You get what you pay for. Saturday lunch was approx $9 per person including a fountain drink. Without the drink its approx. $8. Some of the food items were hits and misses. They have limited options for sushi (3-4 varieties) and a hibachi grill which was unattended but the chef will come at request. Table service was quick and attentive. My favorite items were the string beans (fresh, flavorful and had a nice crunch), mini scallops inside a shell, chinese donuts, butter potatoes and cream cheese sushi. Did not like most of the meats as the dishes we tried were not tender. The red velvet cake was meh but the ice cream bar was good. For the inexpensive price, its not a bad deal.

Pretty good as far as Chinese buffets go, and priced affordably. Off the top of my head I think it's under $14 including a drink. I have a few favorite items I usually stick to and they're mostly consistently good as long as you don't go at an off time where the food isn't being refreshed often. Hot & sour soup is one of my favorites here - I admittedly haven't had it at many other places to compare, but it's tasty and a little spicy and I always get it here. Sushi rolls are basic but a nice option. Not the most nicely decorated restaurant, but that's not what I'm there for. Take out boxes are a nice option if you want to take your food home instead. Took off one star only because I feel it could be kept a bit cleaner, but I've never had any issues with the food for the many years I've been coming here.

Pictures from two different visits for reference. Overall a great location to eat. The price is pretty much what you'd expect for both lunch & dinner. I believe 8.99 & 14.99 before drinks but don't quote me. The food was usually very fresh and had a great variety. I never had a problem with cleanliness so I was happy to go back. The bathroom can use work since the stalls were broken but not a deal breaker. Staff was attentive and polite. Sushi variety was good, soups well made & the food was great. Con: the hibachi was never open and if it was open no one was ever present to attend it but was included in the pricing.

Basic china buffet. Sunday at 2pm still a few fresh items out. Don't expect anything fancy. I was happy.

Great selection of food to choose from! Nothing tasted fantastic, yet nothing was bad. Great choice for a low cost stomach fill for less than $10 a person. Daily Buffet is an All-You-Can-Eat Chinese Restaurant and the experience and atmosphere you get here is very authentic. They take additional precautions for COVID and required face coverings.

I personally love going here for their honey chicken and teriyaki chicken.

I got the mooshu chicken and teriyaki sticks.... none of this is rocket science but it wasn't greasy and the chicken was not fried in the oil like some places do. This is a military town so maybe there are folks from larger cities and the west coast that demand a better pac-rim/asian/Chinese product. Between the pho joint, the sushi place, and this take-out joint...they are pretty lucky to have these in the tundra of New York.

In addition, they were w/o any dumpling sauce. The prom fried rice was missing the typical scrambled egg ingredient, scant peas, carrots and onion and scant pork pieces. The hot n sour soup was missing bamboo shoots and pork. After a long drive, I was so disappointed and left hungry since the dumplings were inedible, the rice bland and the soup lacking normal ingredients. In fairness the spring rolls were fine. I'd been happier w/ a quick drive-through of fast food. Prices were typical - food quality was blatantly not. I certainly will not be stopping there again.

When we got there, we were greeted and sat at the hibachi grill instantly. There was one other table, with about 5 people, when we were sat. Our waitress was over within a couple minutes to take our food and drink orders. Within a couple minutes of ordering, my wife and I were brought a ginger salad and miso soup. The ginger salad was your typical ginger salad with crunchy vegetables and bright dressing. The miso soup was some of the most flavorful miso soup I have ever had, and it made me want a second bowl seeing it was a colder day. To start I ordered a spicy maki combo sushi, which consisted of spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and spicy salmon rolls. The sushi came out relatively fast, and was very presentable. All of the sushi tasted fresh, and did not have that fishy taste that I have had with getting these rolls at other restaurants. After a little while, our hibachi chef came to our table, greeted us, and had us move to the seats in front of the grill, seeing we were the only two at the table. He started off by making sure he had the correct orders for us, and then lit the grill on fire, which had a very nice warmth to it. The chef did a great job putting on a show for us, while cooking our food! Our chef also had some good throws, when myself and my wife both caught pieces of broccoli in our mouths. The chef was also funny and squirted water into both of our mouths, from a bottle that had a top that looked like a child was peeing the liquid out . The chef made sure to tell us everything he was doing while he cooked our food. I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi with fried rice, vegetables, and 2 shrimp. The vegetables had a great cook on them, with that distinct teriyaki flavor. The steak and chicken were both cooked well. I was gladly surprised the chicken didn't have that dry/squeaky texture it some times can. The rice was okay, it had good flavor but seemed slightly over done. The 2 pieces of shrimp were good but nothing to write home about. Overall, we had a great time. Our hibachi chef was amazing, and my wife and I will be back in the future.

I decided it'd be cool after Toronto instead of going the same way back to go up east-northeast and come back into the US from the Thousands Islands Bridge to see something different. We arrived in Kingston at dinnertime hungry but unsure what to eat. I looked on Yelp after parking in downtown, but was still unsure. My girlfriend & I needed to use restroom and popped in a hotel. We asked the front desk recommendations. She recommended Dianne's very close walk. We ate outside. It was balmy for Kingston in early June with temps in the 70's F around 8 PM; their average high temp in early June is only upper 60's F (around 20 C). Our server was friendly. She said people are enjoying the first really warm evening of the season. We both got their fish n' chips. It's an Alaskan Pacific haddock as opposed to cod or others used. This is superior to other fish n' chips I've had. This is delicious. Fries were good too, but the fish was the real star and about the best fried fish I've had.

Since we're not locals in the area, we opted for the poutine then my daughter opted for the fish taco. Her food was actually good but rather a very small serving. Either that, or we're used to American-sized servings. The poutine we had was the seafood type since we figured out, they should have amazing seafood since we're near water. Flavor-wise, I think they needed more. The sauce that came with it did not seem to give justice to the dish. Nice location though. And service was good. Food, unfortunately, felt short of my expectations.
