One bite revealed probably the best fish imaginable, white and thick. The steak fries we incredible and cut perfectly. I visited this location today to try out the chicken and waffles, but unfortunately, the experience didn't go as planned. The process here is a bit unique for a drive-through: you place your order at the window, they hand you a buzzer, and then you have to find a place to park and wait for your food to be ready. ​I placed my order at 3:32 PM and went to park nearby. After waiting for 40 minutes, my food still hadn't arrived and the buzzer never went off. It didn't make much sense for a chicken and waffles order to take that long, especially in a drive-through setup where you're waiting in your car. ​By 4:14 PM, I decided to drive back through the lane to check on the status and ultimately requested a refund. I want to give a huge shout-out to the staff at the window, they were incredibly kind and professional. Any establishment that has boudin balls has my attention! I wanted to order seafood gumbo, but they were out. I also wanted a daiquiri, but wasn't sure on the flavors. I ordered a pickup order here for Chicken and Waffles. I got a butter pecan waffle and chicken tenders. My meal came out to $14.98. The meal comes with 4 chicken tenders on top of the waffle. The staff is very friendly and respectful. My order was ready on time and I pulled right up to the drive thru and received my pickup order. The butter pecan waffle is so yummy, I need another already. Chicken tenders are great! I think next time I will try the wings because I could smell them when pulling up and it smelled so delicious. Placed order online and gave me an estimated 25 minute wait on small order. Took about 40 minutes to get my food. I thought I would be able to choose a Daiquiri but was just given one at the window. I did ask if I could choose but he just gave me Ocean Water. I am not sure if they only have one flavor Daiquiri a day. I ordered chicken tenders and waffles and 6 piece wings with buffalo sauce. Chicken and waffles were not great. Tenders were dry and the one waffle you get was soggy. Wings had a good flavor but are breaded which threw me off. Fries were decently seasoned. I actually stopped here on my way to Soi Brows so glad I finally got a chance to try their Daiquiris'. It was a nice Gent that answered the Drive Thru window. I was able to make my purchase from a small choice; Sour Apple, Mango, Tropical Strawberry I think and another option. I went for the first time yesterday and the food was good but I think they need a better system for getting the food to people like maybe adopt sending text alerts or even giving out numbers. One thing that I did not like was the miscommunication. When I ordered food, the woman who took our order gave us a 15 min time frame of when it'll be ready. We ordered chicken tenders and waffles since they were out/not selling the bone in wings for the meal, and lastly I ordered an ocean water 16 oz daiquiri. I noticed that the business started to get more busy as we sat and waited in the car. About 25 mins passed and we see the woman who took our order, had come towards our car letting us know to come to the window so when I did go back up there, another team member greeted me and thought I was ordering. I let him know I was coming to get the food because I saw her gesturing back to the shop. They converted for a second and she let him know my food was sitting on this counter in a bag, that I could visibly see, and then she told him my other order wasn't ready just yet, and told me to wait a little longer. By this point we'd been there for at least 35 mins and I'm just waiting at the sitting area they have. Finally another 10 mins or so later come and the woman who took my order, opens the window handing me a bag. I ask is there another one? She then responds, "I am and brought it to your car". A little puzzled, I respond no you came near the car so I came back here thinking it was ready. Keep in mind, I'm not very confrontational and I understand mistakes but I got flustered and wasn't able to explain very well what was going on. Finally, I say "I ordered 2 of these and you guys said it sitting on the counter over there that I didn't take and I also ordered a drink that I didn't get." She asks for the bag back and then shuts the window. She may have said, give me a few moments but I'm a little annoyed because of how long it had been. I finally go to my friend, explain what happened to told him to go up there to try to figure it out because I'm not doing well. He does and gets the drink and food about another 15 mins later. When we made it to our destination ready to finally eat we see that the team also forgot the Nashville hot sauce for me and my friend's chicken and waffles. By this point, I was too exhausted to even go back due to that interaction. Another note, they put up these red stickers on the menu when they are out of something so I hope that helps when ordering. read more
