I brought my Porsche 911 there to get the transmission fixed. It took forever and when I got my…read morecar back the transmission failed again. I brought it back and again after many weeks they fixed it and said it was something it was not. I had my Porsche Mechanic look at it and he confirmed that they didnt put it back together correctly. Then I was driving my car shortly after that 2nd repair and while going around a turn my rear driver side tire flew off the car. Again the car went back to my Porsche mechanic and he informed me they over torqued the lug nuts which he confirmed by showing me the lug nuts and when checking the other tires he said most of them were stripped out and eventually would have gave out and could have ended in a terrible accident. The transmission repair was over $6,000 and the damage to the wheel, caliper and lugs was $4000 plus from their incompetency. NO ONE should trust this place and ID suggest reading more reviews and you will reconsider. I should have done my due diligence before taking my car there. They are simply terrible and I should sue them.

I paid nearly $5,000 for the repair. Unfortunately, when I got the vehicle back, it was still having problems shifting gears. I returned the vehicle to the shop in May 2026 so they could address the issue. As of this review, they have had my vehicle for approximately three months without resolving the problem. During that time, I have repeatedly called for updates. Each time, I was told I would receive an update by the end of the day, but I did not receive one, and I was not contacted with meaningful information about the status of my vehicle. Based on my experience, I have been very disappointed with the communication and the lack of progress on the repair. I would not recommend this shop to others, and I encourage anyone considering using their services to carefully evaluate their options.

I contacted AmTon Auto & Truck using their online appointment scheduler about an air conditioning…read moreproblem I was having with a company van. You can certainly call their phone but I opted to use their electronic communication options. Online scheduling was easy via their website. Received a follow up text to confirm the appointment and received drop off instructions. There is certainly a person answering the texts, which was nice. Diagnosing the problem didn't take very long; maybe a couple of hours after I dropped it off. I was sent a link to view the findings from the technician, complete with important photos, and recommendations. I received a second link that was used to verify which repairs I would like performed, and their costs. At that point, I either agree or disagree to the individual parts and labors that were recommended. I Signed the electronic agreement and moved on with my day. I Received another text when the van was complete. This was my first time visiting AmTon and I believe them to be running an honest and trustworthy business. I hope to not have to return under the same circumstances, but if I need to, they will be my first call.
