This normally involves everything that is checked during a state safety inspection, but with additional checks on the functionality of the vehicle and its systems (electrical, cosmetics, etc). I requested an engine compression test, and was told it would involve more time, which was fine. What I received: 10 photos of the undercarriage and two lines about the seller being old and needing to sell. No start. No compression test. No other photos. No evidence anything else had been examined. Chris was polite and apologetic, and he did adjust the invoice, but I was left with no clear idea about the vehicle, despite paying for exactly that service.

I called on a Monday and the shop was able to get me in on Friday. The manger, Michael, is great to work with. I'll be back for my future car maintenance needs. Oh, and they have WiFi if you need to wait for your car and work while waiting.
