This is a 'local' style bar. The prices are relatively cheap and service is usually friendly. The beer is always chilled - I haven't had an issue with the quality to date. We stumbled upon Daddy Rabbits a couple of weeks ago by accident. It ended up being a fairly mutual meeting ground for a group of our friends that have all now moved in seperate directions. It is set in a little shopping center, next to a Ham and Eggs, but it's easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Parking is good, plenty of spots. Our first trip was great, almost a fluke. I figured I would give it another shot before I Yelped it. Well, let me tell you, NOT A FLUKE. The karaoke dj is great, he is fair and didn't play a bunch of fluff between singers. He did play the wobble for us though! Drinks are well priced, better than a lot of places in the area. The staff.... well, they make the place. Both times we came the same two people were working. The place was full, but there were serving quickly and with a smile. The young lady remembered out names, which we were all impressed with. They both seemed to care for their patrons. The gentleman bartender came to out table and cut up for a second even though he was clearly having a lot to deal with, and the dj came to out table and shook our hands and asked us back. They made us feel more than welcome and I believe we have found our new favorite spot! Thanks for the awesome service and for making our night so special. read more

Unfortunate experience- I finally gave this place another chance since my previously horrific experiences and sadly was still disappointed. This old school throwback misses its mark in customer service in spades. The worst part about them before the smoking ban was the stench that protruded from the walls as years of tobacco carbon made everything smell like the Ashtray from hell. Now it seems that even though the ashtray smell has subsided the bartender can't seem to wrap his head around customer service. I came for a quick late evening cocktail and was at first surprised at the much better smell of the place and was optimistic about a possible new experience , but with 14 of the 18 barstools empty and denied seating by both the staff and the patrons I quickly realized why nobody should ever come here. The bartender told me that the open seats were "saved" and the patrons put feet in the stools they were saving. Horrible experience read more

Great Lewisville watering hole for 25 yrs. I've been coming here 15 years or so and the waitstaff and bartenders are great, prices are good and drinks are strong. Adding the patio was a big plus and nice in the evening. read more

I came here with a friend because it had decent reviews. We were searching for a decent happy hour place with happy hour prices. This place was having $1.50 bottle night and so It was great for me! But they serve small wells and not so amazing pours. Definitely a better place for regulars kind of place. Felt very awkward, but they bartender was very sweet! She was checking on us every chance she got. Although she sure made an effort to make a lot of noise while she made drinks. Just sort of interesting. Probably won't come back. I'd rather go to a chain with a livelier crowd. read more

Karaoke. If you're looking for a good system, a great book (Forget their printed book, just ask - they have almost everything), an excellent sound system, and an honest rotation (with only one short dance break a night) go to Daddy Rabbit's on Friday or Saturday nights. They actually start on time, at 9:00pm. The crowd is respectful and supportive. Drinks are fairly priced, service is good. It does get crowded and occasionally loud. Early arrival means short rotations, after 11pm rotations get lengthy. 5 STARS just for being a fantastic and fun karaoke bar. read more

Let's be real, it's a dive bar. If you're looking for something fancy you're in the wrong place... If you're willing to give it a try you could find something special. They clearly have a lot of regulars, but as with any bar if you make the effort you'll find a new friend. I've never been on the weekend but they have karaoke if that entices you. As well they've done some improvements/ updates to really improve the aesthetics. read more

Been going here for years and this place rocks. Wish they'd bring back the putt putt from years ago. Always a blast and the weekends hit the spot. Been going here for about 2.5yrs. Older crowd. Late 30's to 60's (I'm 26). I go there because they have the sunday ticket for NFL and they always have the game I want to see (SF49ers). I keep going back because every time i've been, the people are super friendly. I've only gone a handful of times on non-football related trips, but each time, I've been welcomed in warmly. It usually only takes a few minutes of being there before the friendly people welcome you in and invite you to join them. Very friendly place. read more

Daddy Rabbit's is our favorite bar. Not to sound cliche, but it's sort of like Cheers -- everyone knows your name. Service is always fast and friendly. We don't even have to order. When Kent or Tammy see us walk through the door, they get our drinks ready. There is karaoke a couple nights a week, sports on the TVs, pool and a net jukebox that will play anything mainstream. It IS very smokey, so be prepared for that -- especially if you go on a Friday or Saturday. You will smell like an ashtray when you leave. But the atmosphere makes it worth it. read more

A cozy bar, can be cramped at times, tucked in a strip shopping center. Being a bar in a strip shopping center, it does exceed expectations. Drink prices are a little high but not too bad. It caters mostly to an older crowd. read more

Honestly if I could give this place 0stars I really would ....so to start the whole place smells like smoke but whatever I could deal with it .. Super friendly bartenders and great beer specials. It's an older bar, but they have fixed it up. Great place to grab a beer and relax.
