I went here today to grab a peppermint mocha. The service was friendly and fairly quick and my hot mocha tasted great! Daily Grind Espresso is located right off of Grand Avenue. You pull up to the drive-thru here and order. They give you a chocolate covered coffee bean on your coffee too, which I love (every place should do this)! All in all a nice little stand. I probably will be back when I'm around again for a nice shot of caffeine. read more

I will not be spending my money here. I bought a latte to drink while on a road trip, got on the road and took a sip and realized they had made it wrong but was too far away to go back to have it fixed. Since I stop, or did stop (not anymore), here on my way out of town regularly I asked to have it remade the next time I stopped. They remade it but charged me. Yesterday I went, for the last time, and explained to the barista what had happened and she said they could not and would not remake my coffee. She said "if we know it's wrong we will remake it ". If you know it's wrong why would you serve it to me!!!!! At least at Starbucks you consistently know what you're getting, and at the same exact price. I go to daily grind about twice a month and lately it's gone down hill. I went there for my bf's birthday and they didn't even say happy birthday. I went there for my birthday and they didn't acknowledge it or anything. There's no double stamps or a free drink for your birthday. I finally got three cards punched completely and they don't even give you a free drink. It's $3 off for each card. So in theory I have to buy 33 drinks before I can get a free Large Nutella frost. I'm glad that they went out of business in downtown and made room for a coffee business who actually cares about their customers. read more

Every time I go to this coffee shop the employees are not friendly whatsoever and honestly pretty rude. I just went there and paid for a 20 oz Red Bull and tipped. I was given a 16 oz and so I turned right around and said hey I just paid for a 20oz and this is a 16, the gal takes it back and another brings back the drink a moment later and tells me that they use the same can for a 16 and 20 and the only difference is they add more ice to a 20oz. So they charged me me for a 20oz that is the same amount as the 16oz which in my opinion is dishonest. read more

This morning I went there to grab a big coffee order for my co-workers and myself before a meeting. Service was okay but took forever all five times I have been and especially today. I am currently looking for a second job and have been a barista before and the employees there encouraged me to return and talk to Tammy the owner. I had gone in the day before and she had left early. I asked this morning while I was there if she was available and they told me she wasn't there yet so I took time out of my work day to run over and turn in my resume while she was there. She politely told me that they weren't hiring and then stated "Well, I could hold on to this (referring to my resume) or I could just give it back to you." Who does that? Super unprofessional! Ordered two drinks a coffee for myself and a red bull for a friend. They both were not so good. The coffee was a drink made from a powder that was not mixed well at all every drink of my beverage was chunky and crunchy and had not even a hint of coffee flavor in it , also almost 7$ for a 16oz iced beverage holy cow!!!!! Red Bull drink was decent flavor but also had a strange texture and was very overpriced for a small cup. I will not be going back. Spent 13$ trying to get some caffeine and just got ripped off. read more

So I have been to Daily Grind about a million times and I typically I don't have an issue with the service but today I went to the location one Grand Ave. and probably had one of the worst customer service experiences ever in my life, especially since it was just for a drink. When I got to the stand I asked for a matcha tea with hot water, which is a thing, and specified that all I wanted was matcha powder and water. The woman working the counter agreed that they could make it but when I got the bill it was almost $6. Matcha is a tea, so it should be charged as a tea. I asked the woman why it was so expensive and she answered that the only way they make matcha is with steamed milk and that they can't make it any other way. I explained to her that all I wanted was matcha and water and she continued to reject my request by saying "well we don't make it that way and it won't taste very good if we did." I told her that I like it that way and so she went and asked her coworker and came back by saying "I can make it for you the way you want but you will still be charged the same amount." I asked her why and said I have never been charged that much for matcha, and she said "well we aren't other places and if you have an issue with it I can get my boss on the phone for you." I decided to accept the charge and let it go because she was annoying me and there was a huge line behind us but I have to say the amount of attitude and rudeness that worker expressed toward me was completely uncalled for offensive. I will not be going to Daily Grind again if she is still working there. For reference to the manager, the worker has light skin, has long dark brown hair, wears glasses, has a nose ring I think, and looks to be in her early 20s. read more

The place has an awesome environment and is a great place to study. I love the fact that they have the ice cream there!!! But it is extremely overpriced for average coffee. There are a lot of options and the food is great, it is just very expensive for what it is. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER. a girl touched my food with her bare hands and I was 3 people back in line and it took 45 minutes to get my coffee and then the girls working were completely rude just to top it all off :-). wish I could rate this with a negative amount of stars... will never be coming back to this daily grind again. read more
