My partner and I were in the mood for unfussy, authentic Italian food- and that's just what we got! I ordered the Rigatoni ai Broccoli. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce was bright and tangy, and the pork bits added to the layered texture. Sometimes I feel like pasta doesn't have enough nutrients and protein, but this plate was perfectly balanced in its pasta-to-protein ratio with the good amount of pork and broccoli incorporated in the sauce. The olives sprinkled throughout gave it hints of a deep, unexpected flavor. I enjoyed the meal with two smooth Lambrusco glasses, and we topped the night off with a pillowy Tiramisu. On top of the fabulous meal, the waiter was kind and appreciated me ordering in French.
