I visited the new Toro Loco in Doral today (Saturday around 3 PM). The wait time for a table was…read moreabout 40 minutes or more, so we decided to grab a seat at the bar instead. It turned out to be a great choice! The service was excellent; all the servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The food was outstanding. I ordered the sliced Ribeye cooked medium, and it was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. To top it off, the beer was ice cold--exactly what you need for the Miami summer heat. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

I have visited another location and my review of the Doral location is exactly the same if not…read morebetter- so I will be repeating myself a bit.... But I mean every word with my whole heart! Pauli was our server and our food was amazing! As soon as you walk in to El Toro Loco you will find that it is loud, crowded, and exactly where you're supposed to be. The people dining there have already discovered what you're about to- that this is where you want to eat from now on! The Menu is also crowded- but intuitative! You point to the picture of the meat that you want and get it. Which drink looks the most delicious? That's the one you're getting! This restaurant knows how to serve food and theatrics WELL. Everything down to the chairs, custom tables, glassware and plating, and content featured on screens! Everything is perfectly curated and fits the 'El Toro Loco' theming. This restaurant is Texas De Brazil and Fogo De Chow's younger, smarter, and more delicious sibling. For years I've seen this restaurant and hadn't tried it but today I went with my family and it is genuinely everything these either restaurants wish they were. We ordered The Piña colada, passion fruit margarita and pineapple mojito were delicious and had a beautiful presentation with dry ice! *SPOILER* There's a 'loco toro' scull reigning over the restaurant by the front entrance that blows smoke out of its nostrils during birthday desert presentations. I am a huge fan of strong theming and this for me really makes this restaurant sing. Not because it's fun and cute but because the owners clearly put thought into making their guests feel special and appreciated during their celebrations. That's a small detail that goes far in creating brand loyalty for a longgg time and a very fun touch! The food itself is spectacular! The truffle mac and cheese is well worth it and a MUST order! Mac and cheese sides often feel neglected but at El Toro Loco they give it the love it deserves. We also got the grilled pineapple which worked as a great palate cleanser during our meal and avocado salad (We had so much meat we could barely touch it so we took it home but it was delicious nonetheless!) The platter we ordered came with a hot sauce and a chimi churi sauce that was so good we asked for an extra portion of it! I dined as a party of three but what we ordered would still leave enough left overs for four people. The pricing per person is phenomenal! This is not Texas De Brazil on a budget it's EL TORO LOCO!! The service was wonderful as well! Our server was very attentive and kind and gave wonderful recommendations as it was our first time dining here. The food she described as 'Fire' was in fact fire!!

The sign said "original Mexican food" and the entrance claims "Best Birria Tacos." So obviously we…read morecould not resist. The girl working the kitchen was welcoming and polite. I reallly really wanted to love it, but it's meh. It is very clean, small, colorful. But idc abt the decor. I care abt the food bc I am a taco lover. Tacos are more than meat on a tortilla. Tacos are history, culture, memories. And these tacos, are as authentic as Taco Bell. Not bad. Fast. And will scratch that itch. But they are not memorable. But how could they be? When the person cooking is not even Mexican. The Al pastor tacos are not on a trompo. The steak tastes like any restaurant steak you've had in any Latin restaurant, just diced up, put on a tortilla, and sprinkled w cilantro. If you put both tacos in front of me and blindfolded me, I could only tell them apart bc of the pineapple. I will give them props on the birria empanadas. By far the most memorable dish. It is not the crust of a Mexican empanada. More like Venezuelan empanadas. But the crust lends itself really nicely to be dipped into the consomé. The quesabirria cheese was your standard Mexican blend from any supermarket instead of Oaxaca, asadero, or chihuahua. Ur felt unnecessarily greasy. I don't think we will be back.

GREAT Birrea tacos!!! Specially on taco Tuesday only $2 each. Great service and ambience. Got to go…read moreback for the steak nachos.

I've been seeing El Bori Food Truck for a while whenever I'm in the Wynwood area, so I finally…read moredecided to give it a try. I ordered the "pork in my belly", and I have to say--the flavor was really good. The mofongo was topped with what tasted like a cilantro sauce, and there was some kind of crunchy element (maybe Cheetos or something similar?) that actually worked really well. The pork chunks were on point--tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. I also want to mention that the man who took my order and brought me my food was very kind, and I didn't have to wait long at all, which I really appreciated. That said, cleanliness is a big deal for me. I tend to notice those things, and unfortunately, this is where my experience changed. The outside of the food truck looked dirty, and I noticed spots on the ceiling that made me a bit uneasy. Inside, I saw a young woman on her phone, talking with one hand while scratching her head with the other, and then grabbing aluminum foil--presumably to handle food. That really didn't sit right with me. While the food itself was flavorful, and I'm thankful the gentleman preparing my order was wearing gloves, the overall cleanliness concerns make it hard for me to return. For me, hygiene is just as important as taste. This is the reason for my 3 stars.
