Disappointing! It's not the same and it's not worth the price. It all changed thanks to the dine in area. The new menu is over priced that's why it's not online like it use to be on yelp, you have to get one when ordering or pick one up to see the prices and the pizza was not as good as before. Just waited 2 1/2 hours for pizza. Pizza arrived soggy and cold literally cold. No excuses. I eat here every Friday. Never again. I guess nobody there has a car idk. The owner says they were waiting for driver from yelp?? Maybe he should rethink his relationship with them because it obviously effecting his business. This is one of the best pizza spots we've tried in the high desert. Only had the pepperoni so far. They are of course more expensive than the chain pizza but at least you taste and feel the difference in the ingredients and quality. Same cannot be said for all mom and pops! My family loves this pizza place. We drive all the way from Apple Valley for their pizza. We were ordering via Uber and how we found them, but now just drive to get it. We typically do the cauliflower pizza crust and customize the toppings. The pizza is always awesome! My daughter gets her own small and same, she loves it. I have been back to D6 multiple times & the pizzas still delicious & best in HD, compared to the rest ive tried up here(most all of them). My wife ordered the Calzone & it still tastes as delicious as the pizza(since its same crust)& good portions because this pizza is much more filling than many lower priced pizzas ive bought that don't fill me up,with d6 2 slices has me semi full compared to 3-4 slices of others. Finally!! After a nearly 5 month search, I have found good pizza in the high desert!! Having moved here from Los Angeles, I have struggled to find good food of any kind. Now I have my pizza place! Delicious crust, generous toppings, real sausage chunks, not the frozen little tasteless nuggets that so many pizza places use. The sauce is tangy and not too sweet. I've only tried their specialty pizzas but wow they are pretty good. The Great White and Margarita pizzas are their most popular pizzas for good reason. Their buffalo chicken pizza was ok and their barbeque chicken was too sweet for my taste. In general they are a bit salty and on the pricy side. But their cheese tastes really good. Overall I would say that it's a 3.5 star but the Great White and Margarita are keeps us coming back read more

My wife and I ordered delivery as a special treat for the last night of her spring break that we'd be spending at my parent's place. Placed our order at 5:40 and they told us it would be about an hour. Totally fine. 7:00 rolls by and about 10 minutes later my wife called to check on the status of our order. She was told that our order was next, they were just waiting on a driver to come back and get it - 15 more minutes was the new projected time. My wife called back again at 8:00 because we still had no pizza in our possession. She was told "he should be there any minute, he's already left the shop" and the man gave a brief apology and hung up. About 5 minutes later the driver finally arrived (had trouble finding the place but that I understand-it was dark by then). And I went out to get it. The driver thought we were paying cash but we'd given our credit card info when we ordered, so he called to check with the shop. While that was happening I checked the receipt and the cheese pizza with light sauce we ordered for my mom was made as cheese pizza with WHITE sauce. The man on the phone said sorry about that and they didn't charge us for the meal. Once we had the food inside it was mediocre. The "messed up" cheese pizza was swimming in grease, there was so much condensation in my wife's calzone box that the bottom of the box was dangerously close to falling through (it also seems like they put it back in the oven to warm it because the crust was a bit too on the crispy/dark side). Our potato wedges were soft instead of crispy because they'd sat, and my and my dad's pizza was good but nothing I'd rave about. Final opinion: based on the other reviews praising the food and the potential we saw in what we finally got, it's probably best if you go in and get it there, DON'T ORDER DELIVERY! read more

I'm revising my rating from two stars to three stars... and the reason why, is because I received a phone call from Tony, the owner of Mr. D's Pizza. Needless to say, I was very surprised that the owner contacted me after my review. Surprised in a good way, and impressed. Why? Well, because, it just goes to show that he takes his business very seriously, and he wants to improve and please the customer. He invited me back to eat in a couple of months, when they have their dining area completed. This is a real review! Not fluff. By far, hands down Brooklyn style pizza!!! I spent every summer in Brooklyn as a child. I know what real pizza taste like. I have been living in the high desert for 3 years and looking for a authentic pizzeria. I found it on my first bite. Memories of NY came rushing back when I remembered that taste. On our way back to Vegas we had a pizza craving and decided to Yelp pizza places around. D6 Pizza having such good reviews triggered our attention and we decided to try it out. One of the badly rated reviews said that the reason for her low rating was the dirty restroom, well the restroom was absolutely clean and even had a pleasant smell. Now as for the food witch is most important... I had Pineapple & Ham extra cheese my partner had Jalapeños and mushroom, we also ordered 8 piece Barbecue wings and two drinks Sprite & Dr.Pepper (Total $30). The Pizza over was good from 1 - 10 ... 10 being THE BEST PIZZA EVER I rate it a solid 7 my partner also agrees his Jalapeño and Mushroom pizza was a 7. Now the reason why I'm not giving a Perfect 5 Star is because the time of wait was a little long in my opinion. Yes I do keep in mind that they might have orders over the phone ahead of me but it was only about 2 other families in the restaurant when we were there. It took about 25-30 min to get our pizzas. We had to wait an extra 5min to receive our order of barbecue wings. This was unexpected for me because we usually receive the wings before the pizza but this was vise-versa. The price didn't bother me, the customer service of the cashier was great, he also moved our plates of the table when we were done and brought us our drinks, he was friendly. After getting a response back from the owner I feel more obliged to give this business the review it deserves. The pizza here is great, the crust is perfect unlike other pizza places I've been to. Also my boyfriend wanted me to mention that the ranch dip they have is pretty good and only 25 cents Lolz. They have great menu items to choose from. I was upset before about the specials being discontinued but after the response I have received it is completely understandable. I will be coming back to this pizza place soon, cause every time I go somewhere else I am always thinking in my head I should of spent that little more to get that much better of a pizza from this place. read more
