because I thought it was going to be $19.99, like the last several oil changes that I had. They lie. Don't trust them! I'm glad I found someone I can trust and won't rip me off!
