Food is great especially the sides. The baked beans and loaded potato salad are wonderful. Do not forget the banana pudding.

Horrendous customer service when attempting to book catering for 60 people. It took 4 attempts,…read morebeginning with filling out their website order form, phone calls, and an attempt at a personal visit, to gain any traction with the order. The person in charge of catering, the owner's wife, was at first unavailable and then dismissive and seemed totally uninterested in my business. One of the employees did her best to help. When I emailed to cancel the order because it was as "fun as banging my head against the wall." She replied "likewise." Extremely poor customer relations - we will never go back and never recommend.

Really good Q in downtown Dickson. I had a plate with the pulled pork and Brisket. The brisket was…read morejuicy and full of flavor, the pulled pork was a little dry, but still flavorful. They have two types of barbecue sauce, mild and hot. I felt that the hot was too spicy and mild was fine, but both didn't really have the best flavor profiles and I also prefer a thicker sauce as these sauces were very thin. The baked beans were excellent and the star of the show. I also had the potato salad, which was very good. I would highly recommend NOT sitting at the outside tables like we did. The road noise was ridiculous! It seems that every other car had an exhaust that was obnoxiously loud and deafening to the point where you couldn't hear the person across the table from you.

Every meal tasted fresh, and the service was always friendly and welcoming. I'm so sad they closed because it's one of those restaurants that's really hard to replace. They will definitely be missed!

Summary: Fast food variations on chicken with sides of Southern comfort foods…read more An off night. That's what I think we had after reading the other reviews. Stopping here for supper, first there were the dark bathrooms that wouldn't light. Along with that electrical issue, an ear-splitting and head jarring smoke or other alarm went off every few minutes for about 15 minutes. Order taking was interrupted often when the counter employee shifted to incoming phone calls. That employee didn't know pulled chicken portion sizes in ounces and approximated with his hands. All of this created a dubious dining experience before we even finished ordering! This spot offers a variety of chicken recipes: roasted, BBQ, Caribbean, pulled, fried, and more. Sides includes Southern standards like mac and cheese, yellow rice, greens, coleslaw, and others. The pulled (shredded) chicken was overly seasoned with black pepper. Roasted chicken was a bit dry. The BBQ chicken laden with sweet sauce was the best of the chicken choices. Creamy coleslaw was 'meh' and lacked flavor. Rice, too, was just okay. Northern beans were nicely seasoned and well cooked. Pita triangles seemed an odd accompaniment since no sauce or dip was provided and they were too small to make sandwiches. Overall, the restaurant seemed understaffed, which could account for the messy tables and dirty floor.
