The best korean food I've found so far in middle TN. It's a cute little restaurant that has regular dining off the menu on one side and grill tables on the other for KBBQ. We ordered some dishes off the menu and none of them disappointed! Bulgogi- Tender, great flavor and a great dish to get introduced to Korean food. My toddler loved it. Kimchi Jjigae- Made the traditional way! Ojinguh Bokkeum- Spicy stir fry calamari. I've been craving this and they make it the way my mom does! Overall, the food was on point for flavor and authenticity of homemade kfood I grew up on. The staff were so sweet and made lunch with our toddler go smoothly. This is a really small establishment that is splits the seating with cook yourself BBQ and full service/traditional. It was okay from an ambiance perspective. Definitely low budget in that regard. The service was totally lacking but that was due to what seemed like a shortage of staff not lazy staff. I got the impression that the staff were doing their absolute best with the tools they had to work with. The food was okay. I have had better and I have had worse when it comes to Korean food. Stopped in while in Clarksville because my niece wanted Korean and happened to pass by. Walked in and small establishment with friendly greeters/waitress. Placed the order and proceeded to order the free appetizer for checking in on Yelp. The greeter/waitress said she'd need to speak to the owner since she was unaware of the special. He was out so I waited since I was waiting for my niece's food. When he came back, she said the owner was unaware of the Yelp check-in appetizer and they would not honor the coupon. I asked to speak to the owner. He came out and was friendly but said he never authorized a coupon deal on Yelp and it was a scam. Umm sir, it is not a "scam" but a coupon for checking in. I don't know how or why he's restaurant was included but he refused to honor it and said he'd call Yelp to have it removed. So the food... I did a to go order of jjam pong and asked for the noodles to be separated since I had an hour drive. They accommodated the request and provided an extra kimchi. (My niece loves kimchi)! When she ate her order she said the taste was just okay and the noodles were over cooked. She thought it may have tasted better if she was able to order in. Came here for dinner with our pups which they have a patio area perfect for them. Ordered the Kimchi JJige, which comes in a hot stone bowl. The waitressrecommended it. It is a traditional Korean stew, spicy and full of flavor. What is awesome about Korean food is their mini appetizer dishes that it comes with. The Yaki Mandu, kind of like beef dumplings, were fried and delicious. Our server checked in on us often and got us extra sides of the picked cucumbers. Overall, the prices were decent, the flavor of the food was great, we loved the mini side dishes and the customer service was good, we will be coming back to try different things on the menu. read more

They have "All you can Eat" KBBQ (and they are generous with their servings!) It makes me realize lunch here is a nightmare especially when it is busy. Dinner on a Sunday (when no one was there) was perfect and one of the best restaurant and server experiences in Clarksville. So consider the day you come to this place. Servers make a big difference too! I went with two colleagues to eat lunch here. We waited 48 minutes for our food. The server was polite but she seem to forget about us. Other people that came after us were served before us! We had to get our food to go, since we had to rush back for a class. When I asked her why our food was so late, she claimed there were only two cooks and they were slammed. I have worked in the restaurant industry and did not think her statement was accurate. I think she forgot to put our order in and got distracted by her other customers. If this had happened at restaurants I worked in (being very late to provide the food, etc), our bills would be taken care of 100% or a discount provided. We just got an apology and a flimsy excuse. This is the worst review I have ever written about a restaurant in Clarksville. To make things worse, the food was awful! The ramen I ordered had turned into a thick gelatinous substance. We just moved to Clarksville and tried this place out. I'm honestly not really sure what to think about this place, but we simply decided not to go back again. We decided this because of the seafood(specifically the shrimp)we were served. I ordered a spicy ramen and added shrimp-no where did this say popcorn shrimp or breaded shrimp but it was breaded. 4 pieces of breaded shrimp. In ramen broth. The breading was so soggy that I couldn't even bite into the shrimp to separate the tail. Again, breaded shrimp with the tail attached..in broth. What??!!! This is my go to restaurant. Through COVID-19, they have continued to provide amazing service, delicious and beautifully presented food even through their take-out process. It was delicious when we were able to eat inside, amazing when we had to take it out and now that they are allowing customers inside again, their protocols are in place showing they care about customers. Visited this spot near APSU for the first time about a week ago for lunch. We were seated promptly and were met with a server pretty quickly as well. There's an increase in more authentic style Korean places here in town and I heard this one was pretty good. I ordered a ramen dish (which arrived quickly) with some ground up chicken. I had been craving some ramen for a bit and would even have settled for a pack of the stuff I could make for myself from the grocery store. I loved this place because of the ramen soup. I absolutely loved the Ramen soup, it allows you to add cheese and vegetable dumplings. Absolutely, loved the authentic South Korean environment. There is outdoor sitting. The waitress we had was Jainne, she is very friendly, informative and fluent in Korean. They also sold soju and had a special soju drink. Sometimes for vegetarians it is hard to find meat free items in Korean restaurants and thats why I always go for the ramen soup, so it was easy to eat just veggies for my meal. Pros: JibBop is one of my favorite places for a quick and filling lunch now! They have changed the menu a little since my original rating, and now at lunchtime feature "cups" (to go) or bowls that are a great value and tasty. The lunch specials don't come with a side but you can order banchan for fifty cents a dish. I've had a few I've never had anywhere else (but I'm no banchan conesseuir). The bulgogi is so tender. Update: He just got home and the food is the totally wrong order. We are so disappointed. I hate to leave a bad review on this place but after my husband's poor service tonight I think they should know that something is going wrong with their online platform and customer service. We ordered pickup for 2 small entrees online. He came at the right time to pick them up (20 minutes or so after ordering) and they said it would be just a few more minutes. No problem, sometimes it can be a little slow. In the end, it took an hour for my husband to get the order, only after being passed by by multiple waitresses and showing the order confirmation. They said it was their online service but I'm pretty sure they just forgot the order altogether and just ignored him sitting there for an hour. Barely any apology, and no refund or discount. If I had been there, I would've just left without the food but he had already paid. We've ordered here probably 20+ times living near the restaurant but I don't think we will again. My daughter and I ate here prior to a university tour. Very small restaurant that is decorated very tastefully. Natalie, a dance student, was our server. She was friendly and efficient and even gave us some info about the school. We were the only customers, but even so, it seemed the food came out extremely fast! It was piping hot and delicious. First we had a turnip soup and pickle assortment. Then our fried dumplings came out. Our bulgogi and bibimbop came out last. The portions were ample. The food was very fresh and flavorful. Thought I would give this place a try when I went to another restaurant that happened to be closed for the day. The server was extremely nice and really tried her best. But the restaurant got very busy and she was the only one running around to each table. Therefore that made the service slower than average. We ordered the unlimited bbq and they took about 30 minutes to bring each order of meat.. which there is a 2 hour limit and with 4 of us they only brought portions for about 2 or 3 people.
