I had 22.5" Semi Truck rims from a 2006 Peterbilt mounted on my 97 Ford F-350 dually at Forest Brothers Tire & let me tell you.. biggest mistake I've ever made. After I left their shop, for weeks I was trying to figure out why my truck kept shaking. I tried everything and nothing worked. A good friend of mine referred me to Da Drop Shop in Midland & I was running out of options so I gave these guys a shot. Not only did they fix the issue with my rig they called and said it was done in just a couple short hours. They weighted & balanced all my tires and made sure it was running to par. Turnaround time was super quick, the invoice was a lot cheaper than expected and I was really happy with the work the performed on my truck. Now, my dually drives straight with no shaking thanks to these guys. Honestly I don't understand how this place has anything less than 5 stars. Fern and his team go shove and beyond working outside of normal business hours to accommodate customers. They get the job done right the first time. He has worked on my custom excursion, rat rod and 2012 dodge and everything has always been taken care of flawlessly. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I had gone and gotten new tires for my f250 and the tires they had were fury's I have only driven maybe 7000 miles on them and I had a blowout last night on the side wall ... also I thought I bought true spike lug nuts from them and paid the 200+ dollars for the full set and to come and find out that I can't find them anywhere online when I was trying to buy more . I took time to take pics to show sh---- work. Owner was posted on social media by a young man ( a minor) for his substandard work. This young man who was trying to trust people only received maltreatment. From the Da Drop Shop a grown man or an adult who threatened him with a lawyer and called him a hoe. The minor child was letting everyone know the truth and to be aware of this shop. I guess when your exposed and the truth is sent to all potential customers. You will get upset. I guess that is why you need to deal up front and honestly. Then this child was then called derogatory names on Twitter and Snap. I have the photos of it all. SMH.... Who would wonder and even think of talking to other people's children like this and do business? This shop will heat and distort factory parts and create hazards and possible serious injury. See actual pictures. I would hate to live like this. So you know. I guess you can tell by this post. I am an unhappy parent. However, I know there are worst stories. It was a great thing the Da Drop Shop to not honor on fixing paint. Maybe we will stop some of these deceptive trade practices or let our voice be heard. Money can't buy honor and integrity. I have to hand it to them. Very professional and very helpful. I had a 6 inch lift put on my Tahoe. I went there looking for a quote on a Friday night. I was about to travel to California in a week. I told them what I wanted and they showed me all the options. I opted for one a little more expensive. They had told me it was better. And so far it rides better than it has ever ridden. They told me it wouldn't be in time. To do it after. Well they called and found out they could have shipped in 2 days. They got it and started on it. I would have gotten it back early. But they found my passenger axle needing repair. It needed to be replaced. I thought it was done by another mechanic 2 weeks prior. But it wasn't. They replaced it and worked out the kinks on the next Friday. They stayed late till it was 100% great. I've been ridding it now for 2 months. It rides great. People always ask me where I had it done. I have to tell them. Da Drop Shop. By the way they also lower cars. The staff is all different. But they have a couple of things in common. Friendly, professional, great attitude, and very knowledgeable about their products and services. I wish I had found them over a year ago. read more

Was given a final total by Tim, but when it came time to pick up my truck I magically owed $600 more ontop of the total. My insurance had already paid OVER the total Tim gave me. Many excuses made, I asked for detailed bill and was never given one (picked up truck after hours). Tim blamed the extra $600 on everything he could think of, from it taking longer to install aftermarket bumpers to blaming the guys at the counter for giving him the wrong quote on powder. They even tried to charge me extra for shipping on powder they already had in stock (billing lady fixed it)!! Tires were not balanced right, truck vibrated BAD, told Tim, he didn't seem to give a shit. Was told it would take 4 days to be completed, ended up taking 8 days with little to ZERO contact from Tim about anything! I had to run him down and blow his phone up to get any kind of update (I needed to leave to make a 1400 mile trip and was guaranteed it would be done in time). 10/10 do NOT recommend. Make sure you get a detailed bill because it seems like someone is adding on random shit to make some extra money!! I have ALL of the texts between Tim and myself. He also talked me into an aftermarket bumper by assuring me that it would eliminate all of my tire rub, guess what?! Its actually WORSE now!! Thanks Tim!! Also left the shop with a screw broken off in the tread of my tire. Sent Tim a picture when I left (after hours pickup) and not even an apology was given. Maybe the shop does excellent work for some, but for me it was a hassle and one of the worst experiences I've ever had!! Its a shame because I've seen some nice work that the shop has done!! Never again! Very unprofessional and rude. Took my truck in to get my rim repaired, after a week I took my truck back in to get it mounted on and all went okay. Literally right after i left their shop I pulled into a gas station and hear a pop... the air had all came out and my tire was ruined. Thank God I wasn't driving. Called them back and the receptionist was using foul language and very rude. A little after I was back at the shop and they dared to say it was my fault and I "fkd" it up. Then proceeded to try and sell me a tire when they were the ones who didn't do the job right the first time. Needless to say I took care of the tire myself. What a joke of an establishment. Not only that but while I waited for my truck I noticed there were beer cans everywhere! Drinking on the job!? I would not recommend their services to anyone. Seriously! read more

Wow! What HORRIBLE service after they take your money! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! My husband and I spent $1,300 there for truck bed cover and a windshield that they make you pre-purchase and then NEVER CALLED US BACK!!! It took 3 weeks and about 6-7 phone calls of us leaving messages (with an actual person b/c their mailbox is always full) for them to talk to us after constant attempts! It turns out they were avoiding us because they never had the part they sold us!!! The man who sold it to us wouldn't even talk to us. After 3 weeks, We told them to give our money back. Come to find out later about this $64 dollar FEE that they wouldn't be returning b/c we didn't use cash! What the crap kind of business is this!? They didn't even tell us about the fee. Had we known we would have gone to get the cash instead! Now we don't have what we need and are out $63 bucks for THE WORST customer service and business in Midland! Also, the bathroom was a joke! Overpriced and under delivered. I had assumed they were professionals based on the nice rigs they have parked out front. So I justified paying a much higher than industry pricing for a parts install. I left manufacturers install instructions and asked they be followed, as they explained how to install correctly. They had two "technicians" trying to figure out why the parts would not function properly for over an hour and when I asked if they had followed the manufacturer instructions, I was told "yeah we seen them stapled to the work order, but we don't need them". He then used an impact driver to torque bolts down far past torque specs. Damage done to my $1,000 upgrade-- $1,000. Seems they know how to tighten bolts... but that's about it.
