Update: After I posted this review and left another message, I did receive a phone call apologizing for not getting back to me. The initial solution proposed was to give me a gift card to buy a bush and plant it in front of the crooked part. I declined. I then described what I believed could be done to fix it. The installer came out and came up with a solution and fixed it the next evening. I am now happy with the way it looks. They ultimately did fix the problem, but I should not of had to post bad reviews in order to get a response. So I have upgraded my rating from a 1 to 2 stars. read more

I had the pleasure of dealing with Jeremy Holcomb, of Reve Exteriors LLC, when I was shopping for a roof for my new home in Monroe. Jeremy was professional and possessed superb product knowledge. Best of all he was able to convey that knowledge to me in a clearly understandable way. He did not try to "oversell" me or pressure me into buying more roof than would have made sense for my relatively modest home. After the appointment was created the first time there was an unfortunate double booking. However they called and scheduled an appointment and got me in the same day they called back. The gentleman who arrived was very personable and friendly. This review has been left without receipt of a quote yet but in review of the great professionalism that was showed during the visit. The guarantee of a set price was what sold us on this company even though the price was quite a bit higher than our other quotes. The warranty looks very impressive. Hopefully that pans out. Now for the bad: The company seemed to have no idea of the local permit and inspection codes...or they were lying to try and save a buck. We had to research the permits and inspection requirements ourselves as the project manager swore they weren't needed. As it was we had to tell the sub contractors they weren't allowed on the property without the permit. When we checked in once a day to find out if the permits had been acquired, our project manager referred us back to our sales rep because we were bothering him too much. A week after the promised start date the permit showed up. The sub contractors did a fabulous job, the roof looks great and they finished the entire project in about 3 days. We were told the inspector would be out in about a week after completion...another lie. We scheduled the inspection ourselves for the next day. All said and done...way too expensive for the hassle. read more

My neighbor was having work done on a roof, and one of the guys from Reve approached me when he saw me outside. Ralph was pleasant and chatty, not solicitous. I'm a controller so the first thing I told him was not to try to sell me. I know I need work done, and I don't need the speil - I just want a real bid. The timing was great because I need A LOT of exterior work done, and ideally I'd get it finished before winter hits. I was in the middle of getting bids and had already had a guy from one of the box stores come out, patronize me horribly, and quote me an insane amount of money. My house is small and in a local neighborhood that is being reclaimed with this market. I don't have a lot of extra money for home improvements, but it's pretty critical to have the exterior building envelope tight. Also, I want to add to the visual and financial value of my home. My single-paned aluminum windows and mossy roof are not helping. I've owned construction businesses and nothing bugs me more than when I get a guy giving me condescending treatment. I also know what a hassle / expense it can be for construction companies to mobilize for small jobs, and I know that workmanship and good materials come with a cost. Price, quality, and terms: you can have two, right? So the day after Ralph approached me, Richard from Reve came out. He was professionally dressed and polite. I felt at ease immediately and we chit chatted about my house while I sized him up. He clearly knew what he was talking about in terms of workmanship and he listened actively while I was explaining the work I wanted to have done, my limited resources, my concerns about the weather coming, and my lack of knowledge about how to prioritize the work that I needed done. After listening to me, he helped me come up with a plan of attack that made sense to me and took into account my limitations and concerns. With the financing partners that Reve uses, I am going to be able to put my work on a payment plan that will work within my budget. I didn't feel patronized remotely, and it was evident that he takes pride in his work and his company. Reading the reviews of this company, I see the feedback that we used to get when my ex and I owned a construction restoration company: balking at the cost associated with construction work. I think of the liability, health, and worker's compensation insurance that I used to carry for my employees, the training I used to put my guys through, the costs of disposing of materials, and the expenses incurred with warranty claims. Then I factor in that I am having to have this work done now because of the slipshod work that we put into this house that I thought was going to be a turn-and-burn flip ten years ago when we bought it. Whether I end of living in it or turn it into a rental, I don't want to have to continually budget money to replace substandard work and materials completed by fly-by-night companies. After seeing the stringent qualifications that Reve puts into its workmanship and warranty, I feel good about the choice to pay a real company that can offer genuine warranty and repair as party of its course of doing business. Richard (Macklin) is a great representative for Reve, and if you decide to give them a shot, hopefully he'll be the guy that you get to do your bid. I would have given them a five, but I haven't had their crews on my jobsite yet. I'll check back in when they've completed the work. read more

Sending two of your solicitors out to our neighborhood at 8pm in the middle of January does not bode well for gaining customers; especially when they make it sound as if they are being "neighborly", but only looking for a sale. I'm not one to be easily impressed by sales people/companies, but, Reve definitely left a great impression. First of all, I hate having people knock on my door. 99% of the time, they're pushy, annoying, and I can't wait to close the door. However, a gentleman from this company knocked on my door and actually had my attention. He was dressed nicely (shirt buttoned and tucked in), used full sentences, and didn't try to speed talk his way through a canned speech. He asked questions and actually listened to the answers! That was a breath of fresh air! The salesman who came to my house for my appointment showed up on time, was very polite, dressed like a professional, and wasn't pushy. He gave us time to talk about options and he answered what seemed like a million questions for us. The financing they offer was a huge plus and the salesman was knowledgeable about the options. Now, as impressed as I was with the Reve employees I interacted with, that doesn't even touch how floored I am with the finished product! The roof and gutters look incredible!!!! I'm looking forward to having my parents' roof done by them soon. read more

Update 10-18-16 **Company apologized for not sending the check and said they would be sending it out. They also tried to pay us off for our reviews in the amount of $350.00 and when we did not except it accused me of black mailing Reve Exteriors for more money! AT NO POINT IN TIME DID I ASK FOR ANYTHING IN ADDITION TO WHAT YOU OWE ME! Your company is who brought up the additional money! Best thing this company could do at this point is send me my check and never contact me again! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! Roof was very expensive. For a 1300 square foot house, we paid over $14,000. We signed all the paperwork and were told the work would be three weeks out. However, we got a call in less than a week, BUT from a completely different company, H&B Exteriors out of Gresham, OR. Dominica (office gal), didn't know our names, and was completely unprofessional and rude from the get go. Dominica stated that H&B Exteriors was going to be installing our roof that Monday. Our first reaction, who the heck is H&B Exteriors? Called our salesman Brian and got run around on why the work was being contracted out (this was never mentioned). We decided overall, we weren't going to fight it. Monday morning (7/18/16) showed up and the crew was to be at our house at 8:00 am. 9:30 rolled around and we got a call from Dominica stating that the crew got really behind over the weekend and wasn't going to be at our house until Thursday. Once again we didn't complain. Thursday (7/21/16) rolled around and the crew showed up and started work. They finished the roof in two days, but at the closure sign off, H&B wanted us to sign blank documents that clearly did not state the final price we were paying for plywood added to the roof. We refused to sign and Brian had to come back out. Brian came out the following week with paperwork to sign, but the paperwork was filled out incorrectly. The foreman on sight told (and showed me) me that 8 total pieces of plywood were replaced on the roof. Our contract stated that Reve Exteriors would cover 3 pieces of plywood, but Reve tried to charge us for 12 pieces of plywood minus the three they cover (so all 8 pieces that were actually used). We pointed this out and adjustments were made to the addendum and we were supposed to receive a check for a refund in the amount of $162.60. Roof was finished being installed on July 22, 2016. Today is October 15, 2016 and we have still not seen a refund check. To top all of this off, H&B Exteriors caused cracking and holes to our sheetrock on the vaulted ceiling in the living room and master bedroom upstairs. The crew also beat up and put rather large dents and dings in our gutters all the way around the house. We brought up the issues of our gutters and sheetrock the day the work was complete to both H&B and Brian. We were told by Brian specifically that the damage would be addressed immediately. We waited a month and nothing happened. We had three appointments with H&B Exteriors that they didn't show up for and another with the Foreman where he did show up and said he would bring a special tool to straighten out the gutters and a Home Depot gift card for our time...That was the last we heard from him. I tried calling and texting Dominica after waiting 30-45 minutes after the time they were to be at our house and no response. The next day after making complaints to Brian they would call and apologize and try to come back out another time, but again wouldn't show. At this point we complained yet again to Brian and another guy by the name of James got involved, who was an employee of DaBella Exteriors out of Beaverton, DOES REVE DO ANY OF THEIR OWN WORK!? **Reve did replace our gutters only on half of our house, but left a mess and destroyed our plants around the house. I also had asked for them to tell me when they would be there, and the did not contact me at all prior to doing work on my house. read more

I'd done a lot of research and had a good idea of what needed to be done, so I was comfortable discussing options. He was patient with my questions and willing to work with me on pricing. Had windows installed by this company with very few hiccups....but in the end they made everything right!!!

They are expensive! They do nice work! They also misrepresent their products to make the sale. Just had a roof put on a house I just bought in a short sale. The salesman tells me the roofing material "is now copper infused to control moss growth". I did ask why copper when zinc is what stops the moss. The salesman says "the copper stops what the moss lives on." I thought, Okay, maybe! When the job was completed I had a bundle of shingles left over the contractor left with me. I looked all over the package for any mention of this "copper infusion" thinking, this would be a major selling point the manufacture would proudly display on the package. Not A Word! Worst sales experience my wife and I have ever had. Going to a sleazy used car dealership would have been more pleasant. None of our questions were answered, all we got was sales talking points and the information we requested was avoided. From the start of the process all the sales person was interested in is how much of a monthly payment we could afford, before he had even priced out the job. His cell phone did not work at our location so he asked for our wifi password saying he couldn't make the contacts he need to correctly do the bid if I didn't give it to him. I gave it to him and when he left we were so uncomfortable with him having it we change the password. We have a 1300 sq ft house and to re-roof it and re-side 1/3 of the house they wanted $45,000, but not to worry we could make payments, after we had already told him we were not going to finance this work several times. I could go on and on, but I hope you get the message, it is my opinion you stay completely away from this company, Dabella. The only reason this guy gets 1 star is because I could not post this review without it! Update: Company representative says, "It didn't happen", but the company goes on to say, "We'll be following up with this specialist via corrective action and training so that this doesn't happen moving forward." I will leave my review in stages, I will continue to update this post as my project moves along so please scroll down for latest update! 3/26/17 I am in stage one of the process which is dealing with the sales person Jon Carter and manager Brian Patterson and so far it's been a pretty good experience. Jon is very easy to deal with not pushy like a used car sales person he is very knowledgeable about the process that is involved for me as the home owner and the different products and warrantys that are available. It doesn't mean that a shingle has a 50 year warranty that it'll cover everything there's a lot of fine print and a lot depends on the who does the install well thank god i did some research and figured out that reve exteriors is the company out in the Vancouver Wa area that is MASTER ELITE CERTIFIED with GAF and only they can offer the GOLDEN PLEDGE WEATHER STOPPER WARRANTY the best in the industry it's not a pro rated warranty like most shingle manufacturers offer like Owens corning or Certainteed!! I had other company's give me quotes on my roof project and they acted like they can offer the golden pledge warranty also but after digging around we found out they could only offer the SYSTEMS PLUS WEATHER STOPPER WARRANTY not the GOLDEN PLEDGE WARRANTY and as a home owner I need my roof covered end to end in workmanship and the product it self and if something were to happen in that fifty years let's say shingles blow off, starts to leak water or major discoloration in a few shingles I can sleep well at night knowing that I will be covered 100%!!! Reve exterior and Jon Carter has met my expectations so far in stage one of my project in explaining everything from the materials involved and the process. We will be making a color selection this week and will move onto stage two of the project which is setting up a date for the contractors to show up for the tear down and so I will continue to come and leave true feed back of my experience with reve exteriors. 3/30/17 Color of the roof has been chosen Jon and i spoke on the phone and I asked for a immediate update once he put in the color/order with his office what kind of timeline I'm looking at, Jon said he would be in touch over the weekend and or latest Monday 4/3/17 with me. 4/3/17 It's Monday night I have not heard from reve exteriors or Jon! Still waiting on a bid for my gutters also 4/7/17 I made some phone calls after being a little frustrated to say the least and got some answers eventually, products ordered and I was given a date of 4/17/17 for product delivery. Still waiting on Jon for my gutter estimate luckily I'm in no rush for that but none the less still waiting! 4/11/17 Received a call from DABELLA install Jodi out of the blue confirming the product is on its way and still looking good for delivery on 4/17/17 which was a nice piece of mind for us seeing that we matter and that I don't have to keep calling them but that they actually thought of us and just wanted to touch base. She said if I have any concerns to deal with her directly and she will get answers for me! Went from 3/26 excited to frustrated 4/3 and back to excited 4/11 for our new roof again!!! Can't wait 4/17/17 Roofline truck srs54100 from Lake Oswego showed up to deliver the product as scheduled for the pm and they were professionals from start to finish!!!! Safety was there #1 priority from not over loading one spot on my roof to finding all the studs to nail down the roof jacks to utilizing the proper safety harnesses while up there, they were even concerned about my driveway with the big heavy 50k truck they brought.....Highly recommend these guys!!! Side note I'm still waiting on Jon Carter to call me back and to get a quote on my gutters. 4/18/17 Tear down begins, angel showed up with his crew introduced him self and explained what the process will be and what the plan is for this week with weather permitting! He explained the different products that was delivered as I had a bunch of questions on what's what. Angel and his crew made quick work of the tear down it was raining off and on so he made sure my plywood wasn't getting wet he had a huge tarp up there to protect it until the tiger paw barrier was put down. So far I am very pleased with the crew, 100% professional and there great with my two young boys also which is a added plus!! Highly recommend angel and his crew with reve/dabella. 4/21/17 I had a little concern with my awning extended from my exterior garage the ply wood is pretty rotten and Alex Huff in charge of install with reve just made my phone call to him such a delight on this fri afternoon! He said we'll take care of it and I come home today 4/22 very satisfied with the awning!! What we talked about during the sales consult 3/26 is what I got! Thank you so much Alex!!!! DaBella - Roofing Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Dealing with this company would have been almost comical if it were not so entirely frustrating. I ordered windows from one of their representatives that came to my rental home in Olympia in September. It wasn't until February that the job was completed; a total of 5 exasperating months. During the process Reve Exteriors never called me once. I had to initiate all communications about obtaining a critical measurement and the status of my project. I was tossed around to one "project coordinator" after another none of whom ever called me back. When the windows finally arrived the install team brought the wrong window for one location and it took another two weeks of pleading calls to get the final window installed. After the installation I finally got a call from Reve Exteriors - to ask for the remaining money! I meet yet another representative at the Olympia house and was told numerous bald faced lies. She told me the reason for being transferred to so many different project coordinators was that one of the coordinators had died suddenly. Not true! She told me if I didn't pay immediately the State of Washington would take possession of my property "tomorrow". Not true! She also said "we know you will write a negative on-line review but don't bother. We will just bury it with fake positive reviews". Unbelievable! This company "employs" a call center to obtain leads. I am on the Do Not Call Registry and received a call at 8:10AM on SATURDAY! I choose to request information to find out what company would use this service and then received a call at 9PM and again at just after 8AM on a weekday from a Reve Exterior call center. If they do their work properly, they also need to obtain leads legally and without invading privacy. I would have contacted them directly regarding this but they don't provide their e-mail address or direct phone numbers on their websites. read more

I setup an appointment via homeadviser on 10/15/2017 and Derek form reve exteriors called me next day around 9am to confirm the appointment and to get more details like why i'm replacing my windows, etc. and that was all good until he started telling me that both me and my wife had to be present because he wanted us to be on the same page. As I understand this is their company policy for both spouses be present at the window consultation "to make sure we are all on the same page" but reve exteriors' business is windows not couples counseling, whether my wife and I are on the same page or not is none of their business. By the way, my wife and I are on the same page and whatever decision I make, she'll be on board with it because apparently she trusts me more than reve exteriors. To have both spouses present at the sales pitch is very old trick because there is a greater chance for them to sell you something when you both are present (I know exactly how it works but I won't bore you with the details here) but what encouraging is that more and more people know about that trick and less and less people getting caught by it p.s. homeadviser would not post your reviews about the business that you do not hire read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service that we have received from Reve Exteriors and would NOT recommend this company to anyone looking to get any work done on their home. Their salesman promised several conditions that were not met. We were specific when we purchased the roof in late March that we would not want any work done on our home until we came back from vacation in May, he assured us that he would relay the info, & that since the roof we ordered is the most expensive & "best," it takes 30-45 days to arrive anyway. The information was NOT relayed & I received a call from Reve stating that they needed to come out immediately to replace the roof. The man on the phone even went as far as to say that I signed a contract stating I was to get the work done on THEIR schedule (or we could be charged for storage), but was unable to tell me where on the contract it stated that. They were extremely pushy/rude about the time constraint and were pushing coming to do the work on our home while we were out of town which my husband and I were NOT comfortable with. Regardless, at this point my husband & I figured let's just get it out of the way. We had to change our vacation plans & push for later dates, so instead of taking a 4-hour flight, we endured a 16 hour drive (you cannot fly after a certain stage in your pregnancy & pushing the dates back put me over that restriction). Per the salesman's promise, the roof replacement was supposed to be a 2-day project. He stated they work quickly & always order extra product to ensure the contractor has all the supplies needed to finish the job. We were scheduled for 5/22/17 & 5/23/17. We were set to leave on our vacation on 5/26/17. On 5/23, the contractor told us that Reve did not order enough material & they could not finish the job. I called Reve that same day at 3:04pm MST, understandably upset as I was under the impression this "special shingle" had a 30-45 day ordering time & we were living with no roof. I was told they would look into the issue & they would give me a call right back. 2 1/2 hours later, no call. I called again at 5:39pm MST & was assured it would be reviewed with management that same day & I'd get a call back in the next 10 mins. My call was not returned until 5/24 at 11:51am MST. Although no work was done on my home that day, I was assured that the material was on its way & the roof would be done by 5/26 end of day. Just in time for our vacation, right? WRONG. The company sent a trailer with our materials, & left tire burn all over our driveway, drove onto our front yard running our grass, AND drove onto our neighbor's yard as well, ruining their grass. We have found spots on our driveway showing broken concrete from the trailer. My husband was appalled as he is also a truck driver with a longer trailer & has never caused that much damage. The 25th came around & the contactor told us our roof would not be done until the weekend, & possibly into the upcoming week. I was furious. I called Reve again on the 25th at 4:46pm MST stating that I was promised the project would be done by end of day on the 26th, & that I continue to hear different time frames from them vs. the contractor. They finally came clean & stated they used a drone to come out & size the roof of our home, & that's the information they use to order the supplies. Apparently the drone scanned our neighbor's roof, & that's the reason why there was a shortage in supplies ordered. No one at Reve cross-referenced the address but oddly enough, this wasn't a problem when they were calculating how much to charge me, as I did get charged enough to cover the supplies needed for MY home (how convenient). Reve confirmed (same as the contractor) the project would be done by end of weekend, or by the following week. I was also told that they would review the situation with management, & review compensating us for our troubles. I was promised a call back, it has now been 12 DAYS & I never got a call. We cut our trip short as we were uncomfortable with our home being worked on without our presence, we came back on 5/31. It is now 6/6, (way past the weekend deadline of 5/28 & "next week" deadline of 6/2) & not a single roofer has come to do any work on our home. Our neighbors also stated they didn't see anyone do any work on our roof while we were gone. So, we've been living with a partial roof. Note* I remember the salesman quoting me a price, when I asked if that included interest (financing) he said yes. NO. Our payment is $50/mo higher than what was quoted. Reve has clearly lied to me-promising the roof would be done many times, knowing they didn't have the supplies to finish the job. Salesman made lots of promises that weren't met & Reve has been pushy/rude, prioritizing their time frame over customer service. They don't return calls & the work has been messy with our driveway, yard, neighbor's yard, & my tulips & roses being destroyed. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. WILL NEVER USE REVE AGAIN. read more

If I could give this company no stars I would. Holy rip off!!! The only reason we went with Reve is because they offered financing... now thinking back we should have just pulled out a personal loan. We got quotes for $6-8,000 and they charged us $13,000!!!!!!! Even the contractors they hired who did our roof said we got ripped off and that we should have been only charged half the price. It was a complete sh!t show from the get go. They hired a company to come put a new roof on our house and the guys didn't show up for TWO DAYS IN A ROW!!! My husband took both days off work, which obviously he did not get paid for. Right off the bat we were out $ from him taking those days off! Then they had to hire another contractor because the first one was not working out... time is money people!! When the second contractors showed up, they spent a lot of time waiting for their supplies that Reve was supposed to have ordered and delivered. What should have taken them three days took them a whole week because they spent so much time waiting for supplies. After they were done, my husband inspected the roof and low and behold it was not what we had picked out. The flashing was wrong, the vents were wrong... the whole situation was just wrong! It took them over a month to get someone out to fix their mistakes and well, they didn't fix it. Getting the financing set up was such a hassle. We've been getting the run around for months and months. Seriously this company seems so organized and professional with their sales guy, but please people to not fall for it! It is the worst! They say you get what you pay for, but not in this case. We paid double for a crappy job, stress over financing and getting ripped off, stress of getting the job done to our expectations. And still we are not happy! If I could go back and do it all over with a different company I would. Now we just want to pay off this stupid roof and be done with this horrible company. Please people, do not get your work done with this company!!!!!!!!!! My wife and I recently purchased a siding job from reve exteriors and the material was great top quality. The only issue that I had with this company is the lack of integrity that their sales representative displayed. After signing a contract, I received a call from the sales rep. wanting more money for the job due to rotten wood and labor fees for the job. I complied with him trusting that he was telling the truth about the issue. While the contractors were removing my siding my mother in law was with them to see how much damage had been done and to our surprise there was no rotten wood. Quickly after hearing this, I contacted my sales rep. to let him know that the information that he gave me was false. He then told me that the extra money was for labor cost. After the job was done, my wife and I inspected the work to make sure that we were getting what we had paid for and that they did it the way we wanted it done. While examining the final product, we noticed some minor discrepancies in the job so we contacted the sales rep. who initially helped. He conveyed to us that any issues with the job would be fixed and that you need to make sure you get what you paid for this was not the case. Our sales rep. deceived us again by saying that there is nothing else that they can do and that the job is final. Being a big advocate in INTEGRITY, I would not recommend this company to anyone. As a consumer I do not appreciate being lied to especially when I am paying twenty thousand dollars on a product and the company will not do it the way that I want it done or give me quality work. I believe that their sales representatives are a direct reflection of their management and I do not agree with their character or morals. read more

We recently contracted with Reve Exteriors for a new roof. Our old roof was moss-covered and in numerous parts sagging dramatically. I had a conversation with Richard their sales representative over the options and benefits of their GAF-brand roofing system. Like others have said, this part of the sales pitch is laborious and long as they run you through each part of the process in great detail. For me I was pretty impressed by the thoughtfulness of the system as designed and like the idea of a manufacturer-inspected and lifetime-guaranteed product. I'm sure that the end product is more expensive than your average contractor but was of the mind that I wanted things done right so as to not worry over it ever again. So far so good. I have to detract some points, however, for a couple of things: first and foremost, understand if you go with them (for a new roof, anyway) a whole different set of folks will actually come by and do the job (which we halfway understood from other reviews but I guess figured someone from Reve would be present at some point: nope). The problem we had was that the subcontracting team didn't seem well-informed about the finer details of the specific job and didn't seem to be working from the same playbook. Kudos to Richard who did come through for us by contacting the team-leader who then clarified with me some of the ins and outs of the job that we needed to have addressed. If I wouldn't have texted him, however, I think the roofing team would've just gone and automatically done what they do at every job and just thrown up a new roof without addressing the deep sagging that brought about the project in the first place. Second just be aware that the roofers will work very long days to compress the project into as little time as possible. On the one hand this is a positive because the project is over quicker, but it does do a bit to interrupt home life a bit more than we had anticipated. On the positive side of the ledger, we now have a very sharp-looking, distinctive new roof. I'm especially fond of the dimensions the new roof has versus our old flat one and happy with the new vent pipes they replaced along the way as they are now much less noticeable. As far as the main rationale for doing the job in the first place, the half of our roof that was noticeably sagging is now looking very good and healthy and hopefully will stay so for a long time. The quality of the materials, the speed of the project and the thoughtfulness of the whole system are the reasons to go with these guys. Just a couple minor caveats as mentioned but all in all I'd say we're happy with the work they did. read more

We signed a contract on July 6, 2017 to have new siding on the rear of our house. We were told (in writing) that an installer would be contacting us . The installer was to contact us 5-8 days after signing the contract. Work was to start approximately 5 weeks after signing the contract and be completed approximately 1 week later. Today is August 15th and we have heard nothing. I have called numerous times and left messages, most recently this morning at 9:45 am. So far I have heard from nobody. This all was after paying 25% ($2,822) in cash at time of signing. For this reason I am giving 1 star. I would love to hear from somebody and then actually have the work started, and completed, satisfactorily. If this happens, I will gladly change my review. UPDATE (8-30-17) on 8-15-17 I wrote the above review. Shortly after posting, I received a call from someone at Reve scheduling our house to be measured the next day. Shortly after that call, I received one from customer service. 8-22-17 I have not heard from anyone at Reve regarding start date or anything else. By now, it is 6 1/2 weeks after signing. I placed a call to customer service. I called again on the 23rd and 24th. I finally hear from customer service. I was told that the materials had been ordered and work would be started approximately 9-18-17 - this is 10 1/2 weeks after signing - not 5 weeks after signing. I asked if there was anyway work could start sooner because by 9-18-17 the weather could already be bad which would delay it even longer. We were to hear back and have heard nothing else from Reve. We paid our 25% down ($2,822), as requested, upon signing. Approximately 5 weeks after signing is not the same as 10 1/2 weeks. If something doesn't happen by Sept. 1st, I think the contract should be cancelled with a full refund of our down payment ASAP. This leaves us with very little time to take care of our siding this year." UPDATE (9-12-17): Since I last posted, I received a call from customer service (8-31-17). They told me that Alex would contact me. I did hear from Alex on the 31st and he indicated the materials had been ordered Aug. 16 or 17. He said that the 9-18-17 start date was based on when they thought the materials would be received. So still nothing definite for starting the project. He told me he would call and see if there was anyway possible to start sooner. He said he would let me know. Yesterday (9-11-17), I called Reve and asked for Alex. He wasn't available so I left a message to have him call. I called back about an hour later and was told he still was out. I again left a message for Alex. Today, I again called for Alex at around 3:30 pm and was told he was on the phone. I again left a message for him to call me. I briefly told the person on the phone why I was calling. She indicated that she put URGENT on the message. It is now 5:30 pm and I have again heard nothing. I have doctor appointments and tests tomorrow but will be checking my phone as often as possible. If I don't hear anything by first thing Thursday morning I will be requesting voiding the contract with immediate refund of our 25% deposit. I will be calling and making a complaint to contractor licensing and the State Attorney General. I am not sure if there are other avenues to take. read more

the sales man was great and gave us a good price .I had two different crews at my home the first one was great but were unable to finish they made arrangements for another crew to come out and told my husband and I they would ether call or come by Monday morning no one showed or called .Tuesday morning the show up my kids were out side they came into my yard started looking at the windows and asked my 7 year old to get me . they never knocked on the door or told me their names I still don't know who they are the smashed all the flowers in front of my house they asked me if I knew what they were suppose to do to finish my windows they left trash by one of the windows . the rapping they did has gaps all over I've call the company 3 times in days they told my yesterday the would send some one out to fix it and asked me to e-mail the pictures I have to them my server sent me a message telling me the addresses I sent everything to was spam and or does not exist . the #2 crew also forgot a ladder and used mine with out asking if it was okay read more

I knew the time was coming for a new roof - the day every homeowner fears. One evening a rep knocked on my door and explained who he was and a bit about their product. I researched them as soon as he left and they are very highly regarded in the business. I am now getting a new roof. Mo more shoddy $450 repairs EVER! With our winds, I generally did that twice a year! Being an engineer I appreciate their system. It's not the same materials a general roofer uses and their installation is guaranteed - for 50 years and up to 135 mph. If a shingle blows off, I get a whole new roof FOR FREE. Listen to the guy who knocks on your door. And their Black Friday special saved me $4200! My job has a will not exceed quote, it's less than $18,000, and I have a 3000 Sq ft house. read more

We were looking for quotes for a new roof and they sent a salesman who was nice but he was just in it for a sale. Stated he used to be a roofer but when asked specific questions he would totally go off in another direction. He then gave us a quote which was $10,000 more than the 2 other quotes we had! He then said if we sign NOW we would get a discount. Really?? Why would a reputable company need to sneaky sell that way if they are truly the best?? Note, I would give 3.5 stars, but since that is impossible, I rounded up. Our experience with Reve's began in May, 2016 in response to a wind storm that effected many the fall prior. A sales rep was scheduled and came to our house right on time as specified to provide a quote. After looking at the services, the guarantee on the roof, and agreeing on a price, we decided to go with Reve's. This was not the first quote we had gotten (having received two others who were both from reputable companies), but we were impressed with the service, and they were also more flexible with financing and able to offer us a better interest rate than other places. They offered to give me a good price and asked that I give them a review at the end of the services received. So here is my evaluation. The good: Accurate quote: We paid the dollar amount we agreed on and there were no surprises. This was a huge bonus. They add some contingencies, from what I understand, so that small unexpected things are covered and they shouldn't have to change the price unless there is something major, which there was not in our case. Good quality roof: The roof looks very good, and the 1-time transferable lifetime warranty is a huge plus. Very friendly and helpful customer service: While there were certain slow aspects of this process, every time I reached out to the office to find out what was going on or have questions answered, I was spoken to with great courtesy and all of my questions were answered. The bad: Time frame issues: while this was my first time dealing with a major contractor job, as I have heard, scheduling can be complicated, especially in a year like this where seemingly my whole area is trying to get a new roof. Needless to say, I was told it would be completed in 4-6 weeks when we signed the contract, and it was not completed until 3 months later. This didn't end up being a problem for us, but keep it in mind if time is of the essence for you. Scheduling issues: I received a call two months after the contract was signed and the contractor left a message on my phone saying he could start on the roof, just to give him a call as soon as possible. When I called him back, it was the next day, but less than 24 hours, and he told me he had already booked five other houses in front of ours. This was frustrating to me, so I called the office and they were very nice, told me they would put a note on my file that they should leave a 24-hour window for scheduling. Speaking to my husband, who is a process engineer, he felt that it would be better if Reve's did the scheduling and just gave that schedule to their contractors instead of asking the contractors to do it, causing these types of problems. That being said, we waited another month and the next time I got a call I jumped on it. It was the same contractor and he completed our roof, was very nice, professional and flexible with us. Sometimes the office is hard to reach and/or takes a while to respond: Since that time, I have tried to get ahold of the accounting office to get a copy of an invoice, and have been unsuccessful, but the job is done. Overall, while as with any contractor there are bound to be bumps in the road, they were handled professionally and taken care of. I am satisfied with the job and happy that my roof is finally fixed and has a good guarantee. read more

If you value your home and hard earned savings do not do business with this company. No follow up, no inspections, no problem fixing, no phone being answered. In short nothing the salespersons said was done and the workers on my roof were not skilled with the tools they were using and no one inspected the work after it was done. I could have done this job myself instead I decided to put my money into local business and payed for it twice. Go with your gut instinct and do your research. read more

The lengthy sales presentation was all about how great Reve Exteriors is, their experience, training, certification, the quality GAF products they use and so on. In the 3 1/2 hour sales pitch there was no mention the job would be turned over to a subcontractor, so it was a surprise when the workers showed up in a truck with another roofing company name on it. I now believe Reve Exteriors doesn't actually have their own work crews, they use subcontractors for all their jobs. I rate the quality of the craftsmanship at 3.5 out of 5 stars, maybe 4 at best. I was told I would get the best quality possible. I was told in the sales pitch I could discuss with the workers how I wanted things done, however I couldn't do that because the workers didn't speak English. I wasn't satisfied with the way some things were done, for the price I was expecting better. No follow up by the company. However the end result is the roof looks fine. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. In November 2016 we had a rep come out to give us an estimate. The rep was very nice answered all my questions and concerns. After finalizing everything I asked to have it installed after the holiday due to having family in. I was informed it would be no problem as they were about 6 weeks out but could change due to weather. Nope constant calls from the scheduler who did not understand we wanted to push it back. Very rude and worse customer service. Finally was able to get it pushed back to the middle of January. Problems only got worse. The installers needed electric so I open my garage. They damages a table that took 3 weeks for it to be redone all that hard work gone. They also broke the tip off our air compressor, I found bundles of nails throughout my yard , multiple shingle pieces,we had an extension cord come up missing and it was not a cheap orange one either, roof does not layflat it looks like complete shit. I have multiple areas that look buckled that has been like that since day one. When i called i was in disbelieve how bad I was treated. They put a cheap 10 extension cord on my front porch, all the scheduler said to me is we don't steal. I was informed my roof would start to lay flat once it heats up. Well here it is September 2017 and my roof looks the same if not worse since they did it. I wasted over $10,000 for this to be done and now I'm stuck. I have called multiple times and all I get is damn music for hours and that's if they don't hang up on me. It's to the point I will have to just get an attorney involved. I would never do business with these people again. I don't even recommend them to friends or family and I am embarrassed of my roof. They do not bring the dreams. I will be more than happy to show you the pictures of my home. Horrible job. read more

Reve Exteriors completed my new roof, and did so in great fashion. Firstly, I have been in sales for over 10 years, and know a used car salesman when I see one. Richard presented their system and all its benefits without a hard sell, and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and worked with me to make everything affordable. Secondly, I had a number of contractors bid my project, another process I know a lot about having owned my home for ten years as well. Reve's product was far superior and provides the security of an multi layer roof system with ridge vent and breathable underlayment, plus a 50 year warranty (the longest you'll find on a roof). The financing was flexible, and something other contractors did not provide. The installers were efficient, and, when an issue arose (for example, they didn't install a ridge vent on the garage, as was offered when signing the contract), Richard saw to it that everything was resolved. There are no more leaks in my home, the roof looks excellent, and I won't have to worry about another roof for 50 years. You probably can find cheaper roofs, but you'll get what you pay for. This crew does it right, does not cut corners, and you know you'll have a solid roof over your head for years to come. read more
