I am beginning stages of window replacement. DaBella knocked on my door, so I said sure to an estimate. I should have known better than to expect only that. Instead, the sales guy (who was very nice, btw) was half an hour late and did not respect the timeframe I told him I had. Led off the customary rah-rah, DaBella's not like the other guys speeh, followed up at long last with one price. When I said I had no plan to make a decision on the spot proceeded to "call the office" to see what he could do to sweeten the deal. Twice. He did get it down a good $7K from original, but I would have to agree to write reviews and/or let them use my house for before/after. Eh. It's fine. I get it, but for me the tactics did the opposite to what I figure they're intended to do. Big turn off. I would rather an honest quote from the start, and reasonable time to make a decision on such a big purchase. read more

This company gave my husband and I the very worst sales experience of our lives. We set up time to get a quote on our roof, expecting them to inspect it and hand us a quote in 30 mins (which has been the case with every other project we've had done on our house). A guy came over (perfectly nice dude), and started inspecting. It took probably 20 minutes, and then he had me sit down with him so he could pitch Dabella. He went into the whole company history, all the warranty information, the product, everything. Lots of fluff, & it truly was just a hardcore sales pitch given without very much regard for our time. It was pretty clear that he was trained extensively in the steps of this pitch, & this is just how Dabella makes their reps do it. My husband told him that we were looking to get the roof replaced for 10-15 thousand bucks, and he made it pretty clear that he wanted the conversation to be quick. After taking TWO HOURS AND 20 MINUTES of our time, he told us the roof would be THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. He came over at 5:45, and I'm not kidding, by the time he left I had to start getting ready for bed (who needs dinner?). He knocked out ALL of our free time for absolutely no reason. Just to give us a quote that he knew would be 2x our budget. I've worked at a company with very similar practices before (guess why I quit?), and can say with confidence that their strategy is to take up LOADS of your time, make you build rapport (i.e. fake trust) with your salesman, hit you with a WAY over market-priced product, and pressure you into saying yes before you can shop around & realize what you're signing on for. They know that if they can't get you to say YES in your first meeting with them, they're never going to hear from you again. From my own experience, I KNOW that their ideal customer is someone they can take advantage of, & someone who doesn't know any better. There's SO much more I could say, but I'll end it there. Keep searching for quotes. Thoroughly displeased with my contract/work with DaBella. First, they're liars to get sales. I was told my siding was so bad it needed replaced, with full teardown, due to it being a fire hazard. The area supervisor, Chris , now assures me that it didn't need the teardown and wasn't so bad and could be used as the substrate for the new siding. Unfortunately, that was just the start of the frustration. They show up unannounced multiple times to deliver supplies. Then they showed up and started wrapping my house immediately. It wasn't until I questioned it unop arriving home and they took it down to examine what they were covering...at least there. Who knows if they did a thorough job. Back and forth with Chris was a frustration.I gave up and said just put the stupid siding on. My mistake. I get to do the touchups apparently. I would expect a $34000 project to not need owners to do touchups immediately. Further, when told a trash trailer will be delivered and a porta potty, and it's this big teardown and replacement, the price seemed ok. Stupid me, I didn't keep searching for quotes. They SOUNDED honest. Boy how I was wrong. Oh and they offered me a nondisclosure agreement for $1000 refund. Nope. The world deserves honesty. Danielle stopped by our house after seeing tarps on our roof, storm caused a leak in the roof. She talked to my wife and inspected our roof and went over the problems. She then came up with a worse case scenario quote and went over options and financing. She also spent time explaining about the company, their warranties and products. She came back a few days later to explain all the offerings to me as I was not home the day she first stopped by. Very professional and informative and a little cheaper than a friend thought it was going to cost us to have our roof done, he's done roofing before. I was in the mindset to get new siding for my home. I was leaning on side of doing it myself though I have no idea what I'm doing. I set an appointment with Dabella instead. It is way to big of a project for an amature. They came to my home did an inspection and then sat with me and explained in great detail what they found upon the inspection of my home. They went over in great detail and exceptional knowledge what my options are. They answered any questions I had. I felt comfortable and at ease with the team. I am beyond excited to see the final results of the siding that Dabella is scheduled to install. The team members of Debella have been amazing. I highly recommend Dabella and the phenomenal team for your home improvement check list. They have gone above and beyond for me. The respect they have show me as a USN veteran is unwavering. Do not waste your time with this company! I called and SPECIFICALLY asked if they do vinyl siding repair and the customer service rep said yes and scheduled an estimate. I waited over 45 minutes and they never showed! I called and they apologized and rescheduled for the next day and the tech showed up and said we don't do vinyl siding. What a terrible experience! First the sales guys come on New years eve to discuss a free estimate. the 20 minute quote took 3 hours because their software didnt load. when it said, they said $72k, then said they could get it to $65k, then $38k, then finally $28k, all after calling the office several times for better numbers. After signing a mountain of pwk, I gave them my deposit and they said see you in 6 weeks. 6 weeks later I get a letter and a check in the mail stating they cancelled my contract and refunded me. No explanation or phone call. When I called my sales person, he said he had been told that the GM Chris called and talked to me and told me I had to pay another $10k because they "underpriced the job". That alleged phone call NEVER happened. It was a lie. Also, of course, there is no local phone number to the local servicing office and when you call customer service it says long wait times, then leave a message or call another time and hangs up! Oh boy I really feel like I dodged a bullet here and hope everyone can avoid doing business with a company like this. WOW! read more

Sold me on a huge presentation of all the awesome window styles and colors they offer, My wife and I make a selection and a 20,000 dollar window replacement deal. We signed a contract, chose the style, specific color etc, paid our 3,000 down. Then the BAIT AND SWITCH! Days later Dominic called and says they don't do the color on the outside and we would get white only. I said no deal, he then called back and they agreed to honor the contract and color. Then 5+ weeks with no communication from them, we call to see what's up and they tell us they canceled the contractual deal, while still holding our money! I'm giving one star only because I have to. We had a young gentleman come out to give us an estimate on replacement of our roof. After spending time on the roof he came in to tell us all about his company and what they could provide. He spent an hour and a half trying to sell us his services after we'd told him up front that we were not making a decision we were only gathering estimates. By this time he'd lost our business even if it had been within our price range. We do not like pushy salesmen so no matter how good his product is he had turned us off. We finally had to get rude and started cooking our supper in order to get him to leave. An hour and a half to get an estimate and then it was just scribbled on a piece of paper. read more

We were not pleased with our DaBella experience. Some things were done well (install, mostly) and other things poorly (sales, communication). The sales team talked a great game, agreeing with our choices and pointing out the fact that our choice of color (white) was extremely easy to procure, so no problem there. The time frame was tight as we were expecting guests for a week, but we were told it could be done based on the simplicity (2 adjacent baths with only new inserts to be installed) and the color choice. Well, it wasn't done on time. We had to wait until our guests had come and gone and the holidays were over. There was no communication from DaBella regarding all this. We were told to expect a flurry of calls or texts, getting everything together for us. We did all the reaching out, getting little in reply. The sales person (David Franke) pretty much disappeared after he set things up. The Project Manager (Sierra) did nothing until after the entire project was completed, asking us for payment. What was she managing? The installers were very fast and efficient, completing the work in one day. The contact for installation (Chance) reached out to us making sure that the time/day would work. The next day Sierra called, telling us to expect a call from the installers. Too late! Our only complaint with the installation was there was virtually no cleanup afterwards. They left a water key sticking up out of the shutoff valve in the front yard, and various pieces of trash in the street and driveway in front of the house. The bathrooms were also extremely dirty and dusty afterwards, so we had to clean up before we could use them. Bottom line: the install finally looks great but the sales promises and poor communication detracted from the experience. There was also a huge disconnect between the installers and the company. They were given the wrong address (sales staff) and had to call to find us the day of the install. They also didn't include a specific shower fixture in both bathrooms that we asked for, because it was in the attachment to the contract. Thankfully, they did come back the next day and put those fixtures in. As a last insult, DaBella sent us a coupon for a free bag of coffee to be delivered to us, using a coupon code for Black Rifle Coffee. It didn't work, so no coffee, but no surprise. read more

It's 30 degrees outside and you see me with a baby on her hip and you want to go on about how my roof has build up and all my neighbors are having work down no thank you. They came to our door to pass out info and made the big mistake of giving them a phone number to follow up on getting a CASUAL quote for our windows to potentially get replaced. I read about the company more and pricing and decided to not move forward with any quote at this time, but thanked them for their time. Over the last 7-8 months that I can remember back to when they first dropped by, they have been calling 2-3 times daily. I finally blocked the main number, only to find they began calling from a secondary number, which is also now blocked. They NEVER leave a message. They'll just keep calling until there's an answer. Surprised for the cost, the poor service received. They left the scraps and garbage and not cleaned up till complained. The color is off from the rest of the house. A trim piece fell of a day after they left. They never return to put on properly. The good thing is they didn't strip all the electrical and telephone, cable lines off. I didn't have to call an electrician to put all back together. I had to repair only one electrical connection. They say they are the only sellers in the area of various products: LIE They sell you on a shitty product hoping you don't realize how inferior it is. I purchased 3 new windows in middle of 2019. I ordered Preservation Krypton filled 3 layers of tempered glass windows as the rep sold on its heat insulation capabilities. He pretended to call the office in front of me, and got 20% discount or so without me asking, just to give extra pressure. The day after purchase was made, I asked the sales rep for details and his tone flipped 180 degrees. He didn't want to come out to talk about it. When the product arrived, there were many discrepancies from my order. The windows were 2 layers instead of 3 and the glass were not tempered. I asked for discount, and Chris Rodarte, the GM, offered only $200 discount out of $7400 order. I wanted to talk to the owner, so he gave me number of production manager, knowing that he doesn't have negotiation power, hoping I'll just waste my time and finally pay up. The nice production manager actually talked to financial department and approved for $500 discount. But when Chris came back a second time, he refused to honor the $500 discount, and offered to 'bump up' to $300 instead. Finally I settled at $400 to cut the loss. I'm very sad at how the General Manager, Chris Rodarte was handling the transaction, nickle and dime to protect his commission even when the company clearly made mistakes. Someone knocked on my door and I begrudgingly agreed to a roofing estimate the following day. That person was perfectly nice btw. Someone from the home office called me a few minutes later to confirm. After they confirmed that I'm the home owner and a time for the appointment she asked if my husband would be home... I said "no.....he won't be." Then she asked if I'd like to reschedule for a time when he would be home so he could make decisions. I said "no, he's not the one in this family that deals with home maintenance--that's me." She asked again in some off putting way if I was sure.. Really grossed out by that. I'm an adult and I harbor enough brain capacity to know when I'd like to schedule an appointment and who needs to be present. And now after seeing these reviews I'm not even sure what this company does do well but I'm not interested in it. So yes! These guys aren't cheap. But you get what you pay for. It took us a year of shopping around to finally make a deal with these guys. We bought a house in June 2016, and spent 209k at the time we knew we would be needing a roof in the next 3-5 as told by the appraiser. So we started calling around these guys we the first we called. They came, looked nice. Had pretty books and took 3 hours tell me why they are the best in the area.. I thought " yeah yeah song and dance.. how much ?" When he said 20k !! I damn near sh!t my self laughing. I said no, thanks any way. Everyone told me I should be closer to 8k for my house. Over the year I have at least 9 different roofing companies come and give me prices. Yeah we're less, 8-12k but that didn't have the backing, errant going to do everything Reve was.. and I was noticing neighbors that had roofs put on only a few years ago were saying they were having issues. So now it's may 2017 I told them to come back out if they could do better on the cost. And they did! I'm still paying 16k BUT !!! I will never have to think about my roof again. And it's only costing 152 a month. That's nothing! Plus if I sell my house before it's paid off, I just add the roof cost into the price. Boom down.. I paired closer to 9k Think long term! Then today, a Da Bella representative named Alex Herman came to the appointment to give me more information and different options and quotes. He was super friendly, prompt and nicely dressed. Second, over kill on the installation. Never take the first bid! These guys wanted over $6000 to do a 660 sq.ft.house, REALLY! other roofers estimate was about $2000 to $3000. I requested an estimate for a new roof. The scheduler was very nice and set a day that worked for me. The salesmen showed up at 5pm and started their sales pitch. I told them from the start that they were my first quote and that I would not be making any decisions that day. They were there for almost 3 HOURS!!!! I have 4 young children, including a baby, that needed to be fed and made that very clear around the 2 hour mark. During the presentation the main sales guy kept making little remarks about specific roofing terms or products and when I said I don't know what that was he made me feel like an idiot for not knowing, I'm not a roofer and if I was I would not need you. At the end he gave me an astronomical price and pushed me to say yes right away. When I said that I would need to talk to my wife and would get back to him, he got on the phone with his boss and came back twice with "discounted" prices (like a used car salesman). I again told him that I would not be making any decisions that day. The second guy, who honestly was very nice but only said a few words, offered to call me in a week and follow up. The first guy very rudely said that he would not follow up with me and that if I had any questions I would need to contact him. Even if their prices were reasonable I would not do business with them just based on the experience with the salesman. I had inquired about some work on my home through HomeAdvisor.com one evening and at just a little past 8AM the phone calls started coming in from Rêve! Typically I won't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize so after 3 calls from the same number in less than 5 minutes they left a message. I checked it and it sounded like a call center doing their scheduling for them. I was busy and I hate talking to call centers so I didn't return the call. About 4 hours later another call! Really? Then another that evening. They left 3 voicemails in one day and 2 the following day. The "sales pitch voicemail" was about calling back because they are running specials. Honestly I was turned off by this overzealous calling. Had they left one message and given me a day to respond I would have called them back about scheduling an estimate but after getting called 7 or 8 times in a 48 hr period I didn't have any interest in doing business with them. They also don't have the greatest reviews on HomeAdvisor either compared to other contractors that contacted neI received 4 other calls from contractors and they left messages and I returned all those calls when I had time. Never heard from them, and we seemed to get runaround or excuses - wrong color tub, people left the company, etc. And we still don't have any news on when installation will occur. Granted mistakes happen, but just keep us notified. Would think twice before using them. Not sure that we would ever use them again. GET THREE BIDS! Do not sign with them unless youve had 3 bids! We had someone come knock on our door asking if we would meet with a sales person for siding our home. I agreed because we are planning on residing our home in 3 months. We've already gotten 3 bids. Lowe's came in at $18,000 and two verified licensed and bonded contractors who have been in business for 4 and ten years, quoted $14,000 and $16,000. Reves bid? $59,000!!! He said the other contractors cannot do it that low. No way no how! well they seem to because they have great reviews. And he asked what the warranties they offer are worth? I'll put it this way, if I pay the middle priced guy $16,000 and it needs fixed up in 10 years. I can reside my entire home again and still come out $27,000 ahead. They can go rob someone else that has 2.5 hours to listen to a sales pitch. The sales people were nice and if you go with them, say no first. When we did they called a sales manager who agreed to take $8,000 off... just give me an honest price to begin with. read more

just now They didn't honor their contract. Don't even bother calling DaBellas. The sales experience was like buying a used car. High pressure sales, "let me call my manager to see if we can do better on price". When I balked he tried again with a "military discount" despite me saying I had not served. Had him come back two weeks later after I had completed my financing and the couldn't match the previous price. But we agreed on a price and work and signed an extensive contract. Then their subcontractor came out and measured the job. Got a call a week later from salesman and then his manager wanting to increase the price by 50%. They made all sorts of excuses but they wouldn't honor their signed contract. They said their is a 60 day clause in the contract that allows them to void the contract if they can't do the job to their satisfaction. Nothing about that they had agreed to the work for a fixed price and all the work was specified in the contract. I'm still waiting for them to return my check. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them under any circumstances. In response to your reply John P. Nice try at revising history. Your salesman and manager called to tell me that your subcontractor estimated that more siding was needed and your salesman had agreed to additional work without charging enough in the contract. The fact was that you didn't honor your signed contract. The possible lead paint story and self done addition are fictional excuses. You made them up as excuses after you realized your profit margin wouldn't be met. There was a lead paint and hazardous waste assessment and permit in place before your salesman made the first visit. He was also presented a copy of the design plans for the addition. The addition was professional designed and is being constructed by professionals. The only unprofessional aspect is DeBella refusing to complete the work that you contracted to do. Your excuses are another example of your unprofessional business practices. read more

When someone like this company hangs a flyer at my door it screams "no one is home!" Update: After I posted this review and left another message, I did receive a phone call apologizing for not getting back to me. The initial solution proposed was to give me a gift card to buy a bush and plant it in front of the crooked part. I declined. I then described what I believed could be done to fix it. The installer came out and came up with a solution and fixed it the next evening. I am now happy with the way it looks. They ultimately did fix the problem, but I should not of had to post bad reviews in order to get a response. So I have upgraded my rating from a 1 to 2 stars. read more

I had the pleasure of dealing with Jeremy Holcomb, of Reve Exteriors LLC, when I was shopping for a roof for my new home in Monroe. Jeremy was professional and possessed superb product knowledge. Best of all he was able to convey that knowledge to me in a clearly understandable way. He did not try to "oversell" me or pressure me into buying more roof than would have made sense for my relatively modest home.
