Next to the canal after our gondola ride. A light dinner on the patio overlooking the canal. Accommodating staff and a very enjoyable atmosphere.

We happened upon Da Raffaele and the head waiter found us a great little table on the water. It was under a little building which ended up being a blessing since shortly after starting dinner it rained. And we had a beautiful protected table on the canal. Food was soo good. I loved my choice of pesto scampi. I mean amazing. The caprece too was unique and very good. Others ordered beef with potatoes, very good and truffle pasta which was also good. We ended dinner with the torte of the day, an apple cake with Carmel and gelato. Incredible!!

Great location next to the water; inside is very warm and cozy with candlelight and dark wood beams; seemed like we were in an Austrian restaurant! Service was great, attentive and timely but not rushed. We loved all of our food and had such an enjoyable time talking with our table neighbors, that I forgot to take a picture of the excellent homemade Tiramisu - the best I've ever had. So light and decadent!

    Aperol spritz and pesto pasta

Had the pesto pasta and an Aperol spritz! Probably the best pasta I've had! My siblings ordered the truffle pasta and that was just as good! Service was also very great! Sat right on the water with a great view.

Had an absolutely fabulous meal here. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The ragu sauce was great. Their signature first course is fresh and delicious. Americans should know that Italian service is not as quick as they are used to but enjoy a bit!!!

This place was one of the best in the area where we were staying. We walked by earlier in the day and knew this is what we wanted to dinner. We arrived at 6:20pm but did not realize they reopen for dinner at 7pm so we found a waiter and put our reservations in for 7pm. We wandered until 6:55pm and once we returned they had our table reserved with our name on it. The menu is moderately priced and we stuck with "still water" (5€) and did not order any wine. It was four of us and everyone was so happy with their meal choices we wanted to order more for take away. You won't be disappointed when you eat here. Take note that there is a 3€ per person charge And a 12% service charge as well. Overall our bill was 102€ which equaled to about $31 per person in US Money I even heard people near me at other tables say they always have dinner here when they come to ven

We had an amazing dinner. The service was perfect and very helpful. The ambience is very nice and typical for Venice. We enjoyed it so much we are going back again.

This was a hotel recommendation so I am always a bit skeptical. It is right on one of the canals with some gondolas going by so it was a quick walk from our hotel near St Marks Square. The service was very good. The food was excellent, from the fried seafood to the pastas. The pesto with shrimps was especially good, perhaps one of the best pasta dishes I had in the two weeks there. If you are near St. Marks Square, this is worth a detour.

This was right next to our hotel so very convenient. Food was good and staff was nice. 4/5 stars because nothing blew us away. If you're looking for a good meal, go here and you will be happy

Stumbled upon this spot within the first hour of arriving to Venice. Very pleased. Definitely order the house apertif! A peach Bellini! Then enjoyed the caprese and the special which was homemade pasta and black truffle. The best part was sitting on the water watching the gondolas go by.

Many of these seafood pictures were from years ago. They don't have much jow. Service and food was okay.

Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.

So we came here for an early dinner (around 5pm), kitchen is open through! Took a nice table inside by the window. Our Bulldog was welcome as well. Staff/owner very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome here. Inside it's a nice, cosy atmosphere. Good selection of wine on the menu as well. For all kinds of budgets. And at the counter a nice display of all kinds of seafood. Lovely place. We've ordered the Crudo di Mare plate and Spaghetti Vongole. And a .375ml bottle of their white house wine, which turned out to be a good pairing with the seafood. Both dishes were excellent! Plenty of Vongole (clams) in the pasta dish, Spaghetti were perfectly cooked. Vongole were nice and fresh and the dish perfectly spiced (not too much, which is good). A real highlight definitely the Crudo di Mare. Two langoustines (so nice and sweet flavour), two red shrimp. scallops, tuna, swordfish, oysters and tuna tartare. All fresh, all tasty. An excellent mix of wonderful fish and seafood. Quality wise along on top with the best ones we've had so far (we love Crudo di Mare). And all is nicely presented. Really made our day, this meal here. After the meal we even got some aperitif on the house. A wonderful place. Feels very relaxed, lots of great items on the menu. And really fair prices, this is a real gem here with great value. And we will definitely be back next time in Venice. Highly recommended!
