Horrible customer service.. They're lazy, inconsiderate, liars, and give their customers attitude.. I refuse to ever deal with these guys again.. After my incident, I was glad to walk out of there and never see them again..
My story:
I totaled my car and it was towed here. I called on a Monday morning asking for my license plates to be removed so I can pick them up. Was told that they will call me back when it has been done.. Never got that call.
I called again Tuesday morning and they said that they will have them off before noon, and to come pick them up around that time. So I drove there and I was told that my car was buried in snow, so one guy handed me a shovel and told me to dig it out... So I go to my car to find that it was not actually buried in snow, however, my car was pinned against a wooden fence (less than 2 inches away) and the rear plate could not be reached.
I walk back in and told that guy. With an attitude, he tells me that there are no trucks available to pull my car out and will call me later that day when they do so. That was understandable, up until I walked outside and saw two Dadswells tow trucks parked right outside. I let that one go.
Called Wednesday and I was told the front plate has been removed (finally) but the rear has yet to be pulled out. Expecting a call later that day, but never got one.
Thursday comes around and I call in the morning asking what's going on. I was told both plates have been removed and to come get them. So I get there, and I was handed one plate.. Sure enough, I was lied to about both plates... I told him that I needed both, and he says "I told you to dig your car out and I gave you a shovel to do so. There's nothing we can do since we have no available trucks." (I looked before walking inside, saw 3 trucks parked outside the garage...)
I said that the snow was not the problem, and I told him twice earlier that week, that my car was pinned against the fence. He tells me that Geico was going to be there in 10 minutes to pull the car out. I waited 30 minutes for them to arrive. So they pull my car out and I ask Dadswells for a tool so I can remove my license plate myself. The guy takes about 15 minutes to find a tool for me.. I finally got my plate off myself, went inside, placed the tool on the counter and planned on never getting serviced by this place ever again. read more
