I purchased a new DR Horton home last year and couldnt have been more happy. From sales to the end of my 1-year warranty it has been such an smooth and easy process. Literally ZERO issues. I am referring my friend to buy a home from them too! Everyone is so friendly and will explain everything with much detail so you know what is going on. Ladies in the office are so sweet especially Pam she will bend over backwards for you! My warranty rep, Taylor, was also so knowledgeable and helped me set up the one year touch up flawlessly. I strongly recommend you check out one of their many communities in the Las Vegas Valley.

Buyer beware. My DR Horton home is 5 years old and has cracks in foundation, major cracks in walls and both the ceiling and floor are separating from the walls. Yet DR HOrtons extended warranty company doesn't believe it's damaged enough and DR Horton isn't stepping up either.

    Missing Easement Cover

I have lived in my DR Horton home for a little more than a year, and during the first year customer service and the response was great. I was one of the first homes in the community and the first of my model built in the city. There was a design flaw that left a cutout in one of the easements that provides a perfect nest for pigeons. The company is aware of the issue because on the very next built model of my home it is corrected. When asking them to correct this issue on my home they told me the home was built to plan. Essentially a polite F off. I would avoid this builder.

What a terrible experience this has been. Bought a model home in Colorado Springs, the builder chose a quick closing date and assured us that everything would be ready and good to go prior to closing. Our inspector came and found multiple issues which DR Horton assured us again that they are aware of three issues everything would be fixed prior to closing. 3 days before closing we still didn't have garage doors and 80% of the items that came on the inspection report were still not fixed. Again, DR Horton assured us everything would be fixed. Now, almost 3 months after closing these items are still not fixed and we were told to just submit a warranty claim (for stuff that was supposed to be fixed prior to closing). Warranty person came over a month ago to look at the items that were not done from the inspection. A month later I follow up and was told she was working on it right now?!... But only was able to schedule some items to get fixed as of right now and will work on the rest. So here is a picture of the front of the house- a "model home" Showing missing rocks on the front of the house, broken trim around the garage (from removing their sales windows and not fixing it after...)

Terrible. Never get a DR Horton home. Massive issues, cheap materials (with premium price tag), poor craftsmanship.

He was always a quick message away and his effort and dedication was evident from the beginning. He helped with multiple issues that came up including negotiations and repairs. But most importantly, he was honest and considered my best interest in the decisions he recommended, which the other reviews here will also attest to. I actually found Shane through Yelp and am very happy that I made contact. I know who I'm going to the next time I have a real estate-related issue.

I was amazed how quickly he was able to get both transactions completed. The condo was listed at the end of January and in a couple of days we had a firm buyer. This was in a building that had similiar properties that were on the market for weeks or months. Ours was in contract in a few days and closed 3 weeks later. It was the fastest sale of a property that I've personally experienced in my life. Once we had a buyer, Shane focused on helping us negotiate buying another investment property. We found a house in Henderson. The house had just been listed and by the time we were able to get an appointment to tour the house (Feb 10) there were 4 or 5 other interested parties. We liked the house and Shane advised us what to bid. Then we waited, but Shane was working behind the scenes negotiating with the seller's agent. With his skills, he was able to get the seller's agent to accept our bid over the others. It didn't stop there. Once we got the appraisal and inspection reports, Shane was able to get the seller to agree to the lower appraisal amount, saving us thousands off the asking price. We closed escrow about a month after our initial tour of the house. Shane coordinated and negotiated everything for us. Even worked with the lender that I had chosen. He certainly made both transactions go smoothly. We wouldn't think of working with a different agent when we're ready to buy/sell property.

I was referred to Limestone Investments by Leavitt Eviction Services (they're 10 stars as well), and hiring Jim as my property manager was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I had a very difficult tenant situation. Jim handled everything -- the filings, the court process, the heavy lifting -- and I'm in the legal field, so I know how much work that truly is. He made being a landlord easy. After the eviction, Jim's crew stepped in and transformed the property. They repaired everything, installed new floors, repainted, and cleaned the yard better than I've ever seen it. Absolutely amazing work. Through the entire process, I felt 110% supported. Jim is knowledgeable, efficient, fair, and genuinely cares. He's also funny, which helps lighten the load when things get stressful. He's a respected veteran, an integral part of the Vegas Valley, and he doesn't waste time -- he simply gets things done. His team was outstanding as well. They investigated issues, collected evidence, stayed in constant communication, and made sure I always knew what was happening. Thank you, Jim, for getting me out of a tough situation that I got myself into by trusting the wrong tenant. You helped me turn it around, and now I have a wonderful tenant that you found for me. You told me the good, the bad, and the ugly about the market -- and you were right. Listen to him. He knows. Limestone Investments is a well-rounded, trustworthy real estate service you can bet on. I'm grateful, relieved, and will use them again without hesitation.

It was the first time my family had to sell a house and we live in the Bay Area, California so we needed a trusted realtor who would work well with us remotely. We searched online and even got referrals from friends, but after speaking with multiple agents, we realized that Allison was the person we wanted to work with. We found her on Yelp, read her reviews, did some research, and decided to give her a call. Allison made us feel comfortable from the beginning and guided us well throughout the entire selling process. She has good people skills and is very knowledgeable. When we initially called her, she listened to our family's situation and the challenges we had before she offered her services and explained how she could help. When we met in person, she educated us on the local housing market and provided strategies on how we could sell the house. She told us all the things that needed to be done to get the house market-ready. During the negotiation phase with buyers, she educated us more and helped us make smart counter offers. We felt really at-ease and confident the entire time we worked with her, and at the end we were able to sell my aunt's house quickly and at the price we wanted. Working with Allison remotely was great. We flew to Las Vegas only once to meet her and the rest of our communication were through phone calls, texts, and emails. Allison was able to oversee the house and handled most of the things that needed to be done like getting the vendors over to do certain renovations and making sure their quality of work was good. This helped us a lot because we didn't need to travel back and forth to Las Vegas to do these things. In addition, she was accommodating to our busy schedule and was responsive, which was important to us. She was quick to get back to us whenever we needed to get a hold of her and she updated us frequently. One particular thing we really liked about Allison is that she's very resourceful. She had trusted vendors for all the things we needed to do for the house to get it market-ready. She had contacts for painters, cleaners, handymen, roofers, photographers, and so forth. Already grieving and feeling stressed from my aunt's passing and having to arrange her funeral, we were glad that we didn't have to research much to find these vendors because she already knew people that we could call. Ultimately, we were happy with all the services we received from Allison and we would work with her again if the opportunity arises.

We are remote landlords, and this was our second time working with Allison to sell a rental property in Las Vegas. The first sale took place in spring 2022 when the housing market was very strong. However, when we decided to sell our last rental condo in early October 2025, the timing was much more challenging. We had to list during the holiday season in a much weaker market, and the condo was bit older. Despite these challenges, Allison guided us through every step of the process with professionalism, exceptional market knowledge, extensive experience, tireless dedication, and great care. From the very beginning in early October, Allison visited our condo to have a thorough initial inspection. She provided excellent advice and practical suggestions for repairs and remodeling before listing. After the kitchen remodel and other updates, the condo looked more modern and attractive. Allison and Erin also did a beautiful staging and arranged high-quality professional photography and a 3D tour, ensuring the property was presented at its best. With detailed market research and a smart marketing strategy, Allison helped generate multiple offers within just days of listing, effectively creating a seller's market for our condo even in a difficult market. After the buyer's inspection, Allison continued to support us by referring reliable, honest contractors who completed repairs at very reasonable prices, making the process much less stressful for us as out-of-town owners. We also experienced a longer escrow period due to reason beyond our control. Throughout this time, Allison advised us to remain patient, kept us well informed, and confidently guided us through the process. Since we were not local, Allison went above and beyond, handling many additional tasks on our behalf to ensure everything stayed on track. Despite the tough market conditions, we successfully sold our condo at a price we were very happy with. We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience or more outstanding service from Allison and Erin. Allison has exceptional knowledge, skills, and experience, and most importantly, she genuinely cares about her clients. We highly recommend Allison to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Las Vegas. You will be very happy to have Allison as your agent!

The kicker was that the back door has been broken for 2 months forcing me to sleep with a weapon for safety. The drip line is no longer broken only because after telling the owner of the landscaping business x2 that it was broken, I went and found a Spanish speaker to relay the issue to the crew that comes weekly. Myself or family have put things in the portal for maintenance but they never get fixed but marked "completed" with no follow up. You call, no answer or call back. You have to go in person or email someone personally to *maybe* get a response. Previous tenant lawyered up for all the same issues I have reported above. Michael the owner has not responded to texts or emails for a meeting, Terri the office manager is not resolving any issues in a timely manner and has not been able to set up a meeting, Sylvia over maintenance never closes the loop to make sure maintenance items are fixed or what is in process, maintenance man/ lawn crew owner Chris rarely fixes anything that he says even though he claims to be "a friend of the owner". If he keeps his own personal house this way that he rents for $6500 a month, I'd hate to see what he does to the people who rent for $800 a month. Definitely NOT worth the money and an unsafe property. Advice for any one dealing with this company: record every conversation, save every email and text message, take pictures of EVERYTHING.
