The decor is wall-to-wall sweets! They have inside seating and one table outside. No public restroom in view. They have old school nostalgic classic candies you enjoyed as a kid like candy/bubble gum cigarettes, salt water taffy, wax lips, and miners gold bags. Check out their chocolates, caramel apples, and fudge. If your looking for a different sweet treat, they have a variety of flavored ice creams with hot fudge or caramel sauces and soda pop. A family group overnight jaunt to Nevada City yielded lots of time to stroll around Sunday evening…read moreand Monday until mid-day. By the time we arrived Sunday, shops were starting to close up. Glad that The Truffle Shop was open on Monday when I stopped in looking for some shade an a cooler spot to be for a bit. The collection of hand-crafted truffles was not only beautiful and wildly unique with its flavor profiles, but complimented by the artistic space of the petite shop. It was all a visual delight, before even getting to choosing the chocolates. As it was a warm day, I didn't order as many as I might have otherwise as I was sure that the truffle treats would melt before we could enjoy them properly - savoring each tasty bite. I did get a dark chocolate/cherry one for me, and Matcha tea flavor for Dear Hubby, who wasn't with me at the time. I had a nice chat with the gentleman running the shop. He may have been the owner, coming from the back with a tray of more truffles to fill out the display cases. Thankfully on a warm afternoon, they had chilled bottled water for sale, too. After making my purchase and taking a few photos of the whimsical interior, I sat and enjoyed my truffle at the little bistro table in the outside hallway. It was a perfect little respite before more strolling on Broad Street again.

They were easy to work with, having plenty of options for chairs, tables, outdoor games, umbrellas, water dispensers, and everything else we needed. Because we held our wedding at an AirBNB rental, their ability to dropoff and pickup items was essential and I felt that the prices they charged for that were reasonable and timely. I would highly recommend this place to anyone holding a big event where you want a flexible partner with recommendations backed by years of experience. Oh, and the people we worked with in-person and over the phone were just fantastic. They were super friendly and easy to work with. Amazing :)

My husband and I have a backyard that's overflowing with flowers and vegetables, so we share that same joy when it comes to talking about plants. It felt like we were speaking the same language from the very beginning. For our floral vision, I wanted our ceremony to feel like our guests had stumbled into a whimsical wildflower paradise. I wanted it to feel abundant, natural, and full of interesting textures. Even though I didn't always have the florist vocabulary to describe exactly what I was thinking, Deena immediately understood the vision and created something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I also asked her to create a floral lapel for my husband after stumbling across one on Pinterest. She told me she hadn't made one before, but instead of hesitating, she got genuinely excited about the challenge. The final piece was absolutely stunning. It was wild, textural, abundant, and unlike anything I'd ever seen. Working with Deena was such a joy because she brought that same excitement and enthusiasm to every interaction. We bought buckets of blue and white flowers with various green fillers. The drive to the farm was picturesque and part of memorable experience. Deena had everything waiting for us when we arrived. The flowers were so fresh. Not one of the centerpieces we created wilted in a four-day wedding trip. The centerpieces were the highlight of the wedding and we'll never forget the experience.
