The Bohemian Vibe they have at Upper Buena Vista is everything I love and more. This is tropical and chill, and local earthy vibes. They have restaurants here with different cultural vibes, local micro shops, a coffee shop, Colombian cholada spot and cool little artsy touches can all be found here. This place is dog friendly as well. Definitely a spot off the beaten patty I think, and I'm super happy we were able to check it out. More shops are open earlier. We came later and got a Colombian cholada which is a fun little ice dessert. I may definitely have to stop by again here next time I visit. Glad we got to stop here in our fun filled day in Miami! Everyone was super nice and it was definitely the best last stop of the night!

This is a cute tiny spot. We went at night and most shops inside were closed but what we came for wasn't which was the wishing tree. You purchase a ribbon write down some good things you would like to happen for yourself and tie it to the wishing tree there that was super cool. The have dinner and stuff there at night and ice cream truck but not a whole bit worth to check it out. I will have to come back during the day. Parking isn't free but also not expensive.

There is a lush and cute outdoor sanctuary in Upper Buena Vista, that offers local independent shops, and cute restaurants. In the center court there is a 120 year old banyan tree known as is "the Bodhi Wish tree." Adorned in colourful ribbons. This tree is reputed to have special magnetic and spiritual values.

It's a little cute mall with a bohemian-artistic vibe... within a very rundown area and with very expensive pricing. It's not that I don't enjoy the variety, but I don't feel (and, obviously I'm in the minority here) that the opposites combined very well. It's a very pleasing open space that kind of looks like the artisans' markets, but unlike those places, what you get is a bunch of expensive stores and restaurants that the actual artisans they try to emulate couldn't possibly afford... Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my afternoon there, and the food was top notch, but I'd really enjoy more the real thing (which I haven't really seen in ages) You can tell that despite the effort to make it look like real artisans and small shops of hand-crafted items and food, you're getting the artificial, and maybe even corporate, version. Plus, it was weird getting into something so beautiful surrounded by a rusted fence on one side and what looks like a rundown building on the other. Honestly, it's been a couple of months since my visit and I still have not decided if I liked it or not, but most of the food I tried was excellent, and it is a pretty place, so you may enjoy a visit.

This is one of the best retail and dining centers in the area but keep your eyes open because it's sorta hidden. It's like a boho chic outpost of dining, shopping and entertainment all surrounded by a huge ficus tree that's impressive. I stopped in to visit Kava Villa and play a few chess games with my beau and pup. I loved strolling around and seeing the different options of restaurants. I certainly want to try out the coffee shop on my next visit. There's meter parking only on one side of 50th street as the other side is strictly residential so keep your eyes peeled. The design is inspired by what seems like a treehouse bazaar of some sort with striking architectural facades bringing this square to be one of the places I will certainly bring my out of town guests to when visiting miami. There's something for everyone and it's pet &family-friendly too. The dress code is relaxed but there's plenty of reason to spruce it up because every corner of this place makes for a great photo opportunity. The prices are decent and the options are plentiful so there's something for every budget. I found the service to be very friendly and I'd gladly come back to explore more.

This cozy, upscale mall with a Zen-like vibe offers handcrafted items, cafes & a restaurant. Upper Buena Vista is a bohemian sanctuary of artisanal makers, a cozy and upscale mall, an enclave of shopping, dining and entertainment in the Buena Vista neighborhood, located just north of Wynwood and Miami Design District. A century year old Bodhi "Wish Tree" serves as the focal point of this funky shopping destination. It is based on a Buddhist tradition of designating a tree to be used as the object of wishes and offerings. In addition to the tree you'll find gardens and walkways that connect the businesses and micro-boutiques that make up the neighborhood. An Asian tradition suggests writing your wish on a ribbon and tying it to the wish tree for eternal blessings. The ribbons are sold for a one dollar donation (used to plant trees through the group One Tree Planted). So far the ribbons have raised enough to plant hundreds of trees and plants. So the mood is definitely spirit-lifting as we try to save the Mother Earth as it is majestic and beautiful and will cause you to stop and pause, reflect in a quiet meditative moments. With its huge, shady trees and bamboo-and-wooden fan vibe, this urban oasis offers an alternative to a basic mall. You can have lunch or a drink, browse the shops, find a quiet spot enjoy a view of the city from the rooftop bar with a craft cocktail or a glass of wine, or just relax and enjoy the place. The shops are micro boutiques where you can find handmade scarfs, sneakers, vintage apparel and clothing, jewelry, accessories, artwork, sunglasses, rugs, fragrances and household items. And more. Your best bet is to roam through the tiny boutiques and search for treasures and have fun!

Beautiful plaza. Lots of restaurant choices, great coffee, and open seating. Super cute boutique shops and a full bar.

Upper Buena Vista is an old neighborhood with a new bohemian vibe. Located south of Little Haiti and north of the Miami Design District, in the 1890's it was a small village, home to cracker immigrants from Georgia and North Carolina. Along with Lemon City and Little River, Upper Buena Vista is one of the oldest settlements in Miami. Many of the homes here date to Florida's land bloom years of the 1920's when the first subdivisions were built. On August 4, 1924, the new town of Buena Vista was incorporated only to be annexed by the City of Miami the next year. In the summer of 2018 a new outdoor shopping mall opened centered around the huge banyan and ficus trees. It was designed by developers David Lahny and Michal Aviv who took their inspiration from the trees already on the property and Tulum and Tel Aviv. The duo created a space where you can drink, dine, shop, and relax. This was my first time visiting Upper Buena Vista and iI was impressed. In the center is the Bodhi wish tree where you can write a wish on a ribbon, tie it to the tree, and receive eternal blessings. Under the tree sits an incredible art piece of Pinocchio. Lining the perimeter is a series of micro boutiques selling hand crafted artisan goods and food. Shops sold jewelry, bags, plants, and vintage clothing and accessories. Places to eat include the restaurant Vista from husband and wife team Robert Bearzi and Fiorella Blanco. It has a rooftop bar. I saw a long line for the $9 drinks from Amazonica. They were serving up Instagram worthy creations of Columbian fruit juice and shaved ice. I ate at Maya'mi Cocina which creates street tacos from an Airstream trailer in a garden setting. I also saw places selling poke bowls, raw juice, and Italian food. You can also get a tattoo here or have your hair cut and styled. I know there is so much more to explore here and I can't wait to come back and do that. Upper Buena Vista offers free Wi-Fi and plenty of inviting, shady places to sit. I parked on the street and used the pay by phone app but later on I saw that they had their own free lot but you needed a receipt validated to use it. I am bringing my friend back to try Vista. Count me among the fans of the nature, artsy, chill vibe here.

My first instinct was to run far, far away from UBV as it seemed like the sort of place that would cause my eyes to roll uncontrollably. Just a little too "precious" and hip. However, we were close by and in need of lunch, so in we went. I actually loved the tree house-y vibe! It's lushly landscaped and has beautiful, natural artwork incorporated into the scenic setting. The stores are not anything that I would find remotely useful, but it's nice that UBV is creating a space for niche retail. Everything can't be Target! I went on a particularly cool day and it was very pleasant. I'm not sure what it would be like in the heat of summer, but it is almost completely shaded. Also, it's located in a residential area so the parking isn't that abundant. All in all, it's very much worth it to stop in and relax in a little oasis!

Brunchbiance this place shouts, this place looks like nothing from the street. Once you are in, is other level, jungle vibe, many little nooks with pricey local shops, huge tree to hug and have coffee with. Stephania was our server, she was great, juggled like 6 tables by herself on brunch Sunday service. Live bossa nova and boleros on the back while enjoying all that green jungle. Bottomless mimosas $35 I Don't know why but i felt I was being timed every time I finished a mimosa they would wait an extra 10 minutes to refill. Food was not memorable very bland, only the potatoes played the supporting acting roll, they had a fantastic flavor however, somehow they manage to fail a simple pricey brunch menu leaving my palate sad and lonely. Valet parking team very rude and inexperienced.

Discovered this new sweet little shopping spot unexpectedly after going to Amazonica located inside. Little did I know Amazonica would be located in this sanctuary of a mall. This place is truly an oasis. It has shops, boutiques mostly. Also food concepts and Artisan services are located inside. It's a locals paradise away from the commercialized businesses. It's like, I want to go shopping away from the crowds and away from the corporate stores type of place. This mall reminds me of Animal Kingdom. There's a Wish Tree to make wishes, an art gallery, Pinocchio & Mickey statue/art display, fountains, yoga studio, places to sit and enjoy the scenery. I was truly taken back by the ambiance and I especially loved the Brazilian/jungle music playing in the background. The stores are tiny and we noticed they didn't have bathrooms. We later noticed the bathrooms are in a separate place and yes they are decorated nicely. Think of it as a mall in Animal Kingdom surrounded by trees, bamboo, art and music. I loved it and I kind of hope this place stays undiscovered so it stays magical. I am definitely coming back here especially when the rooftop restaurant, Vista opens. Small parking lot, but street metered parking available.

Honestly such a cute little spot in a up and coming neighborhood. You can do work, hang out or just unwind in this spot. I'm so happy I've found it plus they hold a ton of little events here. Ohh and barista at the Honduran spot is awesome. He knows so much about coffee.

I'm so glad I took the recommendation. First and foremost, downtown Miami is nothing like it was over 10 years ago. The transformation is incredible. The skyline is filled with stunning high-rise buildings, beautiful hotels, clean streets, and the entire area feels modern, upscale, and safe. It's immaculate and a completely different vibe from South Beach. After visiting, I can honestly say my next trip to Miami will likely be centered around Brickell instead. As for Brickell City Centre itself, it's an impressive, world-class shopping destination. The mall is beautifully designed, spotless, and home to just about every luxury and popular retail brand you can think of. The selection of shops and restaurants is excellent. Most of the dining options are located on the upper level, although you'll find additional restaurants scattered throughout the mall. The open-air design, connected by escalators, makes it easy to navigate, and there's even a movie theater on the top floor. The center is divided into the East and North Blocks, which are well connected. My only complaint was getting an Uber after my visit. Finding the mall was easy, but getting picked up was another story. I waited over 15 minutes because the app repeatedly directed my driver to a different pickup location. I was standing outside the East Block near the Nespresso boutique, yet my driver kept being routed toward the North Block near Bally. If you're planning to use Uber or Lyft, allow yourself some extra time and double-check the designated pickup location before requesting your ride. Other than that minor inconvenience, Brickell City Centre exceeded my expectations and was one of the highlights of my trip to Miami.

Dior stood out in particular, as the staff were attentive, offered samples, and created a more engaging shopping experience. The other stores I visited were also pleasant and accommodating. I've been coming here since the days when Howard Austin Feld had his shop here, when you could still park on the street and the crowd felt more local than curated. Back then, it was quirky galleries, mom-and-pop shops, and artists setting up easels by the fountains. History matters here. Originally designed in the 1910s by Carl Fisher (the same guy who basically invented Miami Beach), it was later reimagined in the 1950s by Morris Lapidus, the legendary architect behind the Fontainebleau. He turned Lincoln Road into a pedestrian mall--a radical idea at the time--that gave Miami Beach its own open-air Broadway. For decades, it was where retirees fed pigeons, musicians played for tips, and snowbirds people-watched under the palms. Today? It's glossier. Trendy flagship stores, outdoor cafés charging $9 for a latte, and enough selfie sticks to arm a small militia. The pigeons have been replaced by pickup artists--guys working the crowd like it's spring break year-round, angling for phone numbers from beautiful women in sundresses. Depending on your vibe, it's either comedy gold or background noise. But here's the truth: Lincoln Road is still Lincoln Road. The fountains still splash, the architecture still hums with mid-century glamour, and the people-watching is world-class. From models strutting past with shopping bags to a family of tourists melting under the Miami sun, this strip remains Miami Beach's beating heart.

Not having a Starbucks is actually a good thing, so. Local stores is exactly what Wynwood Block has. In fact it's all local in here. If that alone isn't enough to give a 5 star rating, just look at the insane designs and truly unique visuals of this mall. I've never seen anything like it. If more shopping centres looked like this, I'd visit more shopping centres.

Wynwood Block opened recently in Miami (Opened 2014) and takes up a whole city block on 2nd Ave. The block definitely defines their presence by having tons of beautiful creative artwork surrounding the area. The exterior has a raw concrete look, but the inside is colorful and bright, bringing out the liveliness in the area. There's a corridor that direct people from the main strip to the back area where there are tons of tables and chairs that are set up. The Block is set up to where patrons can walk and eat while they shop. I came here while visiting the Wynwood area and couldn't help but fall in love with the artwork and the beauty of this place! I found cute jewelry and clothing shops inside. There are furniture and coffee shops located inside as well. However, there is no Starbucks, so don't come here hoping to find local stores. This place stands out by offering patrons something they can't find anywhere else. I would definitely recommend stopping in here when in the area. This place is definitely one of my favorite places within the area, besides the Wynwood Wall!
