I've been going to Jeff at Archangel for about 5 years now, each time I've been tattooed by him I have left highly satisfied and recommended him and the tattoo shop in general to many friends and family. The atmosphere is chill and the other guys who work there are cool as hell and always quick to help whether you're walking in to see what they can do for you or if you call on the phone. The art speaks for itself, I highly recommend Archangel and how thankful I am to have found such an incredible tattoo artist. Thank you times a million!!

Scooby is not that nice of a person. He says that adults are just "big baby's so you have to cuss at them to make them listen" . Great reviews for this place but I would not make it my go to for piercings. read more

I went here a couple months ago to get my septum pierced. I tend to get piercings/tattoos when stressed. The piercer was so friendly, professional and answered every question I had. She even gave me the name of an online shop where I could get good jewelry once it healed. The placement is great. It's right where it's supposed to be and looks amazing. I'm a freshman in college and wanted to do something rebellious in my first semester, so I came to get my belly button pierced with my roommate back in October! We walked in and they checked ID and had me sign a waiver. They had some cool jewelry on display as well as tattoo sketchbooks and TV in the waiting area. The desk also had condoms in a bowl and I'll be honest I do not think I was prepared to see that in real life. It only cost about $30!!! After a little bit, we saw two girls come from the back who had also just gotten their belly buttons pierced too! they looked pretty good. I told Scooby I was nervous and he started up a conversation with me about how school was going and honestly, completely distracted me from all the anxiety I was feeling! He swears kind of a lot (something I also was not prepared for) but he's so sweet and calming! Once he was finished setting up, he took me to the back table where I was to be pierced. He sterilized several pieces of jewelry for me to pick! I was expecting him to let me pick first then sterilize just the one, but he went out of his way, and from my previous (6 piercings) experience have never seen that done before!!! It was really sweet of him. he walked me through how things would go, marked my tummy and placed the clamp on it, had me lie down and he pierced it! It hurt more to put the jewelry in than the actual piercing itself and if you stare too hard you'll see its a tiny bit crooked but that is probably from the way I was laying. but overall I had a really good experience and will most definitely be back! read more

This place was fabulous! These guys are very professional and thorough. The place was very clean and I was impressed with the care and attention to detail I received. The artist was very patient, took great care to change his gloves frequently every time he touched anything before working on my tat again. He made sure I was completely and totally happy with the design that he created based only on my "poor" description! He is a true artist! I'd recommend this place to anyone! read more

the best! i have gotten my last 3 piercings here and i'm so glad i did. they're all really cool and nice people. very sanitary and they are very good at walking you through the process and telling you how to take care of it. i have had my tongue, medusa, and second nostril pierced here, and they are by far my easiest piercings with the easiest healing (after going to multiple other shops for multiple other piercings). none of them have gotten infected or been pierced in a bad spot. i recommend it every single time someone asks me where they can get a piercing! read more

Don't be fooled by the shady area or older looking building, this place is great. Archangel has a very down to earth feel and I instantly felt comfortable. Pabby pierced my nose and made me feel at ease. He took the time to explain things and was very chill. I chatted it up with some of the other employees and one told me he tattoos someone the way he would want to be tattooed. The place is clean and friendly. When you head in, Ask for Scooby! He is great. Last time I visited, they can and will do multiple piercings in one trip. I don't think they would recommend getting both piercings at once if they are on the same side of your face.

Hi! last time I visited here, all piercings were $30 before tip (including jewelry) but most shops consider an industrial two separate piercings so it would be $60 total! Ask for scooby he is WONDERFUL.

My artist at this studio has been on the proffessional circut for over 17 yrs. He is not boisterous or arrogant. I can honestly say these are just a few of the points that made me a loyal client. Not to mention he is a award winning artist. When I first walked into the studio after doing some research I went to talk with one of the artists at Archangel. While I was explaining my tat concept the artist was doodling on some paper after a moment he stopped me and showed what he was doodling. To my amazment it was exactly what I had been describing and what I had invisioned !! So right off the bat I knew this artist was good. They made me feel right at home, & As I sat down and looked over the design I could not help but to notice the TN.health scores proudly displayed on their wall with scores of 100%.Going forward ,I could have not have been more happy with the results, no problems healing, etc.. I recently had some absolutley wonderful cover-up work done on my back at ArchAngel Tattoo Studio by Jay Evans. I had an awful looking tattoo at the top of my back that I wanted coverd-up. After exstensive research trying to find an Artist who's work impressed me I came across Jay at ArchAngel Tattoo Studio in Nashville. I seen some of his work on a friend of mine and had to check them out, and I must say I couldn't have made a better choice of who I wanted to fix the tragedy that was on my body for life! I am more than impressed of what he did for me. The guys at ArchAngel were extremely professional, courtsious, and fast! The studio was very clean and put together. I felt very comfortable letting them ink me. Since then I have been a loyal customer and have went back for more!!!! Amazing job Scooby thank you so much!! Went to get my nose pierced and they have a very experienced piercer who explained everything in depth and answered any questions. He cares about his clients and made sure to give in depth aftercare instructions, as well as a paper so you don't forget what you need to do to make sure you take care of your piercing while it heals & it doesn't get infected. I really appreciate his straight forward personality and how real of a person he is. That is hard to come by now days. He was very kind, patient & cared unlike other places I have been to. I have had pericerings done before other places and no other place showed the knowledge and professionalism he showed. I would deffinely recommend you come here for your piercings. There are to many good things that I personally can say about this place,But honestly, if you want to know I recommend finding out for yourself. In short ,The artists really care about their work and the safety of their customers. If you have been to other shops here in Nashville, stop in this one. You will immedentlly notice the difference! I went there with some freinds and was tattooed by Jay. I could not be more content with the results as well my freinds who were tattoed by Pabby. These guy's really have a wonderful vibe and the enviroment is very relaxed.I have been back several times since. My girl friend and I were told about this place,at first glance we should have driven off,its run down to say the least but we went in and were shown pictures of tattoos they said they did......BIG LIE,theres no way those pictures were done by these guys,we got tattoos and as we were leaving I knew we had been RIPED OFF.Are tattoos looked really bad,how hard is it to do 2 hearts,needless to say my girlfriend was in tears and we had to circles on are arms that DON'T LOOK LIKE HEARTS,I was told a week later that this place is the WORST IN TOWN !! Pabby, Jay, Hudson, and Scoot are some the most down to earth solid artists I have ever had the pleasure of getting tattooed by. I went in just shopping around for a studio that I could trust to put my vision of a great tattoo into reality and was blown away with the results of my visit and now I am hooked! Nashville Tn. Tattoo !! These Guys are amazing!! Health scores across the board are 100%!! The artists are artists !! I received several Tattoos at different locations around Nashville and by far this is the place to go!! If you Are considering getting tattooed I highly recommend talking to these guys first!! I cannot say enough about this studio..I have a large Oriental piece by these guys and I cant go any where in a tank top without constantly being stopped and asked to shop it off..with the usual questions..Where did you get that? Did it hurt... But they did a incredible job and I am more than happy to tell them Archangel Tattoo Studio in Nashville it's where you need to go if you want a great tat like this one. read more

Archangel Tattoo is the ONLY place that I will get tattooed! I have received alot of work from these guys, I am 110% satisfied-everytime! I recently stopped by and they had a new artist from Miami, and his name is Hudson...WOW, his work is beautiful, he fits in perfect with J and Pabby, as they too are amazing! Scooby done my vertical labret piercing awhile back and I absolutely love it. So when my sister wanted her nose and belly button done for her 18th birthday (in September) I took her to Scooby he was able to keep her calm and get both piercings done in great timing and is so friendly and straightforward with what needs to be done to help it heal and what not to do. The only place I will go now for piercings. read more
