The first floor has alot of kitchen stuff and of course their chocolates when you first enter the doors! Upstairs is mainly kids stuff and toys. This is an old building so of course there is no elevator. I love all their unique items! I could easily spend an hour in the store! I bought some lavender hand lotion and although I love their chocolates and goodies I was able to control myself! Lol The ladies up front were friendly and helpful! ( Typical friendly Grass Valley!) A family group overnight jaunt to Nevada City yielded lots of time to stroll around Sunday evening…read moreand Monday until mid-day. By the time we arrived Sunday, shops were starting to close up. Glad that The Truffle Shop was open on Monday when I stopped in looking for some shade an a cooler spot to be for a bit. The collection of hand-crafted truffles was not only beautiful and wildly unique with its flavor profiles, but complimented by the artistic space of the petite shop. It was all a visual delight, before even getting to choosing the chocolates. As it was a warm day, I didn't order as many as I might have otherwise as I was sure that the truffle treats would melt before we could enjoy them properly - savoring each tasty bite. I did get a dark chocolate/cherry one for me, and Matcha tea flavor for Dear Hubby, who wasn't with me at the time. I had a nice chat with the gentleman running the shop. He may have been the owner, coming from the back with a tray of more truffles to fill out the display cases. Thankfully on a warm afternoon, they had chilled bottled water for sale, too. After making my purchase and taking a few photos of the whimsical interior, I sat and enjoyed my truffle at the little bistro table in the outside hallway. It was a perfect little respite before more strolling on Broad Street again.

Because we held our wedding at an AirBNB rental, their ability to dropoff and pickup items was essential and I felt that the prices they charged for that were reasonable and timely. I would highly recommend this place to anyone holding a big event where you want a flexible partner with recommendations backed by years of experience. Oh, and the people we worked with in-person and over the phone were just fantastic. They were super friendly and easy to work with. Amazing :)

My husband and I have a backyard that's overflowing with flowers and vegetables, so we share that same joy when it comes to talking about plants. It felt like we were speaking the same language from the very beginning. For our floral vision, I wanted our ceremony to feel like our guests had stumbled into a whimsical wildflower paradise. I wanted it to feel abundant, natural, and full of interesting textures. Even though I didn't always have the florist vocabulary to describe exactly what I was thinking, Deena immediately understood the vision and created something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I also asked her to create a floral lapel for my husband after stumbling across one on Pinterest. She told me she hadn't made one before, but instead of hesitating, she got genuinely excited about the challenge. The final piece was absolutely stunning. It was wild, textural, abundant, and unlike anything I'd ever seen. Working with Deena was such a joy because she brought that same excitement and enthusiasm to every interaction. I was wrong. So glad I was too. This place has a beautifully designed interior and great furniture display fixtures to showcase their merchandise. Bonus, their items are affordable priced. Yay! Their knickknacks range from scented candles, cute signs with sayings, tablecloths, napkins, lace, mugs, etc. Currently, they carry the Jim Shore line of Peanuts figurines. Also the artist one-of-a-kind made wall clocks caught my eye, they are on the wall behind the register. Just drop in and browse, something will catch your eye.
