The fried jumbo shrimp were amazing. The moth sticks are pre packaged garbage. Pass on the more sticks.

Amazing food, house-brewed beer, and outside seating on the river!…read more Let's start with their BEER. Some small breweries are just ok, but Prairie Street made excellent beer! I ordered a flight so I could sample many. The samples were large. The food was excellent. Menu options extend beyond typical pub fare. We started with the fried pickle chips which were actual chips and not pickle spears like some places offer. I ordered the POKE BOWL WITH KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN. It was super delicious. You can't beat the outdoor seating with river view, unless it was hot like when we visited. We opted for indoor seating in the cooled environment. Staff was excellent.

Everyone Deserves a second Chance…read more I visited PSB on my lunch because they have a Plant based Gyro and that in itself is very difficult to find. They were steady for lunch but not nearly as busy as I expected at 1230 on a Friday. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was very nice. She was very polite and attentive. I ordered the one thing I came for (obviously), and was surprised by how quickly It was ready. Something I appreciated as I was on lunch at work, so I had limited time to begin with. The Gyro was delicious! I got their pickled onions on the side as I wasn't sure how strong they'd be. They were actually very good and an excellent compliment to the gyro itself. The Gyro was served with Potato Wedges. These I could have done without, they differed in size so the cook was drastically different depending on which one you got. The small ones were almost over done and the large ones weren't cooked enough. The Sandwich was definitely the highlight of my meal. This place is so cool, Such a beautiful building with amazing outdoor seating. My other complaint is the price. $20+ for a sandwich (after tax) is outrageous. I am very happy to have tried it, It was delicious. I most likely won't go back for that sandwich though. Too many options around at a fraction of the price. This place definitely deserves to be tried by everyone. They are one of the best spots in all of Rockford.

This might be the best and coolest overall place in the greater Rockford area. I think it's been…read morethere since the 1940s. I love old historical places like this. We sat at the bar for a drink while we waited for a table. I had a white Russian and my wife had a specialty cocktail, I don't remember what it was. We both enjoyed our drinks. We were seated in some elevated booths that had a view of the bar area, which was absolutely fantastic!! There is tons of regular restaurant seating in the back dining room rooms... We had the pig candy, cheese, curds, and the waitress recommended the fresh bread. The pig candy was very rich. One piece was enough for me. The cheese curds were very large bigger than tater tots. They tasted good, but I prefer smaller cheese curds. The waitress was right, the bread stole the show! One of the butters that it came with was cinnamon, which was fantastic! Dinner salad was very good. Tasted like homemade dressing. My wife had the pig sandwich and I had the gnocchi. Both were great, including the accoutrements like the french fries and garlic bread. The hostess came around, giving the ladies coronations, which was a nice touch. Great service and just genuinely nice people! We eat out every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is now on our list.

Not bad bad but not good either charged $3.00 for half sausage and 3.00$ for half pepperoni and to top that off they charged over a 1:00$ for credit card use I have never seen that for restaurant orders. Also $4.00 per drink . Waitress was nice. Never again. They have lost a good customer please be aware that they are more interred in making money then pleasing their customers with something eatable. Long horn may be expensive but offer good food. Culvers have excellent butter burgers and staff is excellent. Many many places to go for much better food. We use to go have fillets but now do not intend to go back. Spending on good food is most important however when people try to jerk you around. don't let them!!!

Olympic Tavern - This is the Italian beef I picked up at Olympic Tavern. This has been the worst I have ever had.

DiTullio's was a cute little place with a small store and small outside patio!! The sandwiches all have names but I don't remember. :( The food was good. I really liked the freshness of products!!! The bread was great. We ordered 4 sandwiches. The tuna which was Italian style yellowfin tuna ( in oil )...fresh and delicious. Not fishy or tinny ?? at all. Very simple but decent sandwich. Nothing special. I believe it was $11.95. Then the Italian beef panini. Again, great bread. It was like a Rosemary Focaccia bread!!! The best flavors but the Italian beef itself tasted like Steak-umms!!! :(. Don't get me wrong, back in the day, I loved me some steak-umms after bar hopping but not for $14.95 pic below Then came the Roasted red pepper Caprese. Beautiful!!! Freshest ingredients. Tomato, basil, fresh mozzarella, artichokes, it was delicious EXCEPT a little salt and pepper would have really lit that sandwich up!!!!! Pic below I ate half and brought the other half home just to test my theory!!!! AAAA-MAZING!!!! Lastly, the turkey and artichoke sandwich which we thought was going to be on the same FANTASTIC ITALIAN BREAD THE OTHERS WERE SERVED ON- nope!!!! It came on like multigrain bread!!!!! Wah-wah!!!! While I do like this bread, not from an Italian deli!!!! Sorry. Not a good choice. Italian deli = Italian bread!!!!! Service was good but the girls I would think if this place got slammed for lunch would sink!!!! Just saying!!! But they were courteous and made a decent sandwich. Overall, for the area, it's a must try. Definitely better quality but expect to pay for it!!! Check it out! A little too pricey ----- 4 sandwiches for $60!!! No way. I could go to a great Italian deli/storefront in Oakbrook terrace and get way more bang for my buck!!!! Take a nice ride on a Saturday afternoon and get lunch!!!! Interested in the name, message me?? Store products seemed a bit much but you be the judge! Check out DiTullio's for fresh Italian ingredients but expect to pay a bit more for them!!!
