If you are a Cornell, Ithaca College or Hobson & William college kid bringing your car to college you need to call in September to have the underbody of your vehicle sprayed with rust protection each year. This is to winterize your car with a rust resistant undercoating. New York's finger lake region heavily salts the roads to prevent ice build up, but the rest wrecks the cars (just look at the older cars & trucks in town to see the excessive rust damage). Daggetts Garage use a wet "Fluid Film" brand lubricant that uses lanolin (a sheep oil) that lasts longer than WD-40 or rubber spray on coatings that can crack and hold salted road water. They also do the yearly state vehicle inspection and put the required sticker on your windshield. All in all a great garage.
