The meat is good the tacos are good and they have all kinds of salsas they give you with Chile Gueros and onions, radishes and all that! Definitely recommend! Food was good but the service was terrible. More than 40 minutes to get served and the four tables that came after us were served and one left before we even got our food. When we asked the server (who is also the manager) what the holdup was, she said it was the kitchen's fault but failed to look into it or bother to apologize. We were only a table for four so it wasn't the number in our group. One order also had to be sent back as it was not served as requested. Women's bathroom was dirty with overflowing paper towels and diapers and no seat covers at all. It had clearly not been checked in a very long while. The restaurant was only at half to three quarters capacity so it wasn't that. By far the worst service I've received in a while and it will be a long time before I return. read more

I have been here a few times. The food is ok a bit pricey. Unfortunately,​​ they don't​ inform you that your drink refills are at an additional cost. I ended up paying more than $10 just on refills. It is in poor taste not to inform our clients of such additional charges. Overall​ it is not bad but not my first choice. read more

Just tried this taco grill in the valley called D'Poly in El Centro and let me tell you it was tasty and fresh! Excellent customer services with aramdo and cassi! Where do I even start...Waited for almost 20 minutes until we had to walk out of how surprisingly upset we were at the horrible service. They completely ignored us, never offered us a drink, other parties that got there after we had been waiting for so long had been attended. The wait staff maid eye contact with us many times and just completely ignored us and ignored the fact that we had yet to be attended to. There was like 3 wait staff in the back just talking doing nothing and one cleaning the windows and here we had been waiting for 20 minutes with not even a drink being offered to us. We've been to many restaurants from L.A., Las Vegas, San Diego, Cabo and we have never had an experience this horrendous. Will never come back to this place. read more

The food is 4 1/2 stars but the service gets 2 stars and that's being nice. I took my mother the other day, when we walked in we got a spot by the window, the waitress came over handed us menus and told me I can't help you right now I have to help the other table I'll be back, um ok. Then about 10 min later she came and took our order. About 10 min after that she comes walking out of the back straight to us and starts handing me a plate then snatched it back and says sorry girl this isn't yours and took it to the table behind us. Um wtf. Our actual food comes we made it through the whole meal and she never checked up on us once. Once we were done I kept looking over at her to get her attention but she was too busy talking, then finally looks over and says "y'all good" I mean I get it pretty girls bring business but it's the bad attitudes that drive it away. read more

If you don't want to spend time waiting to cross at the border then come to D'Poly! I recently tried it last week and I have gone back twice for to go orders and with my mother, who loved it as well. D'Poly is a restaurant Mexican restaurant. It has a very different vibe than other restaurants because of it's modern and hip vibe. If you are craving Mexicali food but don't want to cross the border and wait in those lines forever or sit down in a restaurant and get a big meal , than this is the place. They have mostly all tacos you love to eat fish, steak, pastor, and others. I have tried the California burrito and the lineman. The California you know comes with steak, fries, as well as condemns. Now the lineman was new for me with steak, shrimp, special sauce and Mexican veggies and let me tell you it was so good . It tasted fresh as well as the fresh salsas, cucumbers,radishes, limes, as well as more fresh ingredients to make your taco , burrito, or whatever you are eating taste good. The staff are very kind and friendly and are always ready to serve you some good food or drinks. They have a variety of Mexican flavored waters and mix drinks and imported as well as domestic beers. I went there with a a buddy after lunch. the place was still packed. the service is a bit confusing, we didn't know if we sat ourselves or to wait for a server/hostess. Good thing we didn't have to wait long and were seated fairly soon. I went to go wash up and the mes room was bad, it smelled like a grease trap, paper towel dispenser was empty. had to dry my hands on my pants. we placed our orders, my friend was very pleased with the chili relleno plate and he told me he would ordered again. I got the sopes and a carna asada taco. the sope was outstanding (al pastor). I ordered the taco with a corn tortilla and got a flour tortilla instead. the meat had to much gristle for my taste but the sope was very and I would order again next time i come there. they have a full bar and the chavelas look great, I don't care for them but my wife does and I will bring here just for them read more

Mixeed experiences. Got carnitas tacos 3 times 1 delicious, once so so and 1 time really old meat. Last time i went i ordered 3 arracherra quesadillas. The meat was delicious but i ordered to go and they made the quesadillas on corn tortillas! Who does that? I payed $15 and was still hungry! It wasnt a mula with stacked corn tortillas, it was a single folded corn tortilla that they called a quesadilla. Dont get burned, im still feeling it. read more

I've come here multiple times now and I'd give the service a 1 star and the food and experience 5 STARS!!! You can tell the waitresses are really new at what they do. But quite honestly there should always be someone at the door greeting customers and acknowledging them as soon as they walk in. A simple "hello we'll be right with you" "hello, our tables are currently full right now and the wait will be about 10 minutes." would have been much more appreciated than being ignored the whole time while we waited. It's not very customer friendly to just pass us during dinner either. A waitress should check up on a table 3 times, to make sure everything is good and in order. I asked for water twice and it was never delivered to me, I asked another waitress for it and I was ignored..our waitress barely stopped once. They should also take an order by starting off with "hello my name is ___ I'll be your server today, can I get you started with drinks? They should not just stand there with a pen in their hand waiting for their customers to talk first. Another suggestion is it's very polite since this is a new start up business to thank your customers before they leave or as a waitress brings a check !!! "Thank you guys for coming in today, hope you liked the place and come back soon" big tips!!!!! Being polite and customer service oriented goes a long way!!!!!!!!!!
