Food was amazing here. Rome is known for very simple pasta dishes. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We had seafood, steaks, and pastas of course. Also can't forget about Cappuccinos! One of the better Tiramisus I have had in this area. Try it! Every restaurant has their special dishes so it depends if your choices land on one you might enjoy. For us, we enjoyed every dish that was served. Food was fresh and so was the seafood. Rich and sweet tasting seafood. We came here 2x during our 3 day stay in Trastevere, Rome. I wish we asked for his name, but our server provided amazing service! He was very attentive and respectful to our table. We were served Limoncello to freshen things up after finishing our meals. There are indoor & outdoor seating along the sidewalk with a nice atmosphere to watch people and cars pass by. Highly recommended spot to eat and drink in the area and they seem to open quite late at night too possibly before midnight. Also, the server can speak & understand English. Please don't be rude and expect others to speak English when you're in their territory. Grazie = thank you. Ciao = greeting hi/bye. At least know these haha.

    Mushroom pizza! Great flavor!

Amazing service and classic, delicious Italian food! Their pizzas have great flavor and appearance! We had the margarita pizza, the 4 cheese pizza, and the mushroom pizza. Everyone at the table enjoyed their pizza and had a great time! One person had a seafood calzone, which had awesome flavor and was filled well! The staff was attentive and helpful, and brought our food out in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, would recommend to anyone in the Trastevere area! Great local restaurant!

Rice ball platter! SO GREAT! My family makes these back in the states.

Had lunch twice in the last week. Andrea is wonderful. A great choice on a nice street to watch Trastevere go by.

Everyone needs a trip to Italy, if nothing more than to enjoy all of the food…read more When you've landed, you're hungry, and it's not lunch time, and it's not dinner time, you may end up, selling for whatever you can find is open We were absolutely starving, and wanting to indulge in our first Italian meal, what do you do when you're in Italy?! You may want to indulge in pasta or pizza! We walked in, and we were immediately seated. Air conditioning is nonexistent, and on a hot summer day, it would've been cooler to dine outside. had that been an option, and it was 95° out. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately told that Pizza and some of their baked Italian dishes were not going to be available. Boo. The wait staff seemed fairly nice, and offered to bring us glasses of water. The glasses were super tiny, and thankfully the waitress brought over a carafe of water. We asked for a few suggestions, since both of us had been craving pizza, and she suggested the Carbonara. She said it was one of the best dishes. While we were waiting for our food, several other tables were immediately filled up with other customers, families and friends alike. It was interesting that those tables were served pizza... I'll just leave it at that. The carbonara Was anything less than delicious. We both found the pasta to be barely cooked. Not al dente, but barely cooked. The seasoning was mediocre, and there was very little pork, which is supposed to be the highlight of this dish, in this dish. Diners tip: if you are not a local, keep in mind that your version of Customer Service may or may not fit what Customer Service is in Rome. Despite being hungry, I had a hard time, finishing the food, let alone actually eating it. The waitress only came over at the end to drop off the check, and when she noticed that I had barely eaten anything, first gave me a strange look, and then asked about it. It was definitely one of those situations where saying something was wrong would've been met with unwanted attention. This is in a place to add to your must try list... There are plenty of other places, even in and around this area that more than likely would be a better choice.

Bufala pizza with red sauce and lasagna was excellent. Seating was fast and good serviceread more
