Frida Kahlo must be in heaven wishing she could get royalties every time anyone uses her image to elevate their cool factor.....so I've heard about this place left and right and I'm a firm believer things look so much more appealing when the marketing is on point, which is exactly how I feel about this place. To start tacos are expensive, they look good but 3 tacos is about 10 bucks plus taxes. My burrito was 8.99 and it was the size of a johnnys burrito, you could totally go to lettys casita and get a bomb burrito for the same price twice the size with a lot better service . The service was kinda bad we had one waitress who was nice but so over whelmed with a huge table of military guys she hardly followed up with us, then the girl who was occasionally asking us if we needed help looked annoyed as hell with everything and everyone was rolling her eyes left and right . After we finished it took about 15 minutes to get our check. Don't get me wrong my burrito was good but the waitressing staff need to be retrained or let go it really was ehhhh. read more

Everything was delicious!! We all got tacos and they were amazing! The carne asada was perfect and the variety of salsas and toppings was splendid. The decor is cute and the interior is clean. Such a hip ambiance with classic Mexican "street" fare and more contemporary dishes that they have concocted. I went a few weeks ago so I can't remember exactly what we ordered, but the food was delicious! And on the multita you could tell the corn tortillas were made fresh in house. I eaten at a lot of taquerias and basically I was not impressed maybe it was just the day I went but everything was not what it should have been. I had the shrimp, skirt steak, machaca tacos, and only the machaca was good. I still have hope for this place so I might return one more time just to make sure. read more

Came here and ordered a few Quesadillas some fries, beans, and a Jamaica Agua Fresca. The drink was great and it came in a mason looking glass with handles, giving it a very hipster type of feel. The decor is cool and the music was too. The service wasn't as cool. The waiter brought out the Quesadillas and one of them was not what I had ordered, I mentioned the mix up to him and asked him to bring me the correct "Rajas Quesadilla" I had ordered and he looked me in the eyes and said okay. After a few minutes my Quesadilla came out and it happened to be the wrong one again, I decided to just eat it even though he got it wrong twice. Great tacos and the best carne asada fries. The location is great and the interior design is beautiful. This restaurant not only serves great Mexican food in a modern way, but it really highlights and honors Mexican culture with their decor and most importantly, their customer service. I have only been here twice, but will be returning soon. It's a great place for a lunch break, group of friends or a date night. Very versatile place. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I walked in tonight on a Friday night there was only one more table available as I was walking in with my service dog they asked to see certification for my dog which is ILLEGAL. I stood there looking for her certificate through my phone as the host sat the people behind me at the last table. I literally felt so embarrassed I walked away crying. Being 6 months pregnant made me feel even more upset. She didn't even give me a chance to show her so I could have the table. I can't believe the audacity they had to treat me that way. I called and asked for the owners name so I can put a complaint to the city and the Better Business Bureau, and best believe I'm gonna file a claim with the courts. I hope this never happens to anyone again, very unprofessional. My service animal wasn't causing any disruption. read more

We visited this new taco place for the first time to see what the hype was about. First of all the tables are too close together(crowded)my friend and I couldn't even carry a conversation because we were so close(no privacy). We had to wait about 10 mins to be asked what our order for drinks & food were. I can say the food was ok. The environment was so crowded that I didn't even have a place to put my purse so I had to hold it in my lap. And the hostess was kinda rude when she sat us down.
