If you're not getting the mochi donuts, you're doing it wrong. This donut shop is an absolute gem! The mochi donuts are perfectly chewy on the inside with a light crisp on the outside--such a unique texture you don't get from regular donuts. Every flavor I tried was fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which made it impossible to stop at just one. You can tell everything is made with care, and the quality really stands out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself has a great vibe that makes you want to come back again and again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whether you're a donut lover or just curious about mochi donuts, this place is 100% worth the visit. I'll definitely be back for more!

Bad Bakers is well known in the region for their fancy, over the top donuts and Staxx (aka Senorita bread). They offer donuts and flavor injections, mochi donuts, kronuts. They also have savory items like pork empanadas and hot dog kolaches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We've been to the Roseville location several times. Its' brightly decorated with their signature pink on the walls[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. It can be pretty busy but the wait isn't terrible. Staff is always great. We usually go in the mornings so there are plenty of donuts and other items available. Their staxx are good like always. Nice and pillowy, and filled with melted sugar and butter. You can never go wrong with a box of them. The donuts I think can be hit or miss. Some flavor toppings are great, and some a little much and feels doesn't add much to the taste. Sometimes donuts come with flavor syringes too.

New mini, crispy, but underbaked on the inside?

Bought 60pcs seniorita/spanish bread on 4/7/26 for work. Should've checked them before I left their store. They were so small, burnt on the outside, and weren't fully baked on the inside and still tasted like dough. I called the store around 5pm and tried to warn them but they told me that they were trying to experiment some recipe .

Hmmmm. Hot Señorita Rolls!!! Oh yeah. So good and soft and gooey, it almost melts in your mouth!!! And you can't stop at one piece. I had 3 and two more later on! Service was quick although the girl behind the counter could have been more personable... [[HIGHLIGHT]]store is simply laid out and the other baked goods all looked tempting and delicious![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's several bundles called "Staxx", depending on how much you want. A must try!!!

Stopped here briefly to grab some Staxx (similar to senorita bread) and ube staxx for my sons basketball team. I was a little disappointed that it was only 10:30 am on a Saturday morning and they were out of boxes. I did enjoy the pastry it was buttery, soft and warm. Boys did like them. It's a take out bakery only but they do offer tons of different fun donuts and pastries. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Friendly staff.

Gluten free donuts with caramel/chocolate glaze with walnuts sprinkled on half!

One of our granddaughters is new to being gluten free. Our grandchildren wanted donuts for breakfast. We went to Bad Bakers to try out their gluten free donuts! My granddaughter thought they were amazing and said, "Nonna, can you take a picture of these donuts and send it to my mom!"

6/9/26-Bad experience at Bad Bakers this morning.I bought several items and i asked for a small bag to put all of them because they were a present to a coworker and she was going to charge me 50 cents for a small sandwich paper bag. She was so rude, she did not deserve the tip I gave her. Not the first time-This store gives the worst service compared to other locations.

    Luscious gorgeous glaze!

Bad Bakers: A Sweet Tooth Wonderland If Willy Wonka opened a donut shop, it would pale in comparison to Bad Bakers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in a heavenly aroma that could convince anyone they're standing in a confectionery paradise.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seriously, the air smells like pure joy wrapped in chocolate, sugar, and dreams.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now, let's talk about the service. These folks are pros. Friendly, fast, and on-point. The line moves with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine, but with none of the robotic coldness. Instead, it's warm smiles, genuine chatter, and pure donut enthusiasm. You'll walk out feeling like a regular, even if it's your first visit. And the donuts. Oh, the donuts. Walking up to the showcase is like walking into a dog pound where every single pup is adorable, perfect, and begging to come home with you. How do you choose? It's borderline torture. From candy-covered masterpieces to whimsically iced confections, there's not a single dud in sight. Every donut is a work of art--and not the pretentious kind, but the "I'm so good, you'll have to eat me" kind. To anyone reading this: get yourself to Bad Bakers. This isn't just a donut shop--it's an experience, a sugar-fueled adventure. Bring friends, bring family, heck, bring strangers. Just go. You'll thank me later (probably with a donut in hand).

I've been coming here for years and I've never had a bad donut... (pun intended). This place will never get old. I just LOVE their donuts. The ube cronut is my favorite I've had so far besides the strawberry shortbread which is my usual go to. You just can't go wrong here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Of course sometimes it can be crowded but good things come to those who wait ;)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Spanish roll

Quality has gone down hill. Gal at the register said the owners changed things up with the Spanish rolls to save money. The roll was over cooked and not good. Won't recommend this place anymore.

Ask the Community - BAD Bakers - Roseville

Are they still cooking the gluten free donuts in the same oil as the regular donuts?

Do any of your products contain Lard?

I asked at the store in Natomas and they didn't know. :/

Are gluten friendly donuts only offered on the weekends?

Our Gluten Friendly options are currently offered on the weekends!

You came up on a search for gluten-free donuts. Is this something you offer?

They said they had gluten friendly items where they fried them in the same oil. So... You take…

First and most important star: Pushkin's is predominantly vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free -- and bakeries that truly excel in all three are one in a million. For anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions, this place feels like winning the lottery. You can actually relax and enjoy treats without feeling like you're settling or taking a risk. Second star: the employees are incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate. One guy (nose ring, long blonde hair -- didn't catch his name) was amazing. He knew the pastries inside and out and patiently walked my wife through allergy questions about dairy-free options, putting her totally at ease. And trust me, my wife can ask a thousand questions (till u wanna choke her).. Another employee -- a short, curly-haired, very light-skinned/mixed Black woman -- was just as gracious when we asked about cashews for our daughter. Both of them were beyond kind and knowledgeable. Third star: great coffee. I only had an Americano, but it was really good -- smooth, rich, and exactly what you want with pastries like these. Fourth star: the place is clean, organized, and clearly well-run. It was busy, but the team handled the crowd efficiently without feeling rushed or chaotic. Fifth star (the fun one): the pastries are ridiculously good. We tried a bunch: * chocolate mud cookie -- perfect crunch on the outside, chewy inside * cinnamon-roll-style pound cake -- super moist and flavorful * cinnamon roll scone * almond cake with raspberry ...and several others I didn't catch the names of. Everything was delicious. You'd never guess these are vegan/gluten-free/dairy-free -- they're just straight-up amazing pastries. Bottom line: Pushkin's is a gem. If you have dietary restrictions, it's a must-visit. If you don't, are you sure you don't? Maybe you should? it's still a must-visit. We'll absolutely be back when in town to check out the cafe and real food items !

We ordered several items and so far the flavors just weren't as good as before, which was a little disappointing. Keep in mind I only bought pastries. I won't be back for those. That said, the staff was very nice and friendly, and the service was good. I'm hoping this was just an off day because I remember really enjoying it in the past.

The baristia that helped me was overall nice but the coffee itself lack many things and I was very disappointed. I ordered the Shaken Espresso and asked for sugarfree vanilla with regular milk. They only have 1 size so you don't have much options to choose from. After trying it, I felt like I was just drinking a whole cup of milk, it didn't have ANY espresso/coffee taste in it at all. Note they only have 1 size so its like a large size coffee cup. I brought the coffee back and had asked them to remake it and the barista informed me that it only comes with 1 shot of espresso per drink thus thats why it taste so milky. 1 shot? What? I was so shocked, in such a big cup I would expect at least two shots since the total of it was over $7. Anyways I asked them to remake it with less milk and 5-6 minutes later, it honestly ended up just being worse than earlier... Now it just taste very watery, like a diluted espresso and I can't even drink it. She was nice and helpful but I was disappointed I couldn't enjoy the coffee like I wanted to. So I just tossed the whole cup away, what a waste.
