They leave them in a building alone for a minimum of 12 hours a day and only allow 2 hour pickup window on Sunday to get an extra night on the customers bill. This place is awful for the animals. Bev and her staff are outstanding. She knows the dogs names and their personalities and is always eager to see them. If you are going to board your pet must be current on all vaccinations and you will need your vet to vouch if you don't have paperwork. You'll need to take whatever your pet needs to make him happy. Pillows chew toys special diet food and meds. Waggin Tails has some of the best groomers in the area, by appointment only. Waggin Tails has been around for a long time, with their own kennels. Your dog will have access to outside and they walk them daily. Don't settle for less when you can have the best WAGGIN TAILS

A neighbor recommended Middletown Animal Clinic and it was like 'coming home.' Dr. Stephanie and Dr. McReynolds give top-notch care with utmost compassion. The receptionist is so caring and works hard to keep things moving. When back-ups occur, she is quick to apprise those who are waiting about the situation in a courteous and kind manner. The vet techs/assistants are just as caring and compassionate as the docs. The office is small, with no actual waiting area, so you phone them from your car and wait to be called inside. The exam rooms (entire building) are older and in dire need of updating (dated wallpaper, flooring, dusty and cluttered shelving), but newer equipment is present. I feel the place could use a deep cleaning and some cosmetic changes. However, what the office lacks in appearance, it more than makes up for with compassionate, knowledgeable veterinarians and staff. I will take that trade off any day! The office is located on Main Street in the heart of 'Historic Middletown.' There are 6-7 parking spaces in the front of the building, but street parking is also available up and down the street.

You simply park and call the receptionist. She stays in contact with you to let you know when a room is ready. The facility is in need of remodeling and updating but I'll give them a 'pass' in lieu of the superb treatment.
