My initial appointment for cleaning and X-rays were great, I needed to come back for a deep cleaning and 2 cavities. I came back and 2 cavities turned into 4? I sat there numb for 30 minutes waiting for the Dr. the procedure was so rushed, she barely gave me time to breath and I was panicking. She ended up drilling 3, I honestly felt like she was just drilling to drill! I needed to be renumbed. It was not a good experience, and I will not be going back for the this "4th" cavity. She mentioned one of those teeth might need a root canal?! Are you kidding?! I'm 28 years old and I take care of my teeth - this place just wants to drill and take your money. read more

Absolutely awful! I had to get a tooth pulled and I specifically told the dentist that it takes a while for novocaine to kick in for me. She seemed annoyed, and waited 5 more minutes and began digging. when I said I could feel what she was doing, she told me to "hold still" I could hear my tooth crack, and I yelled in agony. she told me I could go home, and come back another day. Do not go here. Official dentist of the Phila Eagles, and I don't see why. They dentist was trying her best to do an upsell on unnecessary services, did not listen to my feelings and more importantly my pocketbook. It's obvious that's it's all about the money and not about you. The prices and procedures quoted were ridiculously expensive! I ended up going to another dentist who did the work patiently, admirably and less than half the price I was quoted at D3!! There are so many other qualified and nurturing dentists. Last few visits, had a different dentist tell me conflicting advice. Paid for a $300 mouth guard suggested by one dentist which was very uncomfortable to wear and a following different dentist said this was a piece of junk I should have paid for a different company to make. How can two people say different things and I lost $300 for no reason. Then while I was pregnant, they wanted a cleaning scheduled at 9 months in which I could not lie flat anymore, so I cancelled that appointment. Will be switching dentists. read more

I had the worst experience here. I had to have some filling done awhile ago and after my procedure, the dentist kept telling me to bite on the bite strip the check for high points and they wouldn't even look at it and kept asking me how they felt. Uh, my mouth is numb from the full block injection of novacaine! I can't feel anything! Not only that, it took me well over 4 months to regain full feeling after my visit. I was terrified and thought I was never going to regain full feeling in my mouth. They also continuously solicit me to come back for cleanings and I've even told them to stop calling me because I'm going back to my family's dentist. Worst dental experience I have ever had. And I like going to the dentist!!!! read more

I had a crown done on a molar by Dr. Desai a couple months back. It was in pretty bad shape and after the initial work was done I was experiencing a fair amount of sensitivity which is bad and looked like I may be heading for a root canal. Dr. Desai took extra time to try other remedies to eliminate/reduce the sensitivity of the tooth and I am happy to report his patience and extra measures paid off! It took a little longer to place my final crown but I am nothing short of thrilled with the outcome. Not only does it feel fantastic - it is hands down the best crown I have ever had placed in my mouth. It looks flawless and absolutely natural. If you are looking for a practice that goes the extra mile for their patients and provides a beautiful final outcome - I would recommend the team at D3 Dental! read more

7/16/2013 Not my favorite however it was time to go back to the dentist. This visit was told to put aside about 4 hours. 3 Root canals, pulling teeth, 4 titanium posts to put in, xrays, 2 caps, bone grafting and temp implants, WOW a mouth full!. First I must say the numbing was simple, no needle, no pinch, just put something on gums and massaged in. With all the above needed to be done during this visit, it wasn't really that bad. Dr. Dudhat & his staff are wonderful. They all work as a team on you, all very knowledgeable & caring. And they were correct, I did walkout of the dentist office with a beautiful smile! Would you believe with all Dr. Dudhat did this visit, I didn't need to take any pain meds.I still need to visit D3 several times to complete my total package being done. Again thank you Dr. Dudhat & your Wonderful staff , for giving me back my beautiful white smile again! read more

Don't like going to the dentist, but D3 makes going fun and as painless as possible. Everyone is super nice and gentle when working on your teeth. Very clean office and plenty of parking. Having insurance is amazing, but if you are someone who does not have insurance, I find their prices are affordable, and they will go out of their way to assist where they can. 5 stars! The group at D3 Dental could not have been more accommodating. I called around 7:30 on a Friday evening with a very VERY painful tooth. My call was promptly returned within minutes and I was sitting in the dentist chair by 8:30am the following morning. I was also given the option of being seen that very night which was also comforting. Maggie at the front desk is a sweetheart. Being greeted with kindness and a smile goes along way when you are nervous about going to the dentist. My insurance/payment info was explained thoroughly and I may have sat in the waiting room for no more then 1 minute. Unfortunately I didn't get the dental assistants name, however, she is from Albania and was sweet as can be. She kept up general conversation while making sure I was comfortable. Dr. Desai is adorable & was very knowledgable explaining everything clearly while giving all options available before proceeding. I was given head phones to drowned out any noise which made the process a breeze. For someone who had been petrified of the dentist for as long as I can remember, I am looking forward to finally getting the dental work that I've needed for so long. I was in and out of the dental chair before I knew it and feeling confident about my next visit. The faculty itself is clean as well as up to date with new technology. I would recommend D3 Dental to anyone and I thank them for seeing me so promptly AND on a Saturday morning! *one side note* GPS took me to an address just down the street from the office, so if you intend to use GPS ask the receptionist on the phone before using Siri. read more

As a longtime dentist-hater, and with a mouth full of pain, I chose the first dentist locally with some positive feedback and all I can say is I chose the right one! Dr. Dudhat and staff made the experience of a root canal relatively pain-free and I even found myself laughing while in their office, something I never dreamed possible at a dentist office. They are extremely efficient, effective, and make the experience as enjoyable as one can imagine. So take it from someone who never gave a dentist a chance, D3 are the only choice when it comes to your mouth and oral hygiene. I had very very BAD experience with Dr Desai. I wound NOT recommend this place for any advance treatment. I had filling work done for a tooth where I had no pain at all. Immediately after this filling my tooth started paining. Also it became sensitive. Dentist told me to do root canal. I paid few hundreds dollars out of my pocket and have done root canal. During this root canal Dr Desai broke the root canal file(needle for root canal) in my tooth. Dentist told me that this broken file(needle for root canal) can't be removed. The only way to resolve this is extract this tooth and go for a implant...which cost me around $2000. It was hard for me to digest that I ended up loosing my tooth which was not paining at all and had to spend $2000 + dollars... and few months worth of pain. Please think 10 times before you go for any advance procedure here....DON'T GO. read more

I only give this place 3 stars because of a couple of things. Here's the good:they numbed the heck out of me which was good because usually it takes forever to get me numb. I got 2 teeth pulled and didn't feel any pain. The front desk was extremely friendly and even had my 15 yr old complimenting their welcoming demeanor. The dentist is pretty quick and seems to know what he's doing. Here's the bad and pretty much a deal breaker on whether I come back or not: The dentist tried extensively to sell me on implants even though I told him that I didn't want them at the time. Then he tried to get me to pay cash for just bone grafting which I told him several times that I wasn't prepared to pay that day. I only went there for extractions. The infected, broken teeth were preventing me from getting an important cancer surgery. So, getting the teeth pulled(which was covered by insurance) was my main concern. When I refused and repeated for the 5th time that I wasn't interested, the dentist seemed to get irritated and left me sitting for 20 minutes with a numb face. Once he realized I wasn't going to agree to his extras he was abrupt and matter of fact. That was a total turn off. So, if you don't mind a pushy salesman then try them out but if you want a caring dentist who cares more about his trade than making an extra buck then good luck finding him/her. Honestly, most dentists seem to be in it for the money. read more

My family and I have been patients of D3 Dental for several years and my youngest son is 3 and only knows this practice. They are very personable, knowledgeable, timely and courteous. The office is clean, bright, open and safe. You can use the massage chair while you wait but it is usually a very short time. They accommodate you most times if come early and no problems within 15 minutes late. Everyone is extra helpful, willing to educate and accommodate you. They are always smiling and make you feel special. You receive good bags of dental supplies after each visit. They do an amazing job on your teeth!!! You will not be disappointed. Located in a business plaza , office is not seen from the street but signs are visible and very clear to follow. D3 Dental is an amazing practice with a wonderful staff. No high turnover so they know each patient well. I love D3 Dental and my 3 year old loves the dentist because of them!!! read more

Debbie the receptionist is the worst person ever. She is unbelievably rude and makes you feel extremely uncomfortable about the entire experience. The dentist used my upper chest as a tool tray while working on my teeth. Horrible experience. read more
