I had no idea this place even existed, but I'm really glad I stumbled across it. I visited on a Saturday and was a bit put off by the $10 parking fee, which I think was excessive. The location itself is unusual, tucked behind a hotel and next to the Honduran consulate, and the layout is honestly pretty confusing. The building has an eerie vibe with lots of hidden corridors, which made navigating it a bit strange at first. That said, there's a wide variety of vendors offering everything from jewelry and clothing to home décor and incense. One standout for me was a shop called "Wow Fine Fashion Jewelry." The owners, a husband-and-wife team, were incredibly polite and helpful. I found a Cuban link pavé necklace there that I had previously seen at Pandora for $495, and I was able to get a very similar necklace plus two bracelets for under $100--an amazing deal. I did check out a few other stores, but the customer service elsewhere wasn't as impressive. Overall though, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. If I come back, it would definitely be for that jewelry shop. read more

Don't believe the hype of the other reviews. If I had to guess, this CREEPY, incredibly dated, half empty mall is a front for some sort of money laundering operation. And no, I'm not making a joke. I'm serious. The stores are junky and extremely dated (Sorry--I didn't see anything that I would call "high end" unless one was high....at the end....of something) and no matter what time of day I have walked through despite a major convention, they are empty. In the the photo supplied by other Yelpers show completely empty stores. I also noticed that in a few stores, not even a single employee was present. Not that it mattered.....since no one apparently goes into these shops there is no threat of stealing. I should also mention that many of the spaces were empty and none the stores that were open were any kind of recognizable brand. As for the employees with whom I tried to talk to, they do not speak English which is odd given that the mall is part of a Double Tree and convention center whose clientele, from around the world, most commonly spoken language at least currently, is English. (Although knowing some Mandarin, Urdu, Spanish, German, French, Russian also helps) No matter, because I don't get the impression they are really there to sell anything. I did look in a few of the stores and could not find a single price tag on any of the clothing items. No shoppers anywhere.... the placed just creeped me out. read more

I had no idea this place existed until this past weekend, and oh my, was I impressed! Forget the mall, or any boutique, this is the place to be! I spent hours walking around here on Saturday, and was so pleased by all of the vendors there selling awesome stuff. Anything you can possibly want, from shoes to bags, clothing, jewelry, and more. The prices are awesome as well. This location is currently undergoing some construction, in attempt to attract more vendors to their 2nd and 3rd floor. So if that happens, I can't even imagine how long it would take to see all of their storefronts, because this place is huge! They offer a ton of parking, just be aware that it costs $5 to park your car in their lot, or you can valet for $8. As of right now, the majority of their vendors are located on the first floor, with a handful on the 2nd. There is also a small cafe in the middle of the first floor, incase you get hungry or thirsty. Walking through these shops, I saw similar items I have seen at other known malls, but for half the price. If you plan to come, be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared for a full day of shopping. This place is great though, and I definitely plan to return! read more

This seems to be the precursor to all discounted things in Miami-Dade before the outlet Dolphin Mall was made. And it's still going on - and still going strong. But really, this Miami Mart is a wholesale mall to cater to the needs of the exporters, importers and retail buyers that make their regular stop in Miami. But while I was visiting a friend of mine at the Sheraton which is connected to Miami Mart, I got a chance to look around this 3-level mall that had some goods the stores were willing to sell to individual buyers. There were incense candles, dishes, chimes, clothing for men, women, babies and children, shoes and jewelry. There were also Brazilian shoes, sandals and jeans. And plenty of things for your home too. Miami Mart offers a lot and you would have to navigate the Mart as if it was a maze. You'll see a lot of vacant stores too, despite there being at least 300 stores (that's what the website says) on site. It just means there's plenty of room for showrooms to be set up - plenty of room to expand the trade with Miami and the rest of the world. Plus, did you think Bijoux was cheap? Well there's a Bijoux outlet store here. Hungry? Au Pain or Starbucks is here, or you could go to the trendier digs inside the Sheraton. For sure, many of the stores here, you probably won't recognize their names. They're much off-the-wall names much like many of the stores you see at Dolphin Mall. Valerux Inc. offered hammocks from Nigeria, beautiful clay dolls of latin women, chimes, incense candle holders, scented oils, supplies for applying Feng Shui and some other really neat (even holistic) things. Wallis-Baer Company is a wholesale store, and much of the things I was attracted to here, I hope someone would buy them (in bulk since that's how it works with wholesale stores), and put it up in their stores and I would be a loyal shopper! I love the dishes here and the spice racks. And some Oneida pans. I was told one of their biggest client was Brandsmart, so I'm definitely needing to visit it to see some of the things that caught my eye. S&B Sales is a men's clothing store that offers trendy clothing and some (I'll admit) cheap stuff. You'll pay more for the nicer things or the flashier things (take your pick), but there were some good deals here to be had! You can't go wrong in any of the clothing stores I've seen in the Mart - they all are willing to sell to individual customers - and there's a WHOLE LOT of clothing stores to explore, especially for the women out there! There's Calvin Klein, Perry Ellis, BCBG and other popular lines to be had. The Mart is is like an upscale Ross or Marshall's - the prices are higher, but low for such trendy goods that exists within the Mart. You can get the latest fashion. Entry and admission is free unless if you wanted something VIP. Don't ask me how that works - I'm not in that group! PROS: Clothing and jewelry are the most common things in the Miami Mart. read more

Because I do a lot of business with this hotel, we used to have access to the Merchandise mart before it was open to the general public, it is probably the same bargain now, but it felt a little better when the entrance was limited to businesses. We make our yearly pilgrimage to this place around this time of the year to stock up on Christmas present for the family. First off, this is totally a nostalgic place for me. Back in the 90's, I used to come here all the time and search for quinces stuff and buying all sorts of fun stuff. Nowadays, I seem to come here for the glasses. You can't avoid the $7.00 parking so its best to "sácarle el jugo" and get your moneys worth. The random little scarves are great for neck wraps and even bathing suit accessories that are priced very low. There's a lot of garbage but if you look around, you'll find some spots where they have good stuff. I can recognize a fine stitch and as long as you don't get lost and continue walking the maze-like hallways you'll hit every spot. My second time here, I hate the fact that you have to pay for parking, the place is absolutely freezing, and unfortunately it seems like it's 3/4 empty. I've been coming here since I was a git. My mom discovered this place a loooooooooong time ago and we've never stopped coming here. Anything you can think of: scarves, shoes, clothes, watches, sunglasses, hair accessories, house decoration, workout gear, handbags....well, you get the point, they have it! You do have to pay for parking there which isn't great since you're there to shop already (it's $5) but other than that, with all the goodies you can get, it's worth the trip and the parking fee. if you one time and find a certain store that you fall in love with, unless it booms with business, you might not see it again. This place has people move in and out and with the years, a lot of my favorite places has ceased to exist so lesson we learn here is: if you see it, you like it, you buy it. End of story. read more

I have been coming to "The Mart" since it was called the Radisson Mart. I have loved this spot since my first visit. If you are looking for inexpensive jewelry then this is the place! I have come here for special occasion jewelry that I dont want to spend a fortune on. I have also come here with brides-to-be so they can buy bridesmaids gifts. Downstairs is great for jewelry and beads for the bracelet makers. The second floor is great for sunglasses, handbags, and perfumes. I dont usually visit the third floor but the times I have are to visit custom stores. Not a lot on the third floor. They also have some shops lending to the entrance of the mart and those are great. They have some cheap pashminas and I have gotten some nice indian designed pillows and jewelry. You need to visit this place!!! read more

I was staying next door at the DoubleTree for a quick couple days but I didn't want to rent a car or hire a Lyft or Uber to do some window shopping. The front desk suggested I take a look here. Entering from the hotel, this place looks like many mostly abandoned midwestern shopping malls these days. I only strolled the first floor. There was one coffee shop open and many, many vacant storefronts. I went in a few clothing and accessory shops and was (mostly) enthusiastically greeted, and in one, a store worker actually followed me the entire time I was there. I did find one store I really liked - Victoria's Accessories and Evening Bags. The displays were very well done, and the jewelry was beautiful and affordable! My guess is that vendors here come and go very quickly. read more

"the mart" is kind of a hidden gem in miami.. those who know, know. its basically a mall inside the lobby of a hotel /convention center. used to be a radisson, then a sheraton, now i believe a doubletree. this "mall" used to require your name on the list and photo id just to get in. but good news, i just went yesterday and walked right in, no questions asked. the first floor has mostly jewelry and home accents. second floor is all womens- jewelry, sunglasses, clothes, you name it. the third floor is mens and misc. you would not believe the prices in here, you can get designer watches and sunglasses for about 50% off the retail prices.ive bought a michelle watch and prada sunglasses for rock bottom prices. you can also get fashion jewelry for as low as 2 bucks. yesterday i got some pearl earrings, a ring and a bracelet and spent under $25. most shop owners will even let you negotiate and give great discounts if buying in bulk. some stores only sell wholesale to business owners who show proof with a tax id # but most are willing to make a sale, period. the parking is now $5, but you get $2 back when you leave if you get your ticket validated. read more

You can find some great deals here if you are looking for woman's accessories and trendy clothing. There's a nice selection of showrooms that sell accessories and handbags at cheap prices and if you go to the 2nd floor, you will find the showrooms that sell clothing- there you can find evening gowns (there's one showroom that i swear i loved every single dress i saw-if i remember correctly it was the 1st showroom in the clothing hall) and trendy clubby clothing and jeans. Don't bother with the 3rd floor- like in the other reviews- there's nothing there. Also, I asked if there were open on Saturdays and they said they are. This seems to be one of those places you either love or hate. Simply put...I did NOT love it. It is not the kind of shopping environment I'm use to, although I tend to adjust quickly to new things. This place...not so much. As someone else said, it reminds me more of a flea market. Most stores sold low end or no name brands. I was very surprised by the number of shops selling knock off items. My only purchase was a bottle of perfume, at the same price I have since found at Perfumania at the mall. At least at the mall I don't have to pay parking! read more

The coffee shop in the front only has one parking spot and if you park on the side they will put a boot on your car. If you like to shop, this place is fun. It has obviously seen better days, as there are so many empty inline shops that are empty, even right up front at the entrance. DON"T BE DISCOURAGED!!! It may be less than 50% full, and may appear to be a dead mall. But, au contraire! The stores that ARE here, are scattered throughout the 2 stories (the 3rd floor has no shops). You do need to go down those long halls and thoroughly check things out, as there are some great shops tucked away down those halls...They might not even have a sign or appear to be open. It is a good idea to bring cash, as you may have to spend more than $20 to use a credit or debit card. I've gotten some great beads at really good prices. There's lots of various fashion jewelry and hair deco as well as a few silver jewelry shops. There are a few perfume shops, many sunglass shops, scarves, handbags,pashminas, shoes, luggage,imported home decor items, etc. etc. etc. Some nice surprises like Russian icons and some stunning handmade silver jewelry. I am sure there is a shift of merchandise every season, but some of the store owners have been here for years. Definitely worth the $5 parking (around back by the convention center). You will pass by the entrance to Merchandise Mart on your way to the parking for the convention center. Just walk along the side of the building, and as I mentioned, don't be discouraged by the empty shops near the entrance, as there are plenty open stores inside full of merchandise! If you are hungry, there is an Au Bon Pain as you enter, but that is all the food there is; Plan accordingly! Wear comfy shoes! read more

It was a horrible experience, I was there around 11:30am, a lot of stores closed, some of the ones that were opened, did not greet the customer, not a smile or a hello, prices r not that great & on top of that a/c was not working.
