This mall is my latest and greatest Miami discovery. Since we live in the Grove, we often brave the hellish traffic of Dixie Highway to head South, hitting up Dadeland Station and that area often. However, I never knew Dadeland Mall even existed until recently! So glad I found it. This mall is a nice balance - has a lot of normal stores (ie Express, Wet Seal, Macy's), along with a lot of uber-expensive ones (Coach, Louis Vuitton, etc.). The one big downside is the lack of a Forever 21 - annoying! Also, parking sucks a big one. It's always jam packed, which makes me wonder how there's still a recession going on. There is lots of additional parking, but still, walking a mile is a pain in the butt, especially in the summer heat. All in all - I'm a fan. read more

This place is one of those places in Miami that all the locals know about. The mall is ancient. I think it just sprung up at the same time that Miami was founded (I'm totally joking, in case you were wondering) I do know that it's been around for at least 22 plus years since my parents were shopping there before I was even a twinkle in their eye. To me, Dadeland's Macy's will always be Burdines. I still catch myself calling it by the old name. Anyways, I'll stop with the nostalgia now. The mall is pretty big, not so big that you can get lost in it but big enough to have just about all the stores you could ever need. I like that it has a whole range of stores from semi cheap department stores to designer boutiques like Betsey Johnson and Tous. it's also the closest mall to my house so it's usually the one I end up going to when I need a last minute outfit for a party that I didn't even know about. So if it's so good, why only a four star? Well, I don't know, maybe it's because I've been to that mall so many times I could maneuver it with my eyes closed or maybe it's because I like shopping in small obscure boutiques. It's not my favorite mall but it is a very good mall. It's usually not too cluttered (the only exception is Black Friday which is a day when only experienced, fast, and cut throat shoppers dare to tread into any mall. I've been coming to dadeland mall ever since I live in kendall (5 years) let me tell you, I haven't appreciated dadeland mall as much as i do now. The mall is very crisp, modern, clean lines and colors. You feel like you're shopping at a high end place. They have added a new terrace dining area that's really nice. This is my favorite mall in the Miami dade area. It's got saks and Nordstrom but also a great variety of more affordable brands too. I can always find something there everytime I go. However, my only compliant is that Nordstrom seems to be an added portion to the mall. It's way down one end of the mall and you'll have to walk through Macy's to get to the main mall part. Other than that, plenty of parking and great store selections. Overall a great place to shop. read more

The worse customer service ever!!!! This store makes ZARA brand look so cheap, disorganized and in general un professional. Love the South Beach stores, both and thought this one would be the same service but it was horrible, no one that works in the store wants to help, they are too busy picking what they will buy for themselves of playing around to pay attention to customers. After all of this horrible experience we ask for a new pair of pants because the ones we had were ripped and the kid brings one like if he is bringing his dirty close to us (so unprofessional) and we get home and see the pants had no buttons. Really Zara should pay attention to this store and the people that work here, maybe bring some of the South Beach staff to teach them how its done.... read more

This is definitely my favorite mall in Miami by far. It's the nicest looking, and the classiest. I don't get the same vibe here that I get from Dolphin Mall. They also have a bunch of restaurants to eat at here, and great stores to shop in. My favorite one here is Steps! They have nice things for work, and going out in, and their sales are always so worth it. This mall, just like any, definitely gets super crazy on the weekends, so I definitely recommend getting here early! They have a bunch of parking, but if you're lazy, and get here late, you probably will not find one close to the door. I recommend parking by JCP Penney, in the back area. You cannot go wrong there. Their food court is pretty decent as well, and they recently added a Mango stand which I love! read more

Please do something about the Sprint kiosk. The men who work at this location, as well as the International Mall, keep harassing women especially those who are alone. Stop yelling at us from across the mall. Miss, señorita, m'am etc. Loud and continuously. I don't like being harassed like I am in some third world country. I really like this mall. There are 3 dept stores and lots of great shops as well. They are still in progress of some renovations including new shops and additions to the food court. Very sad that LA Nails closed as this was my go-to spot for mani/pedi. As of now, there is no longer any nail salon. read more

I went on a trip to South America last month and learned about stores I never even knew existed with great merchandise at a great price... Fast forward to me having lunch with a friend I realized that Dadeland Mall has some of those stores I saw in SA. I was pleasantly surprised, as Dadeland is one of those places that are a little underrated. It's always kept clean, and they always seem to be having deals all throughout the place year round. Most people would disagree with me being a fan of this mall but it has a few stores I like all in one location so its very convenient for me if I really need to find something and know that it will be there. I hate malls but this one has a great range of stores mid priced and some fancy, it has my two fav sephore and Zara. It is clean, they have valet, the food court is decent. The bathrooms could be cleaner, the parking garage elevator sometimes sticks super scary always take the stinky smelly stairs. So the layout is like a maze, lots of walking, but once you know what stores you need you can try to park close to them. The parking is a mess but if you circle enough you will find what you are looking for. Remember shopping is a tactical operation it's all about logistics. I have been here enough that I can get in and out fast. Oh and they have a Chick-fil-A who doesn't love that? read more

I've been on this mall exactly 4 times, and the experience is always - Really good .They have a really beautiful design and mall layout, really clean and a solid variety of stores! (Macy's,Microsoft,ADIDAS etc..)Staff wise employees are very friendly , and security guards are always walking around so you can feel safe while shopping. Valet parking next to Cheesecake Factory is a great UBER pick up/Drop off point if you don't feel like driving since as soon as you come in you have Customer Services, what I enjoyed the most was the peaceful lounge-like Area on the second floor where I sat for a while without much noise, small details like these are what makes shopping so much better, only advice tho is maybe a small movie theater? Only come here if u want to get corona. NO hand sanitizer throughout the mall, no one social distances, and the stores are not following proper policies. Macy's is an absolute nightmare. The dressing rooms are absolutely filthy and not being cleaned whatsoever. DO NOT go here if you are high risk or plan on being near someone high risk. Very overcrowded and unsanitary. read more

Macy's is mayhem, but if you are in the shoe department ask for Anna, she was wonderful and really helpful. The people at Coach were nice considering I was returning a bunch of purses. I think that mall is very cluttered and hard to navigate with all the people. I cannot go 3 stars because some INS office took down my very favorite Cuban coffee stand by the Food Court. That place was like an institution in Miami!!! Parking is a mess! I go when I have to go, but I rarely say, "let's go to Dadeland to shop." I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes and walk in fresh air at those "other" malls. read more

Not a fan of malls; however, this mall has a lot of the basics and unfortunately for those living in Miami's city center, this is the closest place to do any decent shopping. Am surprised to see a lot of upscale stores here...I thought this was more of a mid-market mall. They even have a Hugo Boss store...pretty nice. The Macy's is huge, Zara has been renovated and is big and they have a Nordstrom. Those are really the only stores I need, but they have a big selection. Looking forward to the expansion in 2013 **UPDATE*** The expanded wing is open and I'm not too impressed. The floors are uneven and blah. Just feels generic. OK to nice selection of nicer stores (Penguin, Boss, etc.) but I can find them at Aventura Mall and that's a nicer more upscale location. read more

The layout of this mall is quite weird. Funny because before going here I looked up the directory. I made sure they had a Nordstrom, Sephora, or even Zara! They don't have a F21 though...that they should probably invest in. We entered through Nordstrom and when we went through the mall, I was super confused because in order to get to the other side of the mall you have to walk through Macys. Great marketing for Macys because while walking through it to get to the other part of the mall, you will definitely stop and and make some purchases! Although this mall wasn't all that great, it was one of the better malls because of the Nordstrom and their Zara store wasn't empty! It had great deals!!! read more

Let's start with parking, they have garages, private lots and valets. I usually park in the garage next to Nordstrom but other than that parking is a pain in the butt. The mall is clean and nice, has great air conditioning and is never too overly packed (well everytime I'm there it's not). It's elegant and has a good flow. It has very good lighting to make the feeling that you're outside. It has little play/rest areas whenever you get tired. However, I feel like a few more stores should be added like Forever 21 or an H&M Their food court is really good with chick fil a and restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory. They have new bars and coffee huts that are a good place to chill around. Overall, this mall is the go to place when you need something and it's located in Kendall. Dadeland Mall is great despite drivers not knowing how a 3 way stop works. People must be high off shopping or something because I've almost been hit by drivers at the stops several times. Get your hand ready to honk your horn. The food court is pretty good. Tango Grill, Mandarin Express, Sarku Japan, and Cajun Grill are usually handing out samples of chicken. I personally like the Mongolian Chicken at Mandarin Express (sweet, spicy and totally unhealthy) and Cajun Grill's chicken. It's nice that you can walk on one side of the mall and go in a circle basically and hit all the stores. The mall isn't too big or too small. The two Macy's are separated. The children and home Macy's are at the other end. The new mall wing with Tesla and the new restaurants are a really nice improvement, classin' the place up significantly. read more

Dadeland mall is one of the main malls in Miami. Although it has many common stores such as Express, Steve Madden, Macy's, Nordstrom, and more, they also have stores that are not as common. Some of which include, Rolex, Apple, and Zara. They have opened a new area to the mall with multiple restaurants that provide a nice experience if you decide to have a meal or a drink with friends. The problem with this particular mall is that's usually extremely full of people and very touristy, usually from people outside the United States. If you are willing to deal with the more than average population at a mall, and really need something, I don't see where you won't be able to find it here. read more

Yay! I'm a fan. This place is great for tourists and locals looking to get some cool stuff or just look around. Some of the stuff is pricey, but you can find good deals. It's a must see if you are in Dadeland Mall. It's filled with a bunch of great Lil' stores with everything your like heart could desire.....OK, almost everything. I am writing this review under dadeland mall because unfortunately a page has not been created for KIPLING in this location. I walk in to be greeted by a sales associate who seemed fairly pleasant. I am looking around with my son specifically for a bag pack and a new medium-sized suitcase. I am very particular when it comes to luggage because I travel a lot and want something that is sturdy and long lasting... So I guess I am taking a bit of time (no longer than 15-20 minutes) much to the manager's dismay which I believe her name was Margie or Maggie not exactly sure. She kept giving me these nasty looks and asked me more than once with an attitude if I was done looking yet. I politely said no. Mind you, no one was even helping me I was doing this on my own. My son found a bag he liked but after the way we were treated, I told him I would get it for him at another location or online. Kipling: Do better with your managerial staff! read more

There's been a lot of changes lately which I feel have contributed to making dadeland a better mall. Solid mall with a good variety of stores, a decent food court if you're into that, and lots of free parking. Anchor stores include Macy's, JC Penney and Nordstrom. The layout is a bit odd, as there is a short distance with a few stores and kiosks between the JC Penney and the main Macy's store (this mall contains several including Macy's for Men, Macy's fashion and Macy's Home & Children) then you need to physically shuffle through the middle of that Macy's store in order to reach the rest of the mall and the shops which are on the other side. This mall is across from a few plazas and outlets that include several more stores and restaurants, and a few blocks away is Dadeland Station with Target, Best Buy and a few other businesses in there as well. In other words, If you don't find what you need at Dadeland Mall, there are plenty of other stores and plazas to try in this general area. One odd thing at Dadeland Mall is that the former condom dispenser in the men's restroom off the food court now dispenses cologne, glowsticks, wrist bands, and breath sprays. Kind of a shame really, sad to see the tradition of the restroom condom dispenser die off. Don't know where to tell you to go if you're in the area and just want a single condom and need it in a hurry. read more

I used the valet this morning at Dadeland mall in Miami for Mother's Day! My mother uses a cane and didn't want her to walk since the parking is crazy! When I went to pick up my car I saw my car on The other side of the valet stand drive off with me verifying the license plate and all! I took a moment and realized that they had been driving my car to assist the valet guys with pick up and drop off! They were extremely rude and after several groups of people later (who came after me) received their car, I went to ask about my car and then I started to get more upset realizing they were somehow using my car to drop off and pick up the valet guys. Wow, I drive a Range Rover not a Porsche so I am sure they were not using it for a joy ride, however, I am still shocked. Beware and don't use their valet service! read more

The mall in general is very nice but the workers in bath and body works are very rude. Two days in a row the workers treated my mom like she was garbage. she was so happy to get her product but she left so empty hearted twice ima row. They treated her like a moron just because she asked a question. They Very rude and treat customers like baby's. Off my experience you shouldn't ask them question because they apparently don't like answering question just go and pay for your product. Two days in a row my mom left empty handed and even gave them a second chance! But they still acted the same. They need to learn manners from the Victoria secret workers which are very nice and actually like answering questions. Very bad experience in bath and body works read more

I don't think I want to visit this mall again. I liked the variety of the restaurants, the food court and there are so many stores. At the entrance by the Cheesecake Factory it looks so beautiful and modern. It's a Simon mall so it has Free Wifi and free phone charging stations. But inside it does not smell pleasant (sweaty feet!). Some stores smell seemed to have an old house kind of smell. I visited practically every clothing store and could not find anything that I liked and that was a reasonable price. I could not come here again because too many people were blocking my way in stores so I could not look at things easily, plus too many parents let their kids run wherever they want and scream, kids kept running into me and hitting me even though I tried to avoid them! The lighting was ok in the mall but it was disappointing that the temperature is not constant. The AC is a cold blast at one point, under the glass roof part it's too hot, in some corridors it's slightly too warm and in some stores it's a regular room temperature. It is annoying that I had a mosquito land on me while sat in the mall interior! The discounts are not what I would call discounts, they just put like shoes reduced from $99 to $69 which is still way too expensive. Also, no stores had any green women's shoes, they were almost all black suede, which is useless for Florida rain showers! Every product I inspected here is either not worth so much money or only size L+ so I didn't buy anything! read more

This place gets four stars for constantly improving itself and ok for the free parking. What?! That's very important in Miami. And this place has lots and lots of parking. So on to the improvements well a much better food court, and a much stronger array of shops. This last visit I saw that J.Crew is coming which made me think that Dadeland is now a preppy oasis. Although nowhere near close to the monster that is Aventura, the teeny bopper hangout Sunset Place, or the quieter Falls, Dadeland is simple enough to not overload the senses but big enough to have something for everyone. read more

dadeland mall has it all... from toys to food to clothes for the big & the small! this is a great mall. always very clean and contains a good selection of stores. my favorite store here is nordstrom, but i also love victoria's secret, zara, foot locker, and the coach store. 2 things to point out: this mall has a CVS inside, which you don't normally find in a mall AND the cheesecake factory! there is ample parking, but it fills up quickly. read more

In reference to CAJIN GRILL , I've been working at this mall for more than 5 years ... I love that I was just told that the manager of this location would not like me to ask for a cup of ice unless I purchase food. Which is normally understandable but the fact is I order food from them once in awhile ignoring the fact that our break room was closed down due to it being so close to the food court for rats and black mold issue(still a lighting issue btw)... but still I'd pay for food here and there to cover the cost of my once a day styrofoam cup filled with ice, $8 to $10 for a rat visited meal should cover it. But I guess the owner (yes the one with the goatee) says it must not be. So I share to anyone who works in the mall here yet another shitty establishment who cares nothing for mall employees... read more

oh dadeland how i love thee? let me count the ways. 1- nostalgia. i have been a shopaholic my whole life. kmart was my favorite store until i discovered burdines at age 3 - which was the biggest treat ever. as soon as i saw the big green pole with the D at the top my face would light up. i remember walking the mall as a teen and having lunch at the hidden burger king when the food court was too packed. i gave out my # to a random guy for the first time at the arcade, bought my prom dress at lord and taylor, and loved going to el restaurante del tren - victorias station. 2 - parking - there is plenty of covered and uncovered parking available. even valet is available. only once did i not find parking, so i parked in those apartments visitor spots behind dadeland across the canal and crossed the little pedestrian bridge. it was awesome. 3 - macys (formerly known as burdines) is my favorite. always great sales, pretty well organized considering the amounts of people that walk thru there. and the separate home store is awesome!! 4 - godiva, haagen dazs, hot cookies, mishas, starbucks, etc a dream come true. 5 - food - the food court has so many options from chicken kitchen to subway, chinese to argentine. and cheesecake factory and puccini aka villagio are great sit down restaurants. 6 - from cvs to saks you can literally get everything you could possibly need at this one stop shopping paradise. they have all kinds of specialty stores, and all those kiosks with extra annoying sales people who are always like miss let me shine your earrings, or iron your hair, or apply some makeup, or take your picture. 7 - easily accessible from palmetto expressway. and the metro rail has 2 stops for dadeland. ok im going to stop at 7, which coincidentally is the amount of hours it took me to finish all of my christmas shopping there yesterday. read more
