Some of my favorite pizza near the Kendall/Pinecrest area!! We order from here at least a few times a month. Great Neapolitan pizza!

Want some fresh, delicious, cheesy, scrumptious pizza at night ??? Well this food truck is the place to go to meet all those needs... nothing but hot goodness ! I've eaten here twice before, same pizza - Bad Boy, and eventually will try something different , but why change something that's so scrumptious from being devoured ? So I'll stick to it. This is a cozy little food truck located in the Kendall ish area. They have the truck setup in some grass area with available tables for a small group or for 2. You can take your pet but be aware that they can't poop in the grass area, which is understandable, no one wants to eat where there is the smell or scent of dog poop. The open area is covered by a tent and some outdoor lighting, very nice place with a touch of music playing. Service is great, they take your order and bring out the pizza or pizzas once your order is ready, so it's fresh. I would recommend eating it there and enjoying it fresh out of the oven. I've tried the Bad Boy, and omgoodness... packed with pepperoni, Gorgonzola cheese, basil, honey, and it's a magical combination of ingredients for pure goodness in a pizza. If you're in the area, come and try out this amazing pizza food truck. Cost is $$$ ( average about $22 a pizza I would say) but beats any other place.. read more

My cousin loves this pizza so we decided to order three pizzas from here a couple days ago. We ordered: The Crazy Goat Pepperoni Cheese I didn't think I'd like the Crazy Goat but it was delicious! I like white pizzas. Next time I'll try the Four Cheese pizza. The dough is what really makes this pizza good. It's thin but cooked perfectly!! I need to ask for extra marinade to dip the crust in next time. I normally don't eat the crust but this one is actually good! Sweet baby Jesus was this place delicious!!! Perfection. It is outdoor, so you know it's humid, there were a few little flies, but again, it's outdoor seating so what can u really expect? They have the cutest set up, simple, evocative of summer camp. The service was extremely fast, faster than I expected for 2 pizzas. We ordered the Crazy Goat and Capricciosa. Let's start w the dough. Thin, handcrafted perfection. Baked in a brick oven. The tomato sauce on the capricciosa is perfectly balanced, neither sweet nor acidic. Just delicious. The quality of the ingredients shines through on every bite. But the crazy goat?! That, is heaven. Orgasmic. It took my soul to another plane. The perfect blend of cheeses, the sweet touch of organic honey, and the crunch of the slivered almonds. It is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten anywhere in the US. The food was really good, especially the Pizza Bianca (we wish we would have gotten two of these!). My biggest complaint is the wait time, I know it's a food truck, but over an hour wait time when it wasn't even busy was a little bit much. Decided to visit this location again last night, and while there is no denying that the pizzas are delicious, "note to self" to never go again on a Friday night ... oh my, we waited 80 minutes for our order! Nice people, great pizzas with fresh ingredients, but make sure you go early. I was craving pizza and my husband said "someone had recommenders a good pizza place" and suggested we go. As we got in the car I noticed he was heading to an area we normally don't go. When we arrived I saw a food truck. Not just your average food truck but a beautifully decorated food truck with a wood burning oven inside. I looked at the menu and asked the man inside what his recommendations were and his best sellers. He suggested we try the margarita and then I went for the one that had arugula and lemon. We sat down in the picnic area and within 15 minutes our pizzas were there. The Margarita Pizza was light, the sauce was sweet and had just the right amount, the dough was cooked to perfection. Not too crispy and not soft. The prosciutto pizza was great. The arugula was fresh and crisp and mozzarella was warm. The lemon was on the side to drizzle to taste. I could not stop talking to friends about it the next day. I ended up picking up 4 pizzas and inviting them for a tasting! Congrats to your authentic Napoli pizza. We will be back and bring more people. This is too good to be kept a secret. read more

Pretty good for a food truck but just not the greatest. I tried this pizza after hearing my family rant and rave about it forever. I will admit that the sauce of the pizza is really delicious tasting but it was too much sauce and not enough toppings for my taste. I had dinner with my family and we ordered a sausage, pepperoni and ham pizza, a margarita pizza and a margarita pizza with onion. The pizzas were very bready with hardly any cheese or toppings and ridiculously thin in some parts. Even ordering three pizzas I was left hungry as the pizzas are very small and thin. We curiously went back to the order page and the pizzas were all sold out an entire hour before closing! I can't say I'm a fan of this pizza or that it's a pizza I would go out of my way to order again. read more

In celebration of #ThankYouThursday I want to write an update of the most AMAZING pizza food truck ever. (IMHO) By far, this place rivals many fine dining pizza....trust me on this one! Ciro is from Italy and his pizza screams it. NO, this is not New York style and that is an insult once you devour a slice and fully get it. Since first discovering this food truck, I have become a regular and have never looked elsewhere. I would recommend eating this pizza as soon as it comes out of the oven. When the world normalizes, he has a very nice set up with tables and chairs along with a canopy. To top it off, he has taken great care during these unique times and has been mindful of limited contact when making purchases. He is still open and taking it home is still amazing. This is the best pizza in town. I LOVE pizza and I now forsake some bigger, more flashy places in town after finding Acqua e farina. The dough is a flavorful pillow. The ingredients are fresh and innovative. My dad doesn't even like pizza and when I introduced him to this place he told me "I've never eaten 4 slices of pizza in my life, but that was fantastic." Even ordering through the third party all, my order or any modifications have not once been incorrect. I would usually never order lasagna at a restaurant and I also really dislike warming up lasagna left overs. But wow, the lasagna here is amazinggggg. This is legit Italian made Pizza, the owner is ITalian hahaha. The menu is very small, makes it easy to choose. If you don't know what to choose, ask the owner and he will guide you to some yummy pizza options. Being a food truck, the parking is right next to warehouses. There are two tents with tables and seats. I ordered the "Sofia" pizza which brings meatball and ricotta, it was so delicious! If I wasn't trying to keep my curves in check I would have devoured the entire 14" pizza hahaha. My partner in crime ordered the margherita with prosciutto as a topping. He too loved his pizza. We ended up taking an entire box home because neither one could finish the entire thing. Lastly we had the Profiteroles, which are like eclairs covered in chocolate mousse. Decided to visit since I am always on the hunt for a good pizza! Arriving you see a food truck it is decorated nicely and the setup of the area is very cute. The lady in charge of ordering was friendly and she brings the food out to you once it is ready. I ordered the Sorrentina pizza and my friend ordered gnocchi. My pizza was tasty and the crust was very good one of the best doughs I have had in Miami it was cooked crispy but not so much and not chewy either. You can tell the base ingredients were good. The sauce was quite tasty as well. The prosciutto it had wasn't my favorite but overall the pizza was quite tasty and I enjoyed it and would eat it again. As for the price I think its a bit over priced especially because the location is outdoors in the heat and of course with all outdoor establishments there is flies that bug you when eating making it kind of a mission. My pizza and a can of sprite was 30$ the tiramisu was 9$ and it was actually a good tiramisu. I would return and take one of the lower priced pizzas to go. read more
