I arrived about an hour before closing. No raised donuts available, just a few options of cake donuts, old fashioned and these raisin snails, of which I selected one and a large latte. Both were amazingly wonderful! The snail was croissant-like and very fresh. The latte was perfectly crafted with a rich foam and delicious espresso. Took mine to go but there was plenty of outside seating available, interior was clean and service was quick. I'll have to come in earlier to see a larger selection. Definitely worth another visit!

The Daily Donut does a banging business ! They ate located off of McKnight Way in Grass Valley. They are OPEN during construction This shopping center is doing a huge face-lift...it's next door to the new Target. There is also Big 5 and SPD grocery store... And plenty more. The reason this place is always packed is because they have competitive prices on donuts and coffee drinks! They also make breakfast sandwiches and cold drinks. I got 2 donuts (old fashioned) for 1.50 each. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the freshness of the donuts! The donuts go fast so try to go early. If you buy a dozen it's cheaper ! There is so many choices to choose from. They are fully staffed to handle the inflex of customers. This is family owned and they ate super friendly and move the line pretty quickly. They have indoor seating along with a few tables outside. It's hard to find a true donut shop nowadays! Treat yourself to a fresh donut and wallet friendly coffee options! Ps. They open at 5 am

I had the crème brule donut and it was to die for! I had to find a quiet spot, like in Ally Mcbeal, for that first bite & coffee sip. AHHH! Yah it was that good! The price was right for the quality vs the quantity and requires a return visit. These guys just opened so I can't wait to see what they do with coffee options later on. Speaking of which, the one star comment by Matt C (the cat DJ) is suspect. I mean come on 1,206 reviews, there is no quality to Matt's one star review and he violates Yelp review guidelines by reviewing on competitors in his industry, 198 of them. Here, Matt posts that he would rather stuff Wal-Mart donuts in his face to get more quantity instead of, as he claims, Hula Buns makes "a better tasting donut". I hope people make more reviews to counteract this kind of fake engagement. In a nutshell, Hula Buns makes superior quality pastries, call ahead is available, it's a pick up only joint; so the ambience is not for sitting and working, you can see a real kitchen in operation right behind the cashier, you see that the donuts are fresh, it's easy to find, the parking is good AND THEY DELIVER SMALL AND LARGE ORDERS! So while sitting in the car waiting for my wife and toddler to use the bathroom, I googled this place, not thinking much of it. Then, I find out that Rocklin Donuts and Cinnamon have made it onto some of the best donut lists in the whole country! So, of course, here I am jumping out of the car and strolling over to see what's left on a Sunday (Mother's Day) afternoon. Unfortunately for me, they were out of there incredible looking cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. The photos from other Yelpers made me jealous. Instead, I got some donut holes and a chocolate croissant. The nice lady had a thick accent, but we got things figured out, and she even threw in some extra donut holes for me. The donut holes were incredible. Absolutely melt in your mouth. Perfection. The chocolate croissant was not flaky or crispy, but had that classic donut shop chewy texture, and of course, was loaded with chocolate. I HAVE to come back for the apple fritter, as that's one of my favorite donuts, and the cinnamon rolls look insane. I will be back!

Ooooh Lord! Did I just die and go to heaven? How gorgeous is it in here!?…read more First off, I pulled in to the parking lot in front of Dunk 'n' Run Donuts and the woman working inside was smiling at me before I even got out of my car. I walked in at about 12:30 today. As I walked in, the showcase was about half full. I mean, 12:30 is kind of late to come and get donuts, however, there was still plenty of goodies for me!! After talking with Laura, I couldn't decide what I was going to get...Iwas actually here for just a couple of fashions, but after seeing the other options... how beautiful they were. They got me. Dunk 'n' Run Donuts reeled me in! So, how am I supposed to pick just a couple of old fashions? These donuts were sparkling at me! They had a beautiful glossiness to them. They were colorful! Vibrant! My eyes were absolutely eating first. The person that decorated them has major culinary skills... these were almost too pretty to eat! Ok, ok! We're talkin Creme Brule! Dubai! PB&J! Banana cream, Kinder's... and yes! I also got my family's favorite, the old fashion donut. The price for a dozen? $20.75, PLUS... extra for the gorgeous filled donuts. A whopping $42+ for this dozen donuts was quite the shock... is that the norm? Laura is so sweet and very fun to talk to. I hope I run into her again! Maybe next time, I will have a seat inside and order a cup of coffee with my donut. Let's dive into what I thought... Dubai Donut I like that they are keeping up with the trendy Dubai chocolate that's poppin all over. This one was filled with real pistachio cream!!! The top is dipped in dark chocolate.. thick chocolate, drizzled with green, and dusted with crumbs. It was so decadent. Creamy... sinful. It was not too sweet and then it was fudge and buttery at the same time. PB&J Peanut butter on top, with a dollop of white frosting and jam, filled with strawberry jam. This one was very sweet. After this one, I could've been done. Creme Brule This one has a dark caramelized color with a crispy top with a single raspberry, it has a cream filled center.. was it vanilla bean? It was soft, creamy, and crunchy all at the same time. I'm in the middle in this one. Kinder's This was a playful donut. Chocolaty top with a couple of Kinders crunchy pieces. The inside was filled with Nutella. This one is very sweet and if you love Nutella, this is the donut for you! Banana Cream It had creamy frosting in top with a banana chip and nilla waffer, with the tiniest mint leaf. The center was like banana cream.. maybe made with a banana liqueur? This one was so good! I loved the touch of the mint with banana flavor... but I'm not a banana chip fan. The old fashion donuts were perfectly delicious. They are simple compared to the donuts I described above, but sometimes, simple is better. These have a shiny chocolate, with crispy jagged edges. To me, they have the perfect frosting to donut ratio. Overall, I really enjoyed the dozen donuts I bought at Dunk 'n' Run. Out of the new ones I tried, I would have to say the Dubai Donut was a 10/10. I felt like the customer service was above and beyond. Laura is very sweet and fun to talk to. Was it worth a whopping price of $42+? Yes. The real pistachio cream is a hit. This isn't your average donut at some donut shop. I call these a masterpiece created by the finest food stylist that needs to be featured in a magazine. See you guys again, soon!!

Right when you walk in, the sweet aroma of fresh baked sweets welcomed you in. There was a good crowd inside which we thought were waiting to order but found out they were waiting for the fresh baked sweet bread. A must if you ever try any. Just looking through the case of all the amazing creation. Basically fancy donuts. One after the other. They also had a few savory items included. Didn't get any but they looked amazing. We ended up going with the bad bundles. Half dozen donuts and 20 piece staxx. Found out that's what people were waiting for when we walked in. Everyone was waiting for them to come fresh out of the oven hence the long wait. It did take a while for us but we were offered a cookie to try while waiting. It was delicious, I do recommend the ube cookies. After what did take a long while, we tried our fresh HOT box of staxx. Let me say, wow they were amazing and of course hot. Straight from the oven. Nice moist bread with a nice sweet glaze. I can see what the hype was about with them. Everyone in line for them. We didn't get a chance to try the donuts right away. By the time we had them, it had been sitting for a while. Still good but better if they were fresh from the start. It was good regardless and this place was great. The shop is located just outside of Quincy in a strip mall. We pulled in and found the selection to be fairly sparse at 9am and the donuts looked darker than I'm used to and a bit dry. The kids scored a chocolate iced long john and a chocolate iced old fashioned, and I added on a glazed twist and a raspberry jelly, and the total was around 8 bucks. I went to pay and they tacked on a .50 charge for a credit card. This practice always upsets me as a consumer and I wish they'd just charge what's necessary to do business. I had cash and used that instead to avoid it. The service, from what I can only guess are the owners, wasn't very warm or friendly, and that was a bit disheartening too. I'm used to small towns having such warm and wonderful people, and this just wasn't the case. The place was clean with a few tables to sit, so we stayed and ate there. The gentleman who is always there seems intoxicated and has no business working in customer service. He says strange things and is extremely forgetful - in fact, the same day I stopped coming here, a man with his family had a confrontation with him. The worker's behavior always very off - not a personality thing, but appears to be a sobriety issue. In the aforementioned man's confrontation, the worker forgot multiple items and wouldn't make it right until the man brought it up, showed his receipt, and made the worker calculate the items which were bought - after the worker gave the man what he was owed, the worker failed to acknowledge their mistake and simply looked at the man with a blank stare. I had a similar issue and called the manager, who wasn't even on site. However, I didn't notice I was missing items until I drove home. The manager wouldn't even say "sorry about that" they simply said they would talk to the staff and that I should go back to pick up the items THEY failed to provide. I went back, and the same gentleman with the inconsistent, non-sober appearing behavior said he didn't hear anything from his manager and I had to call the manager AGAIN. If it isn't the poor behavior from the dude working there, the chick in the back with the sour attitude also fails every box of customer service. I'll never return. This was a great place when the original owner was running the show, now it's just bad.
