I'm extremely happy with the project D4 completed at my house. I cannot say enough good things about Jay, Jack and their crew. They went above and beyond to make sure my patio came out perfect. They made recommendations which enhanced the project, they showed up early everyday, they are extremely honest, respectful, nice, hard working, fair, etc. I'm so pleased with them that I wish D4 did general construction, electrical work, plumbing, well, irrigation, etc. I'd hire them for all of my projects. I already have another masonry project I plan to use them for. I've already recommended them to my friends and neighbors. You are in good hands with D4 and will be VERY happy with their work

I have a unique perspective in that I've done my lawn for 30 years. This week my tractor went in for service and needed a cut for special occasion. This company stepped up to the plate and helped us out. I called about 10 local companies and none returned call. I've watched all the neighbors run through landscape companies and none have been good enough to transition. This is the first company that I have experienced that cares about quality and service. This should be the only company you call in the area for lawn service. Compassion and quality from the top down. read more

Quoted $1,200 for a job to remove poison ivy along a rock wall in the front of our property. Invoice came in at $1,960 with no heads up about the difference. I called and they told me when the workers showed up and realized it was a bigger job and needed some larger equipment. The person on the phone also informed me whoever made the quote "was unable to get a good look at the wall". How am I now supposed to be responsible for your inability to give me an accurate quote. I understand the estimate says the costs may be "higher or lower" and I feel like a reasonable amount would be 20%. Not a 60% increase with NO communication - and they knew I was home, just knock on the door. Deceptive company and I will not work with or recommend them to anyone. (Wall looks great though). read more

Craftsmanship, professionalism, attention to detail are alive and well in 2025 if the form of Jay and his team at D$. We had them replace our front walk and a side wall and truly the final result was even better than we imagined. Moreover, Jay was attentive each day, checking in with me to let them know what the plan for the day was and whether i had any concerns. Bizarre response from the owner. I never said they were fake? I said D4 was unreliable. Again, like I stated in my initial review, the way the owner speaks to people who give him a bad rating speaks for itself. We fired this company due to the poor services. Not having a profile photo or "friends" on yelp is irrelevant to the unprofessional services provided by D4. read more

We had a stone wall and a walkway that was in rough shape. We needed a new wall, new steps, and a new walkway. We spoke with and got quotes from a number of different companies. D4 came out and spent a good amount of time with us talking through the process and the options. They seemed to be one of the few companies that brought up some really key points (such as proper drainage, sloping, etc...). This made them stand out and we decided to work with them. They were extremely patient as my wife and I worked through a number of small changes/updates. I was amazed when I saw the true skill and care that was taken with every single stone that went into the rock wall. We watched from the window these talented Masons/artists carefully shaped each and every stone to ensure a perfect look and fit. They made sure to take into account not just shape, but color and size as well. It was a true work of art. When we commented that there was a bit more red in the walkway than we were hoping, the owner without pause said "You need to live with this every day and be happy" and asked his team to pull out many of the red stones that were already down and replace them with more gray which is what we were hoping for. I knew at that point; this is the type of company that I want to do business with. More impressive than just the work on the wall and walkway, was the careful care they took to clean up. They added loam and seed where there was none, they patched any bit of driveway that may have now been exposed due to the demolition of the old wall and they spent a considerable amount of time, sweeping, blowing, and cleaning up after themselves. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the results as well as the interaction and professionalism of D4. The pictures speak for themselves, but interaction and follow-through make them a diamond in the rough. Would highly recommend their services (which we already have to friends, neighbors, and family). read more

We had a paver patio and fire pit installed. D4 came out and discussed the project, spent a good amount of time. They are very customer focused. I changed the detail design partway into the job and they didn't skip a beat, They worked it all out. They started the job and completed it exactly as expected. 100% satisifed. read more

These guys are great. Responsive, professional, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. They work hard and go above and beyond what you'd expect from a landscaper. I mean, they really hustle when they work. They cleared out the existing scraggly bushes in front of and behind our house, built a magnificent brick walkway for us in front of the house, and then put in all new shrubs and plants. We wanted low maintenance plants but didn't know what to ask for. D4 took care of us, and totally transformed our yard from a neighborhood embarrassment to a thing of beauty. Really nice guys too. You can't go wrong with D4. read more

Well, where do I begin. So angry and pissed off at these incompetent morons. Have had these people supposedly taking care of my lawn but they do anything but that. The crews always work very erratic and haphazardly with no regard to people's personal possessions or house property. Have had multiple exterior lights damaged, a hose, my firepit, furniture, window walls, and other items. They will wake you up at 6:00 in the morning only to mow your lawn for 10 minutes only to do nothing else and then leave. They refuse to and ignore any seeding or mulching or properly treat my affected areas of my grass. Need their help for cleanup in the fall months? You'll be lucky if you see them within 2 months of their first fall cleanup. As of now, they have only replaced the damaged lights but ONLY because I called and complained. They acted like they didn't even care and didn't fix the lights for a whole month! They way overcharge you just so they can work so erratic and lousy and damage everything that you own. I'm hiring another landscaper immediately and would have never hired D4 in the first place if I knew how this group of slimy buffoons operated. Anyone is better than these guys, even a pet goat! Would rate D4 Landscaping 0 stars if I could. Stay far away from these people, literally anyone else is a better choice for your yard work and landscaping needs! FU D4 and have a great day! read more

Despite of having a contract, this company left us to shovel snow for hours (with the neighbors) after the biggest snowstorm. They did not answer telephone calls, only the next day, when we learnt that they are not working in our town any more, despite of calling us a couple of months ago for confirmation on the contract. We have a driveway we share with the neighbors with two kids which makes the matter even more serious. Since the storm, nobody called us even with an apology. read more

He recently refunded me for part of the funds I paid him that he never paid to the landscaper who brought in stone for him - and offered to refund the entire amount if I deleted this review. I have that text too. Lying comes very easily to him.

We had a block wall at the front of our house that needed replacement do to its age. Jack from D4 Landscaping came by, looked at our job, he was very knowledgeable and thorough which helped make our decision to go with them. During the course of the job we made some changes and added additional work, a walkway and enlarge rear patio, they were able to seamlessly extend the rear patio into the existing one. He and his crew were very accommodating, easy to work with, always pleasant and professional. All of this job was done on 90+ degree days, they showed up always on time and worked full days, cleaning the job site before they left each day. Jack and the crews workmanship and attention to detail is unbelievable. He always had a quick response to every email or call that we made. I couldn't be happier with the work D4 Landscaping did on my yard! They removed an old deck and completely transformed the space by installing fresh sod, planting beautiful bushes and trees, and laying down mulch that tied everything together perfectly. The crew was professional, efficient, and paid great attention to detail throughout the entire process. They showed up on time, worked hard, and left the yard spotless. These guys are great. Saw a picture from a postcard that was close to the patio I wanted. They were able to come out the next week and put it in. About halfway through we decided to expand, I was hesitant to ask for the change, but Jack was a pleasure to deal with. When about done, we asked again for some additional work in the backyard, they took care of it as well. We've got a great patio now. read more

These guys did a great job edging & mulching our property. It looks fantastic. I have done this work for years by myself so I know how hard it is. Their guys worked 9 hours on a day when it was 95+ degrees outside. Very courteous & professional and needless to say hardworking. They did a patio walkway for us last week. It looks AMAZING. They were easy to work with, communicated well, and did a fabulous job. The guys are hard workers, and were diligent in getting it done meticulously. When they were done, you would never have known they were here. They left the area spotless. You expect customers to record voicemails or send you Verizon logs? Lol. I have 100 reviews but...needed to write a fake one for some landscaper in Medway. Honestly, you sound very defensive and angry. If only you spent as much time answering phones as you do comments, maybe you'd have more positive reviews. read more

We've been using D4 for several years for all of our landscaping needs. They are reliable and do great work. On several occasions they also helped us out with snow removal while we've been out of town. Great customer service and very responsive! read more
